Double D - Amy

Mum's Denim Jacket, Topshop Boutique Patchwork Denim Shirt, Topshop Jamie Rip Knee Jeans, Topshop Amelie Stud Boots

After seeing an incredible editorial in Look magazine a couple of weeks ago we were inspired to do a double denim look - a concept that is still going strong and looking better than ever! And even better, is completely wearable through every season (fashion and weather wise).

I am insanely lucky to be shooting this in my pre-pregnancy jeans just 7 weeks after giving birth which leads me to believe there is a God - and their name is Jamie. I have been a huge fan of Topshop's Jamie Jeans for a couple of years now and can appreciate them so much more now I still have a bit of a tum as they actually hold everything in. This black ripped pair had gone down in the Toppers sale and one of the best purchases Ive ever made - so easy to wear with absolutely everything yet the rip means they are bang on for SS14. According to THIS weeks Look, I am not the only one obsessing over these amazing jeans, a tonne of celebs are too and who can blame them?

For this outfit I wore them with my other Topshop love, an item from boutique. Patchwork denim is also set to be a massive hit this season as a fresh way to wear the trend and I added the bleach denim oversized jacket to add another denim wash for interest. The oversized jacket with the heeled boot means the outfit is casual enough for day wear but not too causal - my favourite kind of look.

Double denim has been featured heavily in magazines and websites recently and it's such a great, fresh look for spring and the transitional period. It's an easy look to achieve mixing up denims and textures to create interest and detail. Don't just stick to jeans and shirt you can play around with denim dresses, pinafores or dungarees and layer them up.

For this look I wore a mix of dark denim with Topshop boutique ripped knee jeans and dark denim shirt. I went for a heeled black shoe and clutch to dress up the denim and opting for a white blazer and vintage coat to keep the smart/ casual balance. Be experimental with your layers and textures to create wonderful looks and remain the balance of smart and casual so you look street style chic!

How are you wearing your denim this spring?

Skirting Board - Amy

New Look Boyfriend Coat, New Look Heart Print Shirt, Topshop Aline Gingham Skirt, Boohoo Polka Dot Boots, Satchel c/o Zatchels

Skirts are huge this season - whether it's the full skirt like Naomi blogged about, tube or wrap over style, they all seem to be must haves! but Topshop's Gingham a-line seems to be the most popular of all and I completely get why and cannot stop wearing it!

Gingham and monochrome seem to be having a bit of a moment so this item couldn't be more on trend for SS but it's also a flattering shape and length and practical as it actually has pockets! I also love the fluffy texture for that extra little bit of interest

I decided to take inspiration from Topshop's feminine but quirky trend, 'Kiss Me Margate', but rather than using pastels I wanted to play up the monochrome trend too. The heart print shirt has been another big hit on the high street but thus New Look version is a fraction of the price of its Burberry original and offers a girly print on a boyish shape - the perfect mix.

Yet another key print for KMM is the polka dot and I happen to be in love with both my satchel and my boots so I couldn't resist adding yet another print but breaking them all up with a solid black boyfriend coat and black tights

Heaven Is A Halfpipe - Naomi

Tshirt c/o Bank Fashion, Topman Shirt, Primark Leather Jacket, Topshop Jeans, Topshop Beanie, Topshop Backpack, New Look Boots, mee mee white fishnet top

The Celine and Missoni SS14 collections saw a massive skate influence which has now started to filter down into the high street ready for Spring! Queen Cara being the muse for this trend and how to wear it - casual, cool and confident!

The new Fenchurch tees from Bank fashion fitted this look perfectly with the bright coloured prints and motifs they worked perfectly with my black ripped jeans and a leather jacket. Skate is all about clever layering, casual sweats around your waist and checked shirts under oversized jackets will give that just thrown on kind of look you want to achieve.

I layered my tshirt with checked shirt and leather jacket with my white fishnet top around the waist. Beanies are a must and so is a trusty backpack- mine and Amy's wardrobe essential! You can opt for a trainer or skate shoe but I felt my black cut out boots were more me with this look and they look great with my jeans!

How is Cara influencing your wardrobe this spring- are you skated over by this SS14 trend?

