Stripes are an essential in the majority of our wardrobes whether it's a breton stripe top or a striped bag or even a stripey pair of pants! We just love them and can't live without those endless lines! I don't often wear stripes as I prefer pattern and colour (as you guys know!) but when I find the perfect piece I am totally striped over heels! 

When I opened the package with this Chella jumpsuit in I was pleasantly suprised with the thickness and quality and the AH-mazing wide flared legs of the jumpsuit which are so spot on! The shape is so flattering and I just absolutely love the shape, material and everything about it! I decided to stick to a monochrome look for a quite premium-esq look teaming it with a black long sleeve roll neck (yes i'm so glad it's cold enough to layer them now!) and then my Boohoo white cape blazer over my shoulders for a smart look. I accessorised the look with a clean black clutch, hat and belt with some round sunnies from Topshop to almost give it at 60s feel.

Just incase you hadn't heard enough from me about duster and trench coats (oops!), me and Naomi wanted to show you guys a bit of a way to wear with this amazing sleeveless trench from Missguided. This beaut comes in black, tan and white and after seeing the beautiful El in this at the Missguided AW14 Press day, I had to have the black.

I love to make the most out of any sleeveless outwear by pairing them with jazzy long sleeved tops and dresses. This maximises both items and allows those all important transitional layers to look clean and even. I took this layering to the next level (literally) by wearing 2 dresses for this look - the jacquard stripes contrasted perfectly with the grey jersey and the pops of pattern added just enough 'luxe' to the sporty vibes in this outfit. The trench on top finishes this look in the smartish way I like to do!

I have been dying to share these slip on plimsolls with you for so long - a lot like the Celine ones, these Asos dupes are only £20 and soo comfy and the perfect bit of interest for any monochrome look. I did inject some colour into the look with a sporty clutch and matching lips though - and reminded myself how much I miss maroon in the summer.
