Boohoo SS14 Press Day

Yesterday I went to the amazing Boohoo SS14 press day which was absolutely incredible! Boohoo always know how to put on a great event and all the little touches make it one not to forget! The product is stunning and bang on for next summer. Key pieces that are affordable and good quality.... Infact I wanted a EVERYTHING. Pastels have been big across all the press days I have been to over the last few weeks and Boohoo was no exception with lots of ice cream shades in wonderful pieces.

What really stood out for me were the amazing style sunglasses. As a blogger my sunglass collection is on the large side as you just never know what you might need to complete your look. The sunnies for SS14 were amazing shapes and designs that look so high end and quirky and never would you of thought they would cost under £10!! The chunky platform sandals are also to die for- the holographic ones are definitely on my list. As usual Boohoo Boutique was fab and had some really nice sports luxe pieces that I have my eye on! Some white premium style Joggers with leather detailing are perfect for heading into summer and LFW in February!

They had the drinks flowing at the bar, the dj spinning and popcorn and sweets for all! They also had the pink Boohoo bus parked outside and on the way out you could pick a Christmas onesie or jumper- so cute!! A big thank you to the amazing boohoo team especially the social media girls Roxanne, Rosie & Alex for always supporting the blog and putting on AMAZING events that we just love coming to.

Boohoo really have stepped up a notch for next season and I really do advise all you fashionistas to keep an eye on the website from January when the summer product will start hitting down, this is one season that you will be silly not to miss!

What an incredible idea, how has it not been thought of before?! Certainly my favourite piece from Meadham Kirchoff's collection that launched week, and the roll neck design makes the iconic crochet squares very 2013

The lemon version of this was at the too of my lust list all summer but navy is a much more flattering and UK weather friendly colour

Bill + Mar Christmas Shoot - Naomi

Photography by Annabell Yeung

My love for Bill+Mar started when I wore the marble maxi dress for the Cosmopolitan Blog Awards earlier this year and since then I just can't get enough of the gorgeous prints, the edgy shapes and that Bill+Mar stamp that keeps the edge with dressed up pieces.

The Christmas collection has done exactly that and taken every girls favourite elements- sequins and sparkle and turned them into edgy statement pieces that are guaranteed head turners!

I picked my two favourite pieces from the collection to style up which was firstly the 'Like A Diamond' playsuit. The sequin shorts have a sheer shirt top half with risky sequin pockets covering your boobs, I LOVE IT! For fashionistas generally rocking the small boobs it makes you feel sexy and that you
Can show off in other ways with the sheerness! I styled it with my statement fur coat from Miss Guided
And holographic clutch. I felt fishnets and my chunky Argo boots set this look of perfectly and For that ultimate vamp look a dark purple lip!

The second item I picked was the 'Like A Star' Maxi Dress with cut out sides! Another risky but gorgeous piece that shows of your curves perfectly! Styling this with a knee high pop sock and a chunky boot. A statement silver necklace and textured cardi from Sister Jane's new collection. I always go for a statement clutch especially for going out so went for a snakeskin grey one with this look.

I kept the colour palette for both looks monochrome to focus on the sparkle and sequins, which I think worked really well. Be sure to check out Bill + Mar Christmas Collection available now at http://www.billandmar.com

Femme Fatale - Naomi

Frock On Vintage Beaded Cape, Topshop Green Silky Jumpsuit, Forever 21 Headband, Primark Earrings, Topshop Argo Boots, H&M clutch, H&M Fur Stole

Since I have got back from Gambia I seem to be sporting an unusual winter orange glow- it's real tan I promise! Hence me looking a lot browner than usual in my latest posts - I'm embracing the winter glow ! It was amazing to shoot with Amy again so we met up for a quick coffee and shoot - our favourite things to do! This is our take on a trend that is big across the high street at the moment with Topshop calling it Chateux Femme. Pajama style silky dressing with fur, heaps of embellishment and texture in rich colours. A very Christmassy trend with pieces like feather capes, fur and kimonos being key.

I went for a bit of a clash and wore my green leopard print silky jumpsuit- this is bang on trend with the slouchy pajama shape and silky fabric. I thought my beaded cape from Frock On Vintage worked really well over it and my fur stole added a touch of glamour. I wanted to toughen the look up so stuck with my Topshop Argo boots so it wasn't to girly. Accessorising is key for this look so be sure to have something statement - a necklace, earrings or cape. Of course I went for more than one, my big sparkly earrings set of the cape perfectly and my floral headband was a really cute finish that I think I will definitely be rocking more. Finally my snakeskin clutch (yes I have mixed snakeskin and leopard print) but this trend is all about playing with texture and creating wonderful head turning outfits!

What statement pieces are you wearing for the party season?

Femme Fatale - Amy

Primark PU Biker Jacket, Topshop Oversized Grey Check Shirt, Topshop Boutique Jersey Dress, Primark Lace Cami, Primark Pink Fur Stole, Primark Jewel Necklace, Topshop Heart Patterned Tights, Topshop April Chelsea Boot

It was amazing to shoot with Naomi again! I was obviously a little over excited as I haven't had this many elements to an outfit in so long.