Heaven Is A Halfpipe - Amy

Vintage Denim Jacket via Rokit, Fenchurch Tee c/o Bank Fashion, Topshop Dip Dye Shirt, Topshop Tartan Check Soft Trouser, Topshop Lilac Beanie, Vans Authentic

The skate trend is going to be so big this SS, we couldn't resist doing a second one almost instantly. In contrast to my first look, I wanted this one to be all about the colour, especially those in this amazing t-shirt from the new Fenchurch collection which you can buy here

The colours in the tee take me back to watching the skaters on Venice Beach a few summers ago but with an English January being a far cry from a Californian August, I needed to take on a winter twist to my inspiration so paired the bright summery tee with a pair of warm, burgundy tartan soft trousers and then an oversized jacket to contrast the slim trousers. A shirt around the waist and a beanie are key to this look and what an excuse to dig out one of my 100's of pairs of vans.. Especially as these came to Venice Beach with me!

I am very excited to bring you these photos in the most wonderful 90s inspired pieces you will ever see! I have been a big fan of Gemma Goldstones collection since laying my eyes on it last year and was super excited to shoot a lookbook for her!

The collection is bold, bright and fun and captures all the best bits about the 90s in one collection! I love to leather two pieces, fishnet and of course the mental fur! Infact I love every piece! It was so easy to style as everything goes so well together and could mix and match the pieces. I accessorised using simple headwear such as my beanie, trusty turban and bindis! My argo boots from Topshop went with the collection so well I just couldn't avoid using them with all the looks- good old Topshop!

Hope you like the lookbook and love the product just as much as me! See the link at the top of the post for where to shop the collection!

Amy's Week In Style

Even if my first outfit love is mixing textures, quirky patterns come an incredibly close second and SS14 has some treats for us. Here are some of my faves so far!

Topshop Tile Print Cami
I loved all the tile prints during aw12 and its so nice to see they've returned in a more colourful colour palette for this Spring

Topshop Gingham Dress
Gingham is set to be huge this spring and you can already get hold of everything in this monochromatic pattern from tube skirts to skinny jeans. I have already bought into the must A-line skirt but this dress is just too cute to ignore! And it already comes with a collar, bonus for me!

Topshop Spot T-Shirt
Polka dots never really go out do they? But that iconic Burberry Photo from SS14 fashion week has reinvented the bold spot. If you're after an affordable copy of the white and red shirt check out newlook.co.uk but if you want a brighter and more causal take on the trend I'd go with is amazingly sickly sweet tee

Topshop Palm Print Tee
Modern Hawaiian prints also seem to be everywhere this season and look especially good in pyjama style shapes like playsuits and kimonos. This monochrome tee is more up my street through :)

Asos Scallop Handbag
Scallops might not be a pattern as such but I am still loving them as much as ever. This gorgeous mint bag is perfect for a fresh spring look with a girly feel.

Topshop Rug Print Tube Skirt
I can imagine wearing this with a black cropped tee and chunky cardigan this spring - I also feel like I shouldn't love it, but I do!

The full skirt has made a huge come back this season and there's no suprise why! It looks super chic even paired with a jersey and converse- it's a quick staple piece to guarantee you are on trend and making a statement. It's practicality with the longer length makes it perfect for day wear and I know I will definitely be sporting one at London Fashion Week next month. Look to my images for inspiration you don't have to be a trend follower to wear this look, just be simple and let the skirt do the talking. Team your statement piece with a jersey, cropped jumper and leather jacket for a clean stylish outfit that's SS14 ready. Go for a staple bag and shoe that compliments your look- if you are wearing a jersey tee go for a dressy shoe and clutch to capture the street style vibe and get the smart/casual balance. Key style icons for this look are Alexa Chung and Olivia Palermo who carry of casual chic with a panache so take note girls... The trick is to look effortless!

This is my 2nd look which I was very excited to shoot mainly because of the amazing skirt! The colour is vivid and the shape is really structured which creates impact and it's also a massive bargain! Choies is really good for cheap but on trend pieces and the top is also from there! This look is perfect for dinner or a party being premium, on trend and chic! I accessorised the look with a simple black belt, black patent clutch and a jewelled drop earring. A clean black heel with silver tips and white blazer helped finish the look of perfectly, this look is a perfect transitional outfit from winter to spring- so make sure you invest into a full skirt this spring!

I hope you have enjoyed my 2 full skirt looks this weekend and make sure you enter my Ziba giveaway to win £50 voucher! Details at the top of this post... Good luck!
