A Field Of Yellow Daisies - Naomi

ASOS Green Hat, c/o Smashglam Necklace
Boohoo Clutch Bag, H&M Striped Rollneck

Spring has well and truly sprung and what better way to celebrate than with florals, groundbreaking! If you saw Amy's post yesterday you would of read about our influence for this post which was a feature in Look Magazine a few weeks ago on styling florals with stripes. We absolutely LOVED this feature and wanted to try it ourselves!

Every girl has stripes and florals in there wardrobe of some sort so it's an easy trick to jazz up your Spring ensembles. I am Swooning over this Topshop jumpsuit which has such a vintage feel to it and it worked perfectly with a simple striped roll neck underneath. I accessorised the outfit with a bright striped clutch with statement necklace. Not forgetting to finish of with my favourite Orla Kiely heels!

Why don't you try mixing up these 2 statement prints and have some fun this Spring! We would love to see the results @twoshoesonepair

Zebra Crossing - Amy

Caped Blazer c/o Lavish Alice, Zara Stripe Dress, Rayban Wayfarer, Florian Red Leather Bag, Topshop Magnum Boots

If there is anything I love, it's a monochrome stripe and Lavish Alice have certainly turned it into a complete statement this Spring/Summer and I couldn't be happier. The brand's slick tailored pieces have become lusted after by the whole blogesphere and this season will be no different with the favourite caped blazer getting the striped update along with the matching shorts, playsuit, crop top and culottes meaning you can find the perfect 2 piece coord in the styles that suit you best.

I love a good clashing stripes outfit and this trend has been given the big thumbs up this season so I decided to layer my blazer over Zara's Spring stripes and played on the red by adding in a lip and my favourite Florian bag

Monochrome and stripes are always key for January blues, after Christmas and all that sparkle its nice to strip back in stripes!

We have been absolutely swooning over River Island new season at the moment and really enjoyed styling up these matching prints in our own ways. I styled up the stripe cigarette pants with an oversized white shirt (which is actually my boyfriends- they fit so much better!) I layered a sleeveless black blazer over it with my leather jacket over my shoulders for a casual edge. This was a great excuse to style up our Florian red bags and brought the look together perfectly!

How are you wearing stripes this January?!

Zara Stripe Jumper, Monki Stripe Dress, Ray Ban Wayfarers, Zara Colour Block Blanket Scarf, Primark Bag, Topshop Sports Socks, Buckled Brogues c/o Deichmann

If Naomi wasn't my best friend, stripes would be. I highly doubt there is anyone else in the country/world/universe that owns more striped jersey than I do, it is just the easiest, most simplest way to jazz up any outfit and is just completely timeless. But classic can be creative too and we are constantly seeking ways to make the stripe season-relevant.

Zara is completely killing it as always and one of my favourite pieces that I've picked up recently is this stripey jumper. It's not that often that you find veritcal stripes on the high street so this was a fresh difference to the other tops in my extensive wardrobe. The sporty feel definitely deserved a flippy bottom in contrasting horizontal stripes and cute sports socks (which I am lovinggg at the moment!) but I wanted the look to feel autumnal too so wore little buckled brogues and finished off the look with a colour blocked blanket scarf.

How are you wearing your stripes this Autumn?

Stripes are an essential in the majority of our wardrobes whether it's a breton stripe top or a striped bag or even a stripey pair of pants! We just love them and can't live without those endless lines! I don't often wear stripes as I prefer pattern and colour (as you guys know!) but when I find the perfect piece I am totally striped over heels!

When I opened the package with this Chella jumpsuit in I was pleasantly suprised with the thickness and quality and the AH-mazing wide flared legs of the jumpsuit which are so spot on! The shape is so flattering and I just absolutely love the shape, material and everything about it! I decided to stick to a monochrome look for a quite premium-esq look teaming it with a black long sleeve roll neck (yes i'm so glad it's cold enough to layer them now!) and then my Boohoo white cape blazer over my shoulders for a smart look. I accessorised the look with a clean black clutch, hat and belt with some round sunnies from Topshop to almost give it at 60s feel.

If your looking for a statement outfit for a smart/dressy occasion go for a statement stripe to stand out from the crowd! What's your stripe essential this season?