Topshop have launched new trend 'Chateau Femme' and this outfit was based on the key pieces for this :) I am obsessed with this Topshop Boutique Jersey Dress at the moment! I've actually worn it backwards to make the most of the wrap over detail and its the pyjama influences from the trend that meant the silk and lace cami was perfect to go underneath.

For a dressed up look with overly girly touches, I went for a light pink fur stole, jewel necklace and heart design tights but to tone it down into more of a day outfit, I went for a neutral coloured check shirt, leather jacket and flat black boots :)

Meadham Kirchoff For Topshop AW13

Shop online now at www.topshop.co.uk or in Oxford Circus/Selfridges store

Here at TSOP we love a good collaboration so when we heard Meadham Kichoff was doing a collection for Topshop we could only dream of the mad and eccentric outcome that is every girls dream. The collection is bright, cute and kitsch and reminds me of being about 5 and what I would dream of dressing up in! Well your dressing up box has come to a grown up reality, the collection called 'The Cherries' Is an 80 piece collection, including accessories such as bags, shoes and scarves. The collection is very cute and girly, but there are a lot of dark motifs as well, which makes it very unusual. Monsters, eyes and pentagrams are painted in cheerful bright colours and mixed with cherries, hearts and rainbows. Clothes are very daring and extravagant, but there is also a bit of trend in the form of printed jumpers, colured fur and vinyl jackets.

Here are our favourite TSOP pieces from the collection! Of course lots of coloured fur and gorgeous handmade crochet pieces.. Make sure you snap them up fast as they are selling like hot cakes!

Naomi's Week In Style

Shopping around on Oxford street this week has been lethal! There is so much amazing product hitting down for Christmas that my wantlist could go on and on! Topshop has really stepped up with statement sparkly and embellished pieces and it makes me want it to be Christmas Day everyday!

1. Topshop Silver Sequin Skirt

This is the perfect skirt to dress up or down. I think it will look amazing with a chunky knit jumper and a killer pair of boots for the day or fur and heels for night. Either way it's perfect to add some sparkle to the festive season.

2. Topshop Pink Fringe Dress

I brought the white white version of this a few years ago and have worn it lots. The pink is bang on trend and it looks great with a leather jacket over it. A simple dress with gorgeous texture and at £50 it's a style steal!

3. Nasty Gal Black Fringe Cardigan

Could I really have anymore texture in my wardrobe? YES!! Texture is more important than print this season so really layer up to create dramatic and head turning outfits.

4. Topshop Frill Bralet

This is gorgeous for the party season team it with a statement sequin, embellished or PVC skirt and fur coat, the perfect work Christmas party get up!

5. Topshop Embellished Skirt

Another amazing skirt from Topshop and perfect for Christmas time. Again sequin trophy skirts are meant to be worn like style icon Alexa Chung with an oversized chunky knit perfect for that casual/dressy balance.

6. Nasty Gal Fur Jacket

I'm a sucker for a coloured fur jacket, infact if I could have a wardrobe full of rainbow fur I would! This one is gorgeous and really unusual colours, you can always rely on Nasty Gal for unique pieces!

7. Topshop Layered Necklace

Statement necklace are great to throw on with a jumper and still sparkle. This is perfect being both edgy with the silver chains and sparkly with the diamonds. Nothing's better than diamonds and fur!

8. ASOS Fur Bag

Fur bags are all over the high street at the moment, head to River Island and Topshop for a good variety. Although ASOS won over my heart with this quirky, bright fluffy bag which if perfect to add a statement and some fun to any winter outfit.

9. ASOS Cracked Effect Top

I think this is such a great piece and it looks so high end! At £35 it's a definite investment piece, oh ASOS you do spoil us with your wonderful product!

Birds Of A Feather - Amy

Boohoo Black Wide Rim Hat, New Look Fur Gilet, Topshop Pale Pink Feather T-Shirt, Topshop High Neck Paisley Lace Dress, Topshop Ant Boots

This is why I love AW dressing so much better than SS - the colder it gets, the more eccentric we can go with layers and texture. The festive season always calls for fur, lace and all things sparkly but this season it's all about dressing it up for a more sophisticated take on the typical Christmas outfit.

Feathers to me, are one of the easiest ways of doing this. Even though my feather detailing is a lot more subtle than Naomi's incredible, show-stopping cape, it's the delicate nature of feathers that turn even the simplest of t-shirts into classy, night time pieces

I layered this over a black lace dress for totally contrasting textures and colours and the high neck creates another more grown up element to the outfit. To really accentuate the lace sleeves, I chose a neutral coloured fur gilet - another statement yet contrasting texture.

To finish, I went for a wide rim black hat, necklace that could also resemble feathers and buckled boots with gorgeous engraved detailed for extra feminine touches
