The glorious weather we had over the Easter break called for a complete wardrobe overhaul! Out with the winter woollies and in with the summer statements - our favourite being this seasons tropical prints.

Some of the louder pieces on the high street this season can look quite young so I have hunted out some more subtle ways to get my fix, this Zara dress being my absolute favourite. The bright yellow ticks another trend box and the cute black and blue palm trees is the nod to the tropics trend i was after. Of course being a t-shirt shaped dress makes this a winner for me anyway!

I toned the dress with a pastel yellow coat for a real colour statement but added black accessories to go with this amazing snakeskin bag, another minimalist way to get the tropical vibe.
