You See Your Gypsy - Naomi

c/o Free People Fringed Bag

As it's that funny in between season kind of month I am always looking for good transitional pieces. The gypsy top plays a big part of my wardrobe as I love them with little skirts and flares for day time looks. I picked up this incredible gypsy esq jacket from Zara and have fallen in love!

It's perfect to throw on over dresses especially this new maxi from Mango which is part of the Cara  Kate campaign. This outfit is perfect at the moment as the weather starts to dip. I love all the colours and textures together and finished it off with my favourite Free People fringed bag.

Why not invest in gypsy top and get on the 70s band wagon for AW15?

A Field Of Yellow Daisies - Naomi

ASOS Green Hat, c/o Smashglam Necklace
Boohoo Clutch Bag, H&M Striped Rollneck

Spring has well and truly sprung and what better way to celebrate than with florals, groundbreaking! If you saw Amy's post yesterday you would of read about our influence for this post which was a feature in Look Magazine a few weeks ago on styling florals with stripes. We absolutely LOVED this feature and wanted to try it ourselves!

Every girl has stripes and florals in there wardrobe of some sort so it's an easy trick to jazz up your Spring ensembles. I am Swooning over this Topshop jumpsuit which has such a vintage feel to it and it worked perfectly with a simple striped roll neck underneath. I accessorised the outfit with a bright striped clutch with statement necklace. Not forgetting to finish of with my favourite Orla Kiely heels!

Why don't you try mixing up these 2 statement prints and have some fun this Spring! We would love to see the results @twoshoesonepair

We have been itching to show of our new wrist wear from Trollbeads since it came through our letterbox a few weeks ago. I'm a huge jewellery fan and it's not often I leave the house without a statement piece to finish of my look.

I absolutely love turquoise stones and crystals so went for 3 green coloured stones on a silver bangle. There was so much to choose from on Troll Beads and such unusual
designs, definitely something to suit everyone and all styles and would make such a lovely gift!

I styled mine with a spring outfit wearing my new favourite vintage find this amazing floral maxi skirt with a little lace tee and my fringed leather jacket. Accessorising with burgundy hat and bag and more silver jewels to compliment the bangle. I thought the colours worked perfectly with the pattern in the skirt.

I can't wait to add more beads onto my bangle, what do you guys think of our new sparkly additions?

Trend Inspo: Occassion Wear

Now that Spring has finally sprung, it's time to get thinking about those all important outfits for the season ahead! Whether its a wedding, prom or just a full-on party you need to dress to impress this summer and the high street can get you sorted!

Ahh the end of exams, is there any greater feeling? and is there any better excuse to let your hair down?! Go for purse-friendly party wear (Asos are killing it!) and head out in slick monochrome for maximum impact! Mixing prints and playful clutches add in the full elements you need and a cute sock and sandal will definitely have you standing out from the crowd for all the right reasons.

Older only means bolder and braver and College Prom is the perfect time to show some true colour! Go for classic shapes in modern prints when it comes to your dress and then mix up retro and on-trend pieces to finish off. Tatty Devine are the Gods of statement neckwear so you're sure to find something original you can keep hold of forever.

White to a wedding is usually a big no-no but if you know how to do it right, it can look fab! Try to go for shift style dresses for weddings, smart and sophisticated but not too dressy and always go for a print! Add pops of colour in with accessories and don't be afraid of a sequin of two! Finish off with a pastel biker for a stylish alternative to the classic (mumsy!) jacket

Any get together can be used as an excuse to get glammed up and BBQs are no exception. A pretty playsuit is the definition of smart casj and a great central piece to build the rest of your outfit around. Yellows, oranges and tans are our favourite colour palettes and work so well in summer evenings.

Curious George - Naomi

c/o Boohoo Crochet Top & Burgundy Hat
Primark Clutch Bag, c/o Miss Guided Patent Boots
c/o Levis UK Shirt (Amy's)

I'm a true believer in flower power all year long but of course when Spring comes around it feels so much nicer and fresh to sport those floral prints! I have been after for a wide leg pair of palazzo trousers for Spring and these from George at Asda are definitely my answer and only £14!

I styled them up with a denim shirt layered with my crochet long sleeved top and my suede cape of dreams that I wore for LFW. I wanted to bring out the red in the trousers so added my burgundy hat and bag for a bit of colour.  I like mixing suede with floral prints to give it that current 70s feel.

How are you wearing florals this Spring?

We were recently contacted by shoe company Cloggs and it was so hard to chose a pair as they have so many amazing brands on there! I love boots and I am always looking for something a bit different like my Zara leopard ones that I absolutely love! I found these Sam Edelman metallic boots which I absolutely fell in love with and thought they would be a great way to jazz up a simple outfit and a great height for running around at work.

I styled them in a casual way with a mix of my favourite tee, striped vintage skirt and my oversized Monki Denim jacket which I absolutely LOVE! I then accessorised the look with my green ASOS hat and star clutch I brought for LFW as I think it adds a nice 70s edge to it with the stars. The sun was actually out so my new Chloe sunnies made an appearance to (yes Spring is coming!)

I love the boots and think they work with so many different outfits and the worn silver finish is a nice little update from my everyday black boot! What footwear are you loving at the moment? If your on the hunt make sure you head to Cloggs for a great range with amazing brands!

Army of Lovers - Naomi

Beyond Retro Suede Skirt
Moxham Necklace Anubis Necklace

Military is the trend we are absolutely loving going into Spring and a great transitional look. You can adapt it to your wardrobe as you please by adding in statement pieces like trench coats and khaki or go all out head to toe barrack babe!

For my look I styled up the Miss Guided Khaki shirt dress but wore it with my vintage suede skirt with it to give it an edge. I absolutely love this trench from Glamorous and it injects the perfect amount of military into any spring outfit and the colour is perfect. Lastly adding a playful edge with my favourite snakeskin boots and a cute khaki clutch. I went for a bold statement Moxham necklace with this look to add a tough edge with the leather.

We would love to see how you are injecting military into your spring wardrobe?
