Femme Fatale - Amy

Primark PU Biker Jacket, Topshop Oversized Grey Check Shirt, Topshop Boutique Jersey Dress, Primark Lace Cami, Primark Pink Fur Stole, Primark Jewel Necklace, Topshop Heart Patterned Tights, Topshop April Chelsea Boot

It was amazing to shoot with Naomi again! I was obviously a little over excited as I haven't had this many elements to an outfit in so long.

Topshop have launched new trend 'Chateau Femme' and this outfit was based on the key pieces for this :) I am obsessed with this Topshop Boutique Jersey Dress at the moment! I've actually worn it backwards to make the most of the wrap over detail and its the pyjama influences from the trend that meant the silk and lace cami was perfect to go underneath.

For a dressed up look with overly girly touches, I went for a light pink fur stole, jewel necklace and heart design tights but to tone it down into more of a day outfit, I went for a neutral coloured check shirt, leather jacket and flat black boots :)

Birds Of A Feather - Amy

Boohoo Black Wide Rim Hat, New Look Fur Gilet, Topshop Pale Pink Feather T-Shirt, Topshop High Neck Paisley Lace Dress, Topshop Ant Boots

This is why I love AW dressing so much better than SS - the colder it gets, the more eccentric we can go with layers and texture. The festive season always calls for fur, lace and all things sparkly but this season it's all about dressing it up for a more sophisticated take on the typical Christmas outfit.

Feathers to me, are one of the easiest ways of doing this. Even though my feather detailing is a lot more subtle than Naomi's incredible, show-stopping cape, it's the delicate nature of feathers that turn even the simplest of t-shirts into classy, night time pieces

I layered this over a black lace dress for totally contrasting textures and colours and the high neck creates another more grown up element to the outfit. To really accentuate the lace sleeves, I chose a neutral coloured fur gilet - another statement yet contrasting texture.

To finish, I went for a wide rim black hat, necklace that could also resemble feathers and buckled boots with gorgeous engraved detailed for extra feminine touches

Matchmakers - Amy

Topshop Check Coat, Zara Check Dress, H&M Black Roll Neck Top, Topshop Sunglasses, Vintage Bag via Notting Hill Market, Topshop Amelie Boots

Just when I convince myself I do not need any more check or tartan based pieces of clothing, Topshop go and do this to me! I usually refrain from buying statement coats as colours and patterns can lower the versatility which in turn usually means a worse price to wear ratio but I couldn't resist this beauty, and with clashing checks still going strong this Autumn, I haven't had a problem with finding enough outfits to go with it :)

My favourite piece to wear with this coat though is definitely my Zara check dress, with similar colours, textures and ovid shapes, this Celine inspired outfit is a sleeker way of doing mad and matches enough without it being a two piece

With two massive statement pieces, I wanted to use very subtle added extras in outfit. I wore a black, long sleeve roll neck under the dress (for warmth mainly!) but with the circular sunnies to create a real 60's vibe to the outfit and stuck to a little black bag and black heeled boots to finish

You're A Virgin Who Can't Drive - Amy

Primark Pleather Jacket, Vintage Check Smock Dress c/o Loving Youth, Urban Outfitters Rupert Check Scarf, Topshop Gold Buckle Belt, Black Rucksack, Topshop Avenger Boots

If there has been any style inspiration for the checked, girly trend this season it's been Cher from cult classic film, clueless. Cher's love for fashion has been catterpolted into 2013 in the form of berets, check 2 pieces and knee high socks this season

We've been planning this post a while, but nothing I seemed to have in mind seemed to work with my growing figure so I'm glad we held off until I was sent this absolute beauty of a dress from Loving Youth vintage. It is the perfect 90s check I'd been hunting for yet still modern looking and modest. Taking style inspiration straight from the film itself, I went straight for the white pointed collar underneath it.

I wanted to get the 90s grunge vibe into the outfit as I felt that worked best with how I'd usually wear the dress so went for the exaggerated shoulder leather, rupert bear scarf, little rucksack and chunky leather boots to finish off. The gold detailing on the belt and rucksack matched in with the scarf for the perfect finishing touch

All That Glitters - Amy

Primark Sequin Jumper, Topshop Sequin Blouse, Primark Tube Skirt, Topshop Glitter Ankle Socks, Topshop Artist Velvet Lace Up Boot

Mid autumn - dark mornings, dark evening, glitzy wardrobe. It's always this time of year where we start to see the festive sparkle start to hit the high street and what better than a sequin or two to lighten up your life

It is however getting colder so it seemed perfect to get my glitz out in the form of knitwear and layering. This bargain jumper from primarni is the perfect autumn item without feeling too festive too early and mixing this stunning sequin collar and cuff blouse with a knit makes it feel a lot less dressy

I matched the purple skirt with the colours of sequin on the jumper, the same with the blue in the shoes but the velvet adds that extra little bit of rich texture. I finished off with some little glittery ankle socks

You Can't Ghoul Me - Amy

Boohoo Sleeveless Leather Jacket, Topshop Horror Motif T Shirt, H&M Stripe Roll Neck, Primark Velvet Bodycon Skirt, Boohoo Wide Rim Hat, Ziba Necklaces c/o Mad PR, Betty Jackson Heeled Chelsea Boots c/o Designers at Debehnams

With Halloween fast approaching it seems were not the only ones who are giving our wardrobes a spooky make over as topshop have launched seasonal trend 'ghoul girl' this week. Find everything from feathered capes and bat maxi dresses to daring two pieces and lime green cat ears for your perfect fashion fright!

Sadly, I'm getting to the stage where I can fit into very little new pieces to made do with last years offering of this 'horror' tee. Taking inspiration from pugsley Addams, I layered it over my striped roll neck top from h and m and then mixed in different textures with the velvet skirt and sleeveless leather jacket

To finish, I wanted to go with tough silver jewellery to exaggerate the neck detail, shadowing head wear and a clean and simple heeled black boot :)

ASOS FF Collaboration: If You've Got It, Haunt It - Amy

'This post is number 5 of 5 in a special series we have done for Asos Fashion Finder on why the pink coat is most definitely this AW13's essential purchase by showing you how it can be worn with literally every other trend around this season'

Sparkle And Fade Coat c/o Urban Outfitters, J W Anderson for Topshop Knitted Bat Jumper, Marks and Spencer's White Shirt, Topshop Black Tulle Ballerina Dress, Topshop Fur Bobble Beanie, H&M Black Fur Stole, Topshop Avenger Boots

Any 'holiday' is an excuse to dress up and just because its Halloween, it doesn't always just mean fancy dress! For our 5th and final look for Asos, we wanted to do something seasonal but also something fun so seeing as it was October, it made sense to get into the spirit of things (ahem)

For my centre piece, it had to be this iconic jumper by J W Anderson for Topshop. His ghoulish knitwear caused quite a stir last autumn selling faster than it took for them to even arrive instore! So it's good to see it can be revived every October :)

I wanted to keep the outfit monochrome like the jumper so went for a white, sharp collar and then went for the slightly witch, black ballerina dress with the tulle detailing for texture
