You See Your Gypsy - Amy

Glamorous Suedette Coat c/o Ark Clothing, Gypsy Top c/o Dorothy Perkins, Topshop Denim Skirt, Ray Ban Sunglasses, Clarks Orla Abigail Shoes

As we're not quite ready to get rid of summer just yet, we've been finding ways to get our favourite SS15 pieces into our winter wardrobes, most notably our bohemian tees. Lucky for us, the seventies trend shows no sign of wavering in the upcoming season and it's just a case of layering for whatever the weather may be!

I promised myself I'd resist the outerwear this season and then Glamorous go and bring out this beauty and I couldn't keep my mitts off it! It is so warm and snuggly I am already looking forward to winter walks, PSL in hand, wrapped up in this coat! This thrown over my favourite summer outfit was the easiest seasonal wardrobe change ever and works perfectly!

To give the outfit another transitional twist, I added tights (wah!) and my new babies from the latest, and last, Orla Kiely X Clarks collab! And what a finale! The final collection went on sale on Friday and it's safe to say I need them all!

How are you transitioning your summer pieces into the new season?

Brownie Points - Amy

Orla Kiely x Uniqlo Heattech Top, Topshop Cord Dress, Marc Jacobs Sunglasses c/o Red Hot Sunglasses, Vintage Bag, Clarks x Orla Kiely Bibi Shoes

Nothing else says new season more than warming autumnal colour palettes and brown seems to be having a moment this year. Camels and tans still feature heavily on the high street but mixed with darker rusts and chestnut tones in thick textures like suedes and cords which are just perfect for exciting layering.

For this tonal outfit, I decided to pick one print and one texture to pull together to give each maximum impact in the outfit. This Topshop cord dress is spot on for transitioning weather/wardrobes working with t-shirts under, jumpers over or simply on it's own. With the cord as a base, I added my Orla roll neck underneath to add hints of other colours to break up the look. With a strong Orla vibe already occuring, I had to go with my one brown pair of shoes, my Bibi's, which work perfectly for an ultra feminine look which compliments the brownie colour palette

Will you brave the brown this season?

The Girl Next Door - Amy

Blue Coat, Grey Roll Neck Sweater, Black Fluffy Bag and Black Knee High Boots c/o Next, Ray Ban Wayfarers, Asos Fur Stole, Debenhams Faux Leather Skirt

When I was a little girl, one of my favourite memories was the excitement of finding the new Next Diectory on the doorstep. I would then sit and circle all the things I liked in the hope that mumma would take note (she always did) and since I have been back at home, I have found great pleasure in returning to my old habits. Next's Winter Collection dropped just last week and it is safe to say a lot of has gone on my wishlist!

I can't quite believe it is 'mid-season' already but with the cold finally setting in I am wasting no time in getting the wear out of all my 'Autum' wardrobe before winter really kicks in and the new Next collection boasts these relevant transitional pieces - my absolute favourite being this grey roll neck sweatshirt which I have barely taken off since I got it! It is the perfect match to any plain black bottom half but because of it's modern 60's vibe, I love playing on this and wearing it with a mini skirt and knee high boots for the ultimate casual and cool day-time outfit.

Now I can finally start wearing my coats, I am wanting to make a real statement with them so pairing a monochrome outfit with block coloured outerwear is the best way to do this. This tailored baby blue number is so warm but not too heavy and a big nod to the winter pastels trend that is everywhere at the moment but I wanted to finish the look off with more monochrome fur so give that real cosy feel to the look.

There is a reason why Next have been one of the high street's most loved brands for so many years and their affordable and easy-to-wear pieces are going from strength to strength - Which is your favourite from the next collection?

Let Me Be Your Fantasy - Amy

H&M Coat, Topshop Pearl Sweatshirt, H&M Roll Neck, Topshop Jamie Jeans, Asos Fantasy Fur Scarf, Ray Ban Wayfarer, Topshop Fur Clutch, Boots c/o Daniel Footwear

You may have seen in my Monthly Must Haves post a couple of days ago that I am currently trying to deal with a bit of a faux fur addiction and not even this ridiculously warm weather is going to stop me from styling up these amazing pieces! 'Fantasy Fur' in particular is set to be a huge trend for this Autumn/Winter so with this, we wanted to bring you some fantasy-inspired looks to go with our favourite Asos furs. Naomi's Queen's coat looked so elegant and er, Queen-like, I wanted to go in the opposite direction and go with a darker/more of a 'baddy' look,

This is mainly because I am dying to share this STEAL of a coat from H&M which is only £24.99 - I don't really know how as it looks so much more expensive than it is, the shape and material are just perfect. I then layered different black and grey textures so the scarf could be a real focal point but then I couldn't help finishing the look of with this sickly sweet clutch.

Are you embracing all the coloured furs around at the moment? Don't expect these to be the last posts from us, we are well and truly bewitched.

Rumours - Amy

H&M Furry Gilet, H&M Duster Coat, Topshop Folk Coord (Shirt and Shorts), Pretty Little Thing Fedora, Ray Ban Clubmasters c/o Red Hot Sunglasses, Necklace c/o Lucet Mundi, Primark Bag, Topshop Velvet Boots

Bestival last weekend signalled the end of festival season but it seems that the folk-y feel to the summer's  favourite looks is coming through into AW too. What better excuse do you need to layer up all sorts of patterns, prints and textures? Even in these ever-changing temperatures, this is the perfect transitional trend by wearing as much, or as little, as the weird weather allows.

Naomi is the queen of the this trend and has that amazing ability to match all kinds of crazy pieces and makes them work! but for those of you not so brave, a statement printed coord is the perfect way to go about this. The folk print on this shirt and shorts combo couldn't be better for this kind of look and the 'ginger' tones just scream warm, autumnal afternoons. It may be warm enough to wear shorts without tights (just) but it isn't so warm that I feel naughty for getting my furs out already! I just can't wait to get cosy in all the new stoles and coat I've got lined up but this gilet is spot on whilst I wait for winter.
