Reading List: February

There's only been one thing to cover in February and that is, of course, fashion month. Whilst we wait with anticipation for Paris and Milan, the blogesphere has been covering New York and London in a way that no magazine can. We love the personal touches, honest opinions and the #ootd's that our fellow bloggers have to offer to give a well rounded view and interesting ways to summarise fashion's busiest weeks

These 4 bloggers have got their clothes and coverage spot on in our eyes!

Lindsey - Ropes Of Holland
Cannot wait to have this gorgeous lady down south (at Asos!) in March and it was sooo lovely to get to share some of our own Fashion Week with her. This lucky thing got to spend the day backstage at Felder Felder with Schwarzkopf and got to do some busy filming with them too - check it our on her blog now

Pandora - Pandora Sykes
So. Much. Wardrobe. Envy. This season's best dressed (and EVERY season for that matter) is definitely Pandora Sykes. Asides from the insane outfits, Pandora provided the inside scoop from some of our favourite shows via her instagram page, thanks love :)

Sophie - Fashion Slave
Despite a dissertation deadline, this ladies dedication got her to the cobbles anyway! We have thoroughly enjoyed Sophie's alternative posts including a LFW Checklist and Weird Things I Overheard at LFW

Erika - Retro Flame
We have been avidly following the lovely Erika's NYC journey ever since she hit the states and her NYFW outfits have been exceptional, and even weather appropriate!

Who do you rely on for your fashion week coverage? and who's had your best dressed gong this season?

Great start with the most amazing relaxed monochrome tailoring and huge Mongolian furs.

Bora Aksu
All the elegant textures we would have expected, gorgeous detailing and floaty fabrics and a special appearance on the catwalk from Laura Whitmore!

Fyodor Golan
The collection was based on My Little Pony so of course lot's of bright colours and prints, floaty shapes and heavy sequins, we loved the patent boots!

Our most favourite of the weekend! This library inspired presentation was full of 60's prints and epic collars - heaven

Sibling

Danielle Romeril
A newbie designer thats certainly here to stay - loved the cloggs and heavy layering.

David Koma
A colour palette of orange, blue and black with lot's of cut out detailing, leather panelling and heavy embellishment in the bright blue and orange.

Sophia Webster
One of our favourite presentations! A circus themed presentation with lot's of unusual displays and of course amazing shoes!

Aspinal x Etre Cecile

We are so excited for this amazing collaboration to launch - the perfect combination of 2 of our favourite brands with the traditional Aspinal shapes in bright bold designs.

Toga
The most incredible layers or check, knits and shearling

Temperley
One of the most beautiful shows of LFW. Gorgeous world prints, unusual textures and floaty shapes, well done Temperley!

Belstaff
A very wearable and relatable collection with amazing parkas, fur and a overall aviation theme running through the collection. Loved the clean layering and styling.

Michael Van Der Ham
Was so amazing to finish off the weekend in the incredible Topshop show space with the gold leaf grey coat being our favourite item seen over the week!

Our third and final day on the Somerset House cobbles was definitely our busiest! Naomi was infront of the camera with Yahoo!'s Girls On The Ground team whilst Amy nipped off around London catching other presentations.

The second we saw these amazing Topshop fedoras, we knew they needed to be the base of one of our outfits. You know we love a good bit of headwear and the same but different aspect to these babies sums up our coordination. It also gave us lots of freedom as to what to wear with them! We naturally went for a retro feel with a warm autmnal colour palettes.

Which of our LFW looks was your favourite? We hope you all loved them as much as we loved wearing them - Here's to another season!

London Fashion Week AW15 - Day 2

Amy - Camel Sleeveless Coat c/o Missguided, Green Blazer c/o Dorothy Perkins, Topshop Pleat Bib Shirt, River Island Trousers, Ray Ban Glasses c/o Red Hot Sunglasses, Boohoo Clutch Bag, Topshop Unique Loafers

Naomi - Khloe Coat c/o Missguided, Velvet Cave Snakeskin Waistcoat, H&M Roll Neck, River Island Shorts, Asos Green Hat, Chloe Sunglasses c/o Red Hot Sunglasses, Mango Star Clutch Bag, Snakeskin Boots c/o Daniel Footwear

For Day 2 at London Fashion Week, we based our outfits around this amazing River Island abstract print. Being bright and appealing to both our personal styles, there was lots of colours and key pieces to play around with. We both rocked our Missguided Khloe coats and then gave our own twists with the rest of the looks - Amy going for a tailored blouse and blazer whilst Naomi went for clashing stars and snakeskin,

Quite a quiet day on the cobbles for us kicking off the day at Orla Kiely (potential favourite!) and then Hemcya, Sibling and Danielle Romeril Presentation.
