Check Mate - Naomi

Sister Jane Checked Suit, Sister Jane Victorian blouse, Forever21 sunnies, clutch bag gift, New Look Chain Leather Shoes

Visit Sister Jane HERE

This suit is part of the Sister Jane AW13  collection 'Mother Universe' that launches in a few weeks and is right up TSOP street! When I saw it in the showroom I couldn't wait to shoot it and show you guys just how amazing it is exclusively before it launches.

The collection launches in stores mid-October. Sister Jane is retailed at Topshop, Asos, Urban Outfitters US, and over 50 independent boutiques worldwide. You can also find Sister Jane online on their website, or at their flagship store in Notting Hill, London. Celebrity fans of the brand include Paloma Faith and Florence Welch.

We felt like these items were  made for us! I have been longing for a tartan suit since the one in Topshop came out and Amy loves a cute little dress with a collar which was perfect for her bump.

What I loved about the tartan suit is it had a longer length blazer that buttoned up, I felt this flattered my shape perfectly and made me feel alot more confident highlighting my waist and slimming my thighs.
The Victorian blouse is perfect to sit under the blazer with the gorgeous detail on show. The blouse felt luxurious and made to last unlike the ones you usually buy and a few wears later have pulls and are mishaped.

I felt the look didn't need accessorising with jewellery but a wonderful shoe from
New look which have been an amazing buy, the silver chain detailing on them worked perfectly and added an edge. We shot this on payday so I went for a cheeky shop before to pick up these a-mazing studded cat eye glasses! They balanced the silver from
My shoes down to a tee and added the 'Naomi' stamp on this look which is always necessary! Last but not least the clutch which I have had for years but felt worked with the suit perfectly whilst still being a subtle black clutch.

What do you think about the AW13 sister Jane collection? We hope you love it as much as us!

F&F Denim Style Challenge - Amy

Denim Jacket c/o F&F, H&M Striped Roll Neck, PU Panel Tube Skirt c/o F&F, Urban Outfitters Rupert The Bear Scarf, Black Rucksack c/o F&F, Topshop Burgundy Astrix Boots

Last week, TSOP were invited to take part in a denim challenge set by F&F for Tesco. Denim is such an essential part of any girls wardrobe but neither me or Naomi are dependent on jeans and much prefer relying on our staple denim pieces in the form of jackets and shirts which are equally as practical and versatile as the leg wear. We were given £75 between the two of us to put together outfits, which averaging at £37.50 is a more than affordable way of getting some basics into your wardrobe that can be dressed up or down, at all times of year.

This cropped denim jacket is flattering due to where it cuts in and it's darker shade of denim makes it perfect for autumn. I wanted to make the denim the centre of this outfit so stuck with monochrome for the rest of the main pieces with simple detailing of stripes, a roll neck collar and the PU strip down the side of the tube skirt. To brighten the outfit up though I accessorised using autumnal colours of mustard and burgundy - also keeping it look younger and more modern than if I'd used more classic shaped and coloured accessories.

How are you wearing your denim this Autumn?

F&F Denim Style Challenge - Naomi

F&F Denim Shirt, F&F Checked Skirt, F&F Black Rucksack, Warehouse Checked Cape, Topshop Argo Boots, Vintage Belt

Visit Clothing At Tesco HERE

Last week we were asked to take part in a competition for F&F Clothing At Tesco. We were given a £75 Voucher to buy some items each including a denim item. Denim is a staple piece in every girls wardrobe and for Amy and myself its all about denim jackets, shorts and shirts.

We love a good style challenge so were really excited to get on board with this and create some cool outfits. I went for a classic F&F dark denim shirt which is a core denim piece that goes with literally everything! Of course with my latest tartan obsession I fell in love with this cute little checked skirt also from F&F which I know I will be wearing lots over AW! It's bang on trend and will look great with a cropped jumper in a clueless 90s look! As you know we both are huge fans of our trusty black rucksacks so we ordered this F&F black rucksack which worked great with both of our outfits.

I liked this look really clean and thought my checked grey cape from Warehouse worked perfectly clashing up the checks In the skirt and cape but in a subtle way. I liked the contrast of the denim shirt against the grey wool coat and love that the denim sleeves show! I felt like a black skinny belt and the rucksack were enough to accessorise this look especially with my killer Buckle boots from Topshop.

What do you think of my denim AW look and how will you be styling your denim pieces up for the season ahead? Be sure to visit Clothing At Tesco to get some fab denim pieces at great prices!

Naomi's Week In Style

I am loving the winter pastels at the moment and especially where the weather has still been quite mild it's a great look for the transitional time with some wonderful pieces coming through on the high street! Of course me being the magpie that I am I have thrown in some metallic and shiny wonderfulness which I do hope you enjoy!

1. Topshop Blue Fur Stole

Drooling over this fur scarf, how stunning is the colour!!! It would look absolutely amazing with the silver metallic tee (number 3) I think it's a perfect update for your standard black or brown fur scarf.

2. Topshop Boutique Floral Dress

This print is perfect for the winter florals trend and has been featured a lot on celebs and fashionistas alike at LFW! Amy and myself have a soft spot for Boutique and find the fit and material are always worth paying that little bit more for. A definite investment piece!

3. Topshop Metallic Tee

This is quite an old piece but I think it will be great to team with a pastel midi skirt an give an edge to the AW pastel trends. Also I love metallic silver with coloured fur.. Heavenly!

