Denim Daze - Naomi

H&M Black Hat
Vintage Denim Dress: East End Thrift Store
Beyond Retro 70s Coat
c/o Boohoo Bag, Urban Outfitters Belt
c/o Daniel Footwear Snake Boots
ASOS Lace Choker

Denim along with military is set to be  2015's new uniform! I have never been a denim lover as such, but I love that you can mix it into a 70s look for a bit of an edge and have definitely took this on board the last few weeks!

I pulled my denim dress out of storage over Christmas and have been absolutely crushing over it since, there so easy to wear, look great layered with knits and waistcoats and look so right with wintry boots (especially over the knee or snakeskin!)

I styled the dress with my new vintage coat which has took centre stage in my wardrobe and look great teamed over the denim! I belted the dress for a bit of shape and wore with my snakeskin boots for a 70s feel. Last but not least I accessorised the look with my big black hat, suede bag from Paul's Boutique and my favourite lace choker from ASOS.

Denim is the perfect piece to be buying now ahead of spring, we would love to see how your wearing yours!

F&F Denim Style Challenge - Naomi

F&F Denim Shirt, F&F Checked Skirt, F&F Black Rucksack, Warehouse Checked Cape, Topshop Argo Boots, Vintage Belt

Visit Clothing At Tesco HERE

Last week we were asked to take part in a competition for F&F Clothing At Tesco. We were given a £75 Voucher to buy some items each including a denim item. Denim is a staple piece in every girls wardrobe and for Amy and myself its all about denim jackets, shorts and shirts.

We love a good style challenge so were really excited to get on board with this and create some cool outfits. I went for a classic F&F dark denim shirt which is a core denim piece that goes with literally everything! Of course with my latest tartan obsession I fell in love with this cute little checked skirt also from F&F which I know I will be wearing lots over AW! It's bang on trend and will look great with a cropped jumper in a clueless 90s look! As you know we both are huge fans of our trusty black rucksacks so we ordered this F&F black rucksack which worked great with both of our outfits.

I liked this look really clean and thought my checked grey cape from Warehouse worked perfectly clashing up the checks In the skirt and cape but in a subtle way. I liked the contrast of the denim shirt against the grey wool coat and love that the denim sleeves show! I felt like a black skinny belt and the rucksack were enough to accessorise this look especially with my killer Buckle boots from Topshop.

What do you think of my denim AW look and how will you be styling your denim pieces up for the season ahead? Be sure to visit Clothing At Tesco to get some fab denim pieces at great prices!
