You probably know by now how obsessed we were with the Henry Holland full on flower power dream that was the SS15 collection! The bright acid clashing florals, messy hair and glitter lids had me swooning hard so we thought let's get busy and re-create the look with cheaper alternatives!

I invested in this ASOS Acid floral dress recently and I absolutely LOVE it, I am waiting for a good old party to wear it to, I am very excited to bring it out for this post. I styled it with a clashing floral vintage 70s shirt from Beyond Retro which has the most AH-mazing collar! Then for accessories I went for my new DP sunnies, favourite Skinny Dip embellished box clutch which worked with the prints perfectly. I focused on my feet detail to for this post so dark pink glittery socks from Topshop gave my Orla Kiely beauties a little sparkly makeover!

It's not very often we bag a complete bargain, but when the absolutely beautiful Topshop Boutique Fable Print pieces went into the sale, we couldn't resist snapping them up! I am a massive fan of boutique when it comes to a little indulgent shopping and this floral collection has been one of my favourite's in a long while with it's current yet timeless feel.

I went for a signature look, with the t-shirt dress and collar combo, but layered my suede jacket over it for a real SS15 look (it helps that it goes with absolutely everything!)

New season collections are coming thick and fast and one of my favourite brands have got it spot on again. Another 8 London were one of my great finds of 2014 and their urban East London designs are always exciting and yet so easy to wear day-to-day, exactly how I like my fashion.

Another 8's graffiti floral print has that hint of Henry Holland but with a much more modern edge to it. I am loving anything bright at the moment to cheer up dreary January but keeping it parred down with pastels and a longline tailored boyfriend coat (which I managed to bag insanely cheap on ebay!) This is pretty much my go to outfit template for the upcoming transitional period!

It is no secret that our favourite show from London Fashion Week was the flower power extravaganza from House Of Holland and there was no way we were waiting til next Spring to give the trend a whirl. To be honest, it was lovely to break up the heavy coats and faux furs with something a little more suited to this dragged out summer and get the last of the brights in before everything comes a bit bleak.

I love buying new clothes, but there is no joy like realising that holding on to 'that' item has actually paid off and it once again becomes part of the A list in your wardrobe. This dress was bought during my first ever Toppers job and despite having hundreds of dresses like this, it's always been one I couldn't let go of. The cartoon-esque florals are like nothing I've really seen again making it a fabulously fun summer staple. Naomi kindly found me the most perfect shirt everrr to go underneath it - it's like the colours were made for each other in this combo? and the paisley is another heavy influence from HOH. 

With such a heavy pattern clash, I wanted to finish off with block colour pieces that still worked with the main colours in the dress. The duster and fur texture from the clutch add the right amount of Autumnal flavour to the outfit making it really wearable now and in the earlyish days of next Spring.

As fashion weeks draw to a close we reflect on the shows we loved and the looks we need. A definite influence for me was the House Of Holland SS15 show with full on flower power and 60s vibe which I just absolutely loved! Luckily I got to see the show at LFW this year and it just completely blew me away! Working in vintage I knew it was a look I could easily recreate in a AW spin on my favourite collection. 

60s prints are so bright and playful and I couldn't resist clashing patterns with this amazing maxi dress and gorgeous 60s coat both from Beyond Retro. I love how the prints work together so well in such a fun way. I went for black rings and black patent boots from Deichmann which are super comfy and look great for AW with any look. The little suede bag finished of the look with a 60s feel. This look shows you can recreate elements of the catwalk so easily in your own style, so get creative and be confident in your dressing!
