#boohooWRAPUP Event

Visit Boohoo here!

Last Thursday, TSOP were honoured to be invited to dinner with Boohoo and a few other gorgeous bloggers for their Wrap Up event to showcase their Christmas collection at The Happenstance near St Paul's :)

The lovely Boohoo ladies Roxanne, Rosie and Alex had set up for us all was just stunning with gorgeous flower arrangements and killer heels lining the dinner table, a video booth so we could film our favourite pieces and jars of pick n mix for us to take up in little pink and white striped bags!

Even though Naomi had already seen the collection at their press office, the second time round was equally as exciting when we both saw all that glitz and sequins! With the alcohol flowing nicely (not for me, wahhh) and a lush sat down meal it really did feel like Christmas had come super early and was such a lovely evening.

There is something for everyone and for every Christmas party in the collection and I cannot wait for it to launch! Both of us have already picked out our Xmas Day outfits - Naomi, a silver high neck all over sequin top and Amy, a black and gold striped sequin shift dress. Both pieces have that perfect festive sparkle without being too dressed up for a day at home with the family and both such good quality and value! Watch out for the video appearing of us and all the other beauties talking about these!

We are so lucky to be associated with wonderful companies such as Boohoo and the people that work for them are even more gorge than the clothes we get to see- thank you again Boohoo! Hopefully we'll see you for Spring :)

Do you dig our blog? Voting closes on the 30th August!

How Soon Is Now? - Naomi

c/o Boohoo Tartan Pinafore, c/o Boohoo Leopard Print Blazer, Primark White Shirt, c/o Boohoo Clutch, Topshop Aggro Boots, Wildfox Sunglasses

One of the most exciting looks I have done in a while and a trend that makes me super excited for A/W! The 'This Is England' styling that has hit down on the high street has got everyone excited for tartan, leopard print, bomber jackets, leather and crisp white shirts.

The preppy clean styling which is often sported by Alexa Chung and has been heavily featured in style magazine and by bloggers it's a look that is here to stay and a great transitional trend to start wearing now. Keep layers simple with white shirts and bomber jackets but for the colder months gear towards parkas, boyfriend style check coats and crombie jackets.

The great thing about the 'This Is England' style dressing is it can be dressed up or dressed down and can be worn by everyone even if you are not that into following the trends. For a dressed up look choose a white shirt, black pvc skirt and khaki bomber and for a dressed down look go for a checker shirt, high waisted jean and leather jacket. Whatever your style you can definitely buy into this trend even if it's just a bomber jacket or piece of check for A/W.

We are going to do a few posts over the next few months on this trend as there are so many different takes and wonderful outfit opportunities (Amy and myself are big fans!) so I will show you how to wear a more casual TIE look. For this look I wore a wonderful tartan pinafore from Boohoo which is a great addition to my winter wardrobe and it looks bang on trend without trying hard. I wore it dressed up with a crisp white shirt underneath but it would also look great with a jersey and a bomber for a more casual cool look. I love this trend because it's acceptable if not encouraged to mix tartan and leopard print so I wore a leopard print blazer over my shoulders which is also from Boohoo. The accessories I kept to a minimum but still statement, my Aggro boots from Topshop which I am absolutely in LOVE with and now also come in a holographic leather.  I chose a envelope black clutch from Boohoo and my favourite thing of the look my Wildfox Sunnies which are so quirky and really bring the look together and make it 'Naomi'

This outfit is quite loud yet still premium and I think it's a great trend to wear to work/an event where you want to look smart and on trend. Keep your eyes peeled over the next few weeks for more TIE posts.... Exciting!

Boohoo Christmas Collection

So yesterday I went to check out Boohoo.com Christmas collection at their press office on Carnaby St! When you think of Christmas you think of sparkle, sequins and rich fabrics and colours... I was not disappointed! An array of sequins and wonderfulness and a sweet shop was waiting for me and it made  lust for the party season and winter clothes!

My favourite peices were the black and white sequin crop top and maxi skirt which has a stunning print to it and would look amazing with a massive fur over it! The sequin long sleeved, low front dress which I have a very similar one in black. The style is stunning and the sequin design almost reminded me of Balmain from afar. Basically I loved everything covered in sequins as I also loved the silver high neck long sleeved top which will again look amazing with fur and some killer heels!

The accessories were to die for and looked so premium and expensive! The necklaces were big and jeweled and reminded me of Zara but of course half the price! The little box clutches and transparent hard clutches were super cute and a perfect accesssory for the Christmas season!

If you are looking for that special outfit for an occasion of event next season be sure to check out their Christmas collection and out sparkle all of your friends!

After viewing the collection I got street style shot 3 times on Carnaby St and met some amazing people! Although I think I look like a massive goth, the outfit went down amazing so I will talk through what I wore.....

Boohoo Floral Head Garland, Zara Lace Dress, Primark Tee, Boohoo Rucksack, Topshop Boots, Boohoo Rucksack, H&M Sunnies

Sometimes an all black look can create so much drama and I love that! You can really go to town on accessories and textures and over layer to create a stunning look. The dress from Zara is one of my favourites and I love wearing it under and over things. For this look I wore it with a black cropped tee over it and PU long gilet from Boohoo which has become a staple piece in my wardrobe! I accessorised    heavily with a black floral garland, cross necklaces and my studded rucksack.

Hope you all are having a lovely weekend! x

Boohoo AW13 Press Day

What we wore...

All C/O of Boohoo we wore our favourite pieces from the website. We wanted to be co-ordinated with our outfits so we chose a 'Monochrome with a flash of neon' statement. We were especially loving the Boohoo Boutique collection with my jacket and Amy's shorts both from the collection. The look was perfect for the event being both smart and on trend- we felt super confident with our choices and hope we made a good impression.

We had so much fun at the AW press event and was totally overwhelmed by the product coming through for Autumn/Winter and the amazing people we met. We drank prosseco, talked trends and had a mini dress up photo shoot.

For AW expect wonderful things from Boohoo including sport luxe, mesh and leather inserts, cocoon shapes, tartan and two layer coats. All the product felt premium, amazing quality and great value for money. In fact we were so over excited by the product that we already created our own AW want list and the best part is we won't be spending an arm and leg to look good this winter.
