Let Me Be Your Fantasy - Amy

H&M Coat, Topshop Pearl Sweatshirt, H&M Roll Neck, Topshop Jamie Jeans, Asos Fantasy Fur Scarf, Ray Ban Wayfarer, Topshop Fur Clutch, Boots c/o Daniel Footwear

You may have seen in my Monthly Must Haves post a couple of days ago that I am currently trying to deal with a bit of a faux fur addiction and not even this ridiculously warm weather is going to stop me from styling up these amazing pieces! 'Fantasy Fur' in particular is set to be a huge trend for this Autumn/Winter so with this, we wanted to bring you some fantasy-inspired looks to go with our favourite Asos furs. Naomi's Queen's coat looked so elegant and er, Queen-like, I wanted to go in the opposite direction and go with a darker/more of a 'baddy' look,

This is mainly because I am dying to share this STEAL of a coat from H&M which is only £24.99 - I don't really know how as it looks so much more expensive than it is, the shape and material are just perfect. I then layered different black and grey textures so the scarf could be a real focal point but then I couldn't help finishing the look of with this sickly sweet clutch.

Are you embracing all the coloured furs around at the moment? Don't expect these to be the last posts from us, we are well and truly bewitched.

With colder months ahead it’s time to invest in the furriest, cosiest and softest accessories to jazz up your wardrobe. ASOS are absolutely killing it with there fur scarfs so far this season which prompted us to to a ‘fantasy fur’ post styling up our new favourite accessories!

This was actually one of my outfits meant for LFW, but with the sweltering weather it caused for a major outfit rethink and I couldn’t wait for an excuse to shoot this look! This coat called the ‘Queens Coat’ by of course Alice + Olivia actually made me feel like a queen! The way it glides when you walk and she sheer heavy-ness of the coat itself is amazing and I thought it looked perfect over my new Coast Co-ord which is son trend for the AW trend ‘Shadow Play’

I haven’t took this fur of since purchasing last month and keep hiding the fact it’s still too hot to wear it! I absolutely love the thickness of it, quality of the faux fur and the gorgeous stripes of colour running through it. I accessorised the look with my amazing cat eye sunnies from Red Hot Sunglasses which i’m sure you guys saw lot’s at LFW and my Urban Outfitters pony boots which always add a nice edge with a cheeky black clutch from Boohoo.

How are you injecting fantasy fur into your AW wardrobe?

Monthly Must Haves (September) - Naomi

With colder mornings and darker nights creeping up on us, it’s time to embrace all the warm and cosy things for AW and do my favourite thing ever ‘layering’ The high street is full of amazing boots, coats and all things AW at the moment so get investing in those statement pieces and get ahead of my favourite season!

I love Moxham and there new collection is amazing. I particularly love this black necklace and think it will look great with knits and leather.

I absolutely love the shape of this long length poncho knit from Next, there new AW collection is amazing with a great range of knits and coats to suit everyone,

My H&M fringed jacket I brought for £35 is sadly coming to the end of it’s life (a very good one at that!) I think it’s time to upgrade and this Zara one is definitely the answer!

Chunky black boots are the best thing since sliced bread and something Amy and myself share a mutual love for. I love the chunky platforms and lots of detailing so these croc platform boots from River Island of course got my attention….KILLER!

I love slips and think they are the perfect layering piece! I couldn’t help but fall in love with this Free People Burgundy one - how amazing will it look with boots, an oversized knit and big hat?!

I keep seeing these cool hair hoops on people around London and I’m so glad I have come across them! I think they are such nice details with a bit of an edge. I really like it when I see them woven into plaits.

What’s a monthly must have post without some Alice + Olivia?! As you all know i’m a massive fan and aspire to have my whole wardrobe from there in a few years (a girl should be so lucky!) For now it’s on my wish list so I can admire it. I love feather skirts and have always wanted one, this one beats them all. It’s simple but beautiful and would look great just teamed with a simple tee.

Blanket capes are heading into world domination this season and I am pleased to say I wore it last fashion week (ahead of the game?) I got one from Boohoo last season and have worn it to death, I really like the thickness and print on this ASOS one and think it will look perfect with all my AW folk outfits.

Monthly Must Haves (September) - Amy

With September comes the official start of Autumn and this has definitely come across in my new wardrobe additions this month! ..but there is one particular thing I just cannot resist at the moment - fur. I cannot get enough of it in whatever shape or form it make take but at least I know this season is going to be a snuggly one!

