Lindsey Lohan has just launched an exciting collection with one of our fav brands Lavish Alice for a cool collection full of tassles and bohemian influenced pieces. I was naturally attracted to this amazing co-ord with fringed trims, perfect for dancing! Did you catch Amy's post yesterday where she is styling the dress version?

I styled the look in a transitional way with long suede boots and a vintage cape from Beyond Retro with a gorgeous all over navajo print. This co-ord is perfect to dress up or down and I love all the tassle details, it's perfect to wear together or seperately.

Lindsey Lohan x Lavish Alice Tassle Tunic, Topshop Houndstooth Trousers, Ray Ban Sunglasses, Zara Bag, Topshop Shoes

We love a good celebrity collab and were super excited to hear that no other than Lindsey Lohan had joined forces with one of our favourite brands Lavish Alice for a beautiful moden bohemian collection this Autumn, The pieces boast the ultimate statements with slick stripes and cool coords, but our favourite being these amazing statement tassles, the perfect piece for day-to-night dressing.

For my 'day' look, I layered the block coloured tunic over printed trousers (cannot get enough of dogtooth atm!) which works so perfectly in this transitional weather and went for a statement red bag to add colour and vibrance to the look. At night time, it is so easy to switch from trousers to tights for a super easy yet sexyyy outfit for a date night, drinks or a dance!!

Who's been your favourite celeb collab to date? After this collection, LL x LA is certainly a contender!

Trend Inspo: Back To School

How on earth is it that time of year again already? The end of August is fast approaching so what better excuse to treat yourself to a few new bits and bobs for a fresh start this season! Not that we ever need an excuse for new stationery... So here's what we'll be taking back to school!

There is nothing like a bit of colour to motivate and inspire me and that has been the main theme behind our choices this AW15! That, and cute and quirky pieces like the lipstick marker pens and pretty bow paperclips - every girl's stationery dream! We love the smart and slick yet retro vibes to the blazer, bag and watch and going bright and bold with a jazzy new phone case and all important journal (hopefully that'll make them harder to misplace, oops!)

This time of year I get so excited for AW trends and planning for the season ahead. We found the latest ASOS Magazine so inspirational for AW15 trends and couldn't wait to get stuck in. One trend that stood out as a favourite was definitely the shade of the season ahead, brown! Seen everywhere with the latest 70s obsession and bits have started coming through thick and fast on the high street.

I picked up a few new bits from Zara which worked perfectly for the brown trend which were this amazing high neck top which is perfect for autumnal layering and this amazing striped pleated skirt, both Zara! I thought it looked great teamed with my favourite ASOS Suede jacket for that perfect retro 70s edge. Finishing of with a cute brown bag from Smashglam and my favourite Orla heels.

Wha' are you most excited about for AW15?

Orla Kiely x Uniqlo Heattech Top, Topshop Cord Dress, Marc Jacobs Sunglasses c/o Red Hot Sunglasses, Vintage Bag, Clarks x Orla Kiely Bibi Shoes

Nothing else says new season more than warming autumnal colour palettes and brown seems to be having a moment this year. Camels and tans still feature heavily on the high street but mixed with darker rusts and chestnut tones in thick textures like suedes and cords which are just perfect for exciting layering.

For this tonal outfit, I decided to pick one print and one texture to pull together to give each maximum impact in the outfit. This Topshop cord dress is spot on for transitioning weather/wardrobes working with t-shirts under, jumpers over or simply on it's own. With the cord as a base, I added my Orla roll neck underneath to add hints of other colours to break up the look. With a strong Orla vibe already occuring, I had to go with my one brown pair of shoes, my Bibi's, which work perfectly for an ultra feminine look which compliments the brownie colour palette

Will you brave the brown this season?

Vintage Zig Zag 70s Top & Vintage Boots

c/o Free People Hat
c/o Smashglam Tan Fringe Bag

AW15 is coming fast and key 70s prints are everywhere. We picked out the iconic 70s zig zag print to style up in our latest post and it's perfect for transitional dressing. I found this amazing vintage M&S top in a charity shop recently and fell in love with the big sleeves and all over zig zag print.

I styled it up with my new Zara denim skirt which I picked up in the sale for just £15! A great piece to style in a 70s way with my favourite boots and a skinny scarf. The weather has started to dip slightly so transitional pieces are great to have for when theres a slightly colder day, whether it's eager or just super keen we could not be more excited for AW15 dressing!
