When it comes to occasionwear, you will definitely find something you love over at Asos. The site is full of dresses to suit literally every shape and style and unlike most high street stores, you're unlikely to get any doubling up with other attendees! but the crem de le crem is certainly the Asos Salon range, full of glitz and glamour with cool and quirky chucked in too.

My absolute favourite was this beaut of a dress. It's no secret how much I love a t-shirt dress, even more so when it's covered in pink sequins and finished off  with massive gems. I personally prefer shorter dresses for parties/weddings as they're easier to tone down and more importantly easier to dance in! I chose a sleeveless blazer so the sleeve detail wasn't lost and went for a double whammy with the sparkles and wore my embellished clutch (an occassionwear fave!). The hat and sock details make this a little less dressier, perfect for a christening or wedding reception.