Unreal Fur Faux Fur Coat
You may have seen here that I have finally found the perfect 'everyday' fur coat (thanks Dotty P!) but that doesn't mean I am not on the hunt for the perfect 'evening' fur coat too and this with it's collar blocked collar is just tooo lovely

Asos Embellished Socks
I have always been a bit of a sock person so it's no wonder the magpie in me has got there beady little eyes on these embellished babies

Next High Neck Jumper
Next's Xmas Collection launched this week and there are certainly some treats to be had! Absolutely loving this grey jumper which could be thrown on with black jeans or tucked into a pleather skirt for whatever the occassion

Topshop Fur Clutch
It was obvious when these previewed back in August that they would be an AW must have so it's no surprise these sold out quick after being sported by every celeb/blogger under the sun at LFW. Definitely worth the hype though and so happy I managed to pick up a pink one before they all went! Watch this space for a post

Topshop Plimsolls
My shoe of the summer has had a makeover for AW. I just can't get over how comfy AND cool slip ons are - what's not to love?!

Topshop White Fur Hem Dress
The. Perfect. Dress.

Topshop Fur Mini Skirt
This just goes to show I am stopping at nothing when it comes to fur this season! I'd have bought fur trainers too given half the chance. I love feeling and looking a little more luxe around winter and fur updates the simplest items to become just that

Asos Leather Boots
We all need new boots for AW! I've never really steered away from black boots but this is the year to step away from comfort zones and this may be how I do that

Asos Fur Scarf
Fantasy fur is at the top of my furry wishlists at the moment and after seeing the beautiful Megan in this at LFW I knew I had to have it! Definitely my favourite piece of the month/year/ever

I could not be more pleased that capes and blanket scarfs are huge for AW. Any excuse to wrap up in a big blanket and float around is ok with me!

The high street have such a fab range for AW and you can pick up one for about £20! They are great for this in between season weather where you need a light layer to throw on and of.

I wore mine with a floral jumpsuit underneath layered with a gorgeous white shirt which has amazing sleeve detailing from Pretty White Lies. I have been itching to use this amazing ASOS Orange Fur Clutch which I got in the sale for about £8!I thought it worked perfectly with the floral pattern colouring and added some texture.

How are you wearing your blanket cape this season?

Cape Town - Amy

H&M Blanket Cape, Whistles Cliche Jumper, Grey Cord Skirt c/o Motel Rocks, Ray Ban Wayfarer, Asos Fur Scarf, Primark Cross-Body Bag, Boots c/o Missguided

Well, incase you've been living under a rock the last month or so, you will probably know this season's 'it' item is the blanket cape. I try not to give 'it' items the time and space in my wardrobe unless I really fall for a piece but this trend is just so huge, we both wanted to show you guys how we would both style this must have.

There are two main styles available on the high street - those similar to the Burberry AW show sported by Cara etc. and tribal/aztec/navajo inspired pieces, like a sort of transitional Kimono. Neither of these really took my fancy (though if someone does fancy getting me an actual Burbs with AJW on that would be great) so my first task was to find a blanket cape a little more me. This plain grey number from H&M seemed spot on. I don't usually go for tassly bits but I actually didn't mind them on this! as it added the perfect bit of interest to the piece and the outfit

Seeing as Autumn is offically here, it only seemed right to layer the blanket cape with my favourite item, the jumper. This statement motif number from Whistles was the exact excuse I needed to do an all tonal outfit with the cape so added my Motel Rocks skirt and new Asos Sale fur into the mix too. To break up the fifty shades of grey I went for textured black bag and shoes.

Have you bought into the blanket cape trend? I think I might just have been won over!

Dorothy Perkins AW14 Style Essentials: The Fur - Naomi

H&M Fringe Jacket & Sunnies
Ebay Necklace, Rue Du Tambour Handmade Bag

One of my favourite things about AW is coats, fur and layering up so when we were told one of our style essentials was 'The Fur' I was over the moon, naturally!
As i'm impatiently waiting for the cold weather to kick in so I can get all my faux fur coats out to play the fur gilet plays a great autumnal layering piece to edge us into the colder months,

For this look I decided to go for a folk twist with these amazing scarf print jogger trousers which are both super comfortable and super on trend with the great print! I picked out the blue in the pattern in the form of a staple knit and toughened the look up with black leather and black fringe boots.

I love fur gilet's because you can simply wear them over a floaty floral dress in Autumn but then layer knits and leather jackets underneath them for the colder days and still look great - it's all about the layers! I love the texture and colour of this fur gilet and know it will just go with everything in my AW wardrobe!

I decided to accessorise this look with folk esq details- a big floppy black hat (because there not just for SS) and a handmade embellished bag which worked with all the colours well. Finished of with silver round sunnies and my coin necklace for a bit of neck detail. I love the choices you have with fur gilets and you can easily adapt them to your wardrobe whatever your style!

What do you think of how I styled the fur? I hope you enjoyed my 2 part style essentials and don't forget to see the other amazing blogger ladies ones HERE and shop the style essentials product as seen in our post HERE!