4. Topshop Boutique Pink Dress

A perfect dress to throw on, look on trend and carry you through from day to night. Team with killer boots and statement jewellery to stand out from the crowd or pull of a tonal pink look by throwing on a pastel pink winter coat.

5. Bill & Mar Marble Maxi

This dress is stunning and was recently spotted on Rita Ora! I love the print and colours and think it will look amazing with some statement jewellery. A great maxi for every season and a great buy.

6. Boohoo White Net Midi Skirt

I fell in love with this as soon as I saw it and think it will be great teamed with knitwear and fur with some grungy boots for the whole pretty grunge look. As usual with Boohoo great product at great prices!

7. Topshop Metallic Flats

A gorgeous update for your standard black or brown flats! Give a modern twist to any outfit and your feet will be the shiniest exclamation point of your outfit! Match accessories with a silver clutch and necklace!

8. Zara Statement Necklace

I love a statement necklace and have started collecting Zara's every season. This season has t disappointed with the necklaces and jewels bigger than ever! I thought this looked great with all the colours in the post and perfect for a tonal pink outfit to add a bit of bling.

9. Zara Pink Coat

Everyone has gone nuts for pink coats and literally they have been flying off the high street! Everyone is doing there own version and my favourite is the classic Zara one. I think if your investing in a winter coat you should invest well and spend a bit more for the quality and warmth to ensure it will last you season after season and still look great. The style is classic and long which I think will look amazing over my winter outfits.

Double Trouble - Amy

Primark Denim Shearling Lined Jacket, Topshop Gold Bead Jumper, Topshop Check Shirt, Topshopn Tartan Check Tube Skirt, Topshop Circular Sunglasses, Topshop Rucksack, Heeled Chelsea Boots c/o Designers at Debehnams

Ok, we admit it - we have a tartan addiction. There is something about this print that has us both going crazy this AW and I thought I'd been bad the last few years! It's so wearable and on trend it's impossible not to find something in this cute and classic print, it just so happens we want it all!

Inspired by the Punk move on from the This Is England trend, other than the tartan, I wanted my outfit to be focused around this amazing denim jacket. I love a good denim jacket, especially a vintage one, but I love the shearling versions around as a winter alternative. I was lucky enough to pick this up in Primark for a bargain £15 about 3 or 4 years ago! And it still comes out around this time every year :)

This must have skirt from topshop has flown out of stores - 6 of my gorgeous team have been styling it up in their own way proving just how versatile such a statement piece can be! At £22, this is the most perfectly affordable and easy way to jump on the tartan band wagon!

Because one piece of tartan wasn't enough, I teamed the skirt with a tartan shirt and then finished off with this black gold beaded jumper to add to the more classy punk influence.

Double Trouble - Naomi

c/o Boohoo Leopard Rollneck, Mee Mee Net Top, c/o Boohoo Boutique Kilt, Primark White Satchel, Primark White Sunnies, H&M Silver Chain, c/o New Look Shoes, Topshop Premium Studded Jacket, Primark Silver Rings, Topman Checked Shirt

We seem to have caught the tartan bug and can't get enough of this seasons hottest print! Since punk has started to heavily come through on the high street things have gone up a notch with double tartan taking centre stage! Whether its full on clash or simply a tartan shirt tied around a tartan skirt, make sure your not left out in the cold with this seasons hottest trend.

As usual I was pretty experimental with my look and played around with texture and print. Going for a darker, more punk version of tartan in line with the trends. I layered my Mee Mee cropped net top under my leopard print roll neck and tucked into my Boohoo Boutique kilt it worked perfectly. A heavy leather jacket always toughens the look up especially with the killer studs! To lighten the look I went for my white satchel and white round sunnies so I didn't look like a full on goth! Simple silver detailing on the chain and on my new shoes from New Look which I absolutely love was just enough accessorising for a busy look.

How will you be adapting double tartan into your wardrobe for AW?

Power To The PU - Naomi

c/o Boohoo Caged Bralet, c/o Miss Guided Trousers, Topshop White Blazer, Zara Holographic Clutch, Topshop Premium Necklace, C/o Designers At Debenhams Faith Boots, Choies Sunglasses

Now and then it's nice to strip everything back to basics and wear a clean monochrome look and since getting these Miss Guided PU Joggers I have been really digging the sports luxe vibe.

The Alexander Wang inspired Joggers have taken over the high street with Topshop Boutique, Rihanna for River Island and even Primark doing there own version of this seasons favourite trouser. Usually I wouldn't be caught dead in a jogger but I absolutely love the premium outfits you can create with them and I found with the high Waist and tailored shape they are unbelievably flattering on my legs- which I'm all for.

For this look I wanted a clean, sports luxe look so I teamed my Boohoo caged Bralet with the trousers and my white blazer from Toshop over my shoulders. I focused on silver metallic accessories with my Topshop premium silver necklace, Zara holographic clutch and a deep purple lipstick. I have grown fond of a slicked back pony tail especially when wearing a statement necklace and lip colour. I find it focuses on my outfit and looks premium and tailored (although I can only do it when I'm having a good face day!)

This is the 2nd look with the Debenhams shoes we were sent and I think the Faith numbers work perfect with the sporty look! They look great with the shape of the Joggers and the white piping and lace up front gives the sporty look a really nice finish.

What sport silhouettes have you introduced into your wardrobe for AW13?
