I'm Styling Crocs - Amy

Look 1 - Primark PU Biker, Topshop White Hawaiian Shirt, Topshop Stripe Shorts, Primark Sunglasses, Freedom @ Topshop Necklace, Vintage Bag via Notting Hill Market, Croc's Retro Slingback in Ultraviolet

Look 2 - Vintage Denim Jacket via Rokit, Topshop Banana Leaf Print Tee, Topshop Banana Leaf Print Shorts, Topshop Sunglasses, Primark Gold Spike Necklace, Primark Rucksack, Croc's Retro Slingback in Fuchsia

If there is anything we love on Two Shoes, One Pair, it's stepping outside of our comfort zone. Last Thursday, we were completely honoured to be invited to Croc's office on Brick Lane where we were took part in a street style challenge with some other incredible bloggers!

The biggest challenge by far for me was there was no black boot option, ha. For the shoot, I jumped at the chance to style the Retro Slingback - a sling back, flat pump that comes in a tonne of colours, and is summery enough to be that perfect summer shoe without worrying about forgetting to paint your toe nails! They also tie in perfectly with all the 50's-inspired summer beach trends around on the high street at the moment which is where I took ideas from for my 2 looks.

The shirt from Look 1 is a Topshop one which matched perfectly with the look I was trying to go for and even better, hosted the perfect colours to go with the Ultra Violet slingbacks. Where the shape is quite oversized, I wanted a super feminine bottom half to go with them so opted for these Topshop white and blush pink striped high waisted shorts to really give me waist and curves and keep the outfit tonal. I finished off with leather jacket and accessories to harden the sweet, girly colours.

Look 2 is my perfect summer outfit. Whether I'm lucky enough to head to the beach, or just be having a wonder around Brick Lane this is most likely what I will be wearing! Must-have print.. check, co-ord..check, oversized denim.. check, shoes I can walk in all day without moaning.. check. I went for the fuchsia slingbacks for this outfit as I thought the pink looked amazing with the green and it meant I could match my lipstick to the shoes! I finished off with fun accessories for a quirky summery vibe

What do you think of the Croc's in mine and Naomi's posts? I've certainly been won over :)

I'm Styling Crocs - Naomi

Look 1. Topshop Floral Co-ord, Topshop Floral Crown, Primark Mint Glasses, Primark White Satchel,  Crocs Huarache Sandals In Ocean, Topshop Transparent Mac

Look 2. Primark Aztec Shorts, H&M Aztec Jacket, Primark Statement Necklace, Crocs Huarache Bright Sandals, Yellow Clutch, H&M Round Sunglasses

Last Thursday TSOP worked with the lovely guys at Crocs on a styling shoot! Our mission was to style some of the new collection of Crocs in our own personal style. We LOVE a style challenge so naturally we couldn't wait to get stuck in! We had so much fun meeting wonderful people and shot in Brick Lane- which we will definitely be doing again!

I chose the 'Huarache' style summer flats which I decided to style both colourways. They are a strappy flat shoes and were definitely the most comfiest flats I have ever shot in! They come in bright colours and are really flattering on your feet. They will be a fantastic shoe for me going to Barcelona- my feet will look fab and be comfy when partying. Everyone wins! :-)

For my first outfit choice, I went for a tonal look.  I matched the colours in the flats to my floral co-ord from Topshop and took the transparent trend to the extreme in my statement plastic mac (which was perfect for the horrible wet weather whilst shooting!) I accessorised the look heavily but with tonal pieces- floral crown, mint sunglasses and a white satchel. I really love and enjoyed shooting this look, I felt everything went together perfectly and I felt super confident from head to toe! This look would be great for festival season in England- summery yet practical. What do you all think?

For my second outfit I wore the brighter colourway in the Huarache Flats and styled the outfit accordingly. Bright colours and clashing aztec prints worked perfectly alongside the bright shoes and this look would make a perfect summer/holiday outfit choice. Primark has impressed me recently & I found the shorts and necklace in there and loved the bright colours. I love the print in the shorts and decided to add another pattern in the mix by wearing my aztec print jacket from H&M. I love the simplicity of the outfit because the colours and prints speak for themselves.

Since doing the shoot last week , I am a self confessed Croc's convert! We never even knew Crocs did other styles of shoes that we would buy into. We are so glad to have had the chance to work with them and to share them with you! For me, there is nothing worse than my shoes rubbing on holiday and I really think that these are my answer for my partying holidays. I love to wear bright colour and looking great- the 'Huarache Flats' have definitely got a place in my suitcase!

What do you think of them and how I styled them? I would love to hear your thoughts!

Punk's Not Dead - Naomi

Primark Checked Dress C/O Frankie, Topshop Premium Feather Cape, DIY Studded Short, Topshop Corset Belt, Topshop Wooden Heel Boots

After the recent Met Ball the fashion world has gone crazy for 'Punk'! With the mixed reactions of some of the outfit choices and designers bringing out their own punk collections in honour, who would of thought it would of caused so much controversy! To us it looked like ALOT of fun and a chance to be experimental- which we are all for at TSOP!

As usual we decided to take our own spin on things and take punk into our own hands! We have got a feeling it's not the last time we will be sporting fishnets, checks and studs this season (or at least we hope not!)

We had so much fun with this look in our own version of the Met Ball! After all that is what our blog is about us having fun with new trends and ideas, we hope you can be inspired by this look even if it's just by the more wearable pieces checks and studding.

For this look I went for a dressed up punk look- rocking Frankie's Primark checked dress which was perfect! Layering it with my DIY studded collar shirt and my peacock feather cape which I just love! I wore a killer pair of black high boots and a corset belt to finish it off. Making sure I got my favourite elements of punk into my look; checks, crisp white shirt, feathers and leather!

I wonder what the theme will be next year? I'm hoping for 20's after the recent Gatsby craze! We are also hoping there's an invite for TSOP in the post ;-)

Punk's Not Dead - Amy

Vintage Check Shirt via Rokit, Topshop Pearl Crop Top, Topshop Boutique Silk Shorts, Topshop Lace Trim Cycling Shorts, Topshop Belt, Anne Summers Fish Net Tights, Topshop Aubrey Boots

I never, ever thought I'd say that I have used (current day) Madonna as fashion inspiration - but that just goes to show that inspiration appears in the strangest of places! It was hard not to take inspiration from the punk theme Met Ball a couple of weeks ago as the star studded bash was full of incredible and unlikely outfits and there is nothing I like more than seeing people push their boundaries with their wardrobes and get involved in a theme even if it isn't necessarily they're signature style.

This is definitely not an outfit that I would wear to a ball, punk themed or not, but the idea was to have a more glamorous take on grunge. I've been looking for an excuse to blog last Christmas's 'it' top from Topshop, but with a more updated/non seasonal look and this seemed perfect. I've worn the shirt over the top (tucked the collar in so it looks cleaner and less casual) and belted it with a leather belt so it gives me a figure, rather than open and oversized, which again, looks more grown up.

I chose to keep the rest of my outfit solid black, as to not distract from the gorgeous pearls or the punk element of the check, so decided to play with textures rather than pattern, colour or print. The silk shorts tie in with the more glamorous feel to the outfit and combined with the lace trim cycling shorts (underneath) and the fish nets definitely says sexy rather than scary. No outfit of mine is complete without a black boot, so I chose my black cut out Aubrey to tie in with the gold buckle of the belt.

Who was your 'Best Dressed' from the Met Ball?

Close to Mee - Naomi

C/O Mee Mee Red Crazy Print Bomber, Zara Net Vest, American Apparel Leotard, Zara Red Necklace, Topshop Earrings, Vintage Levis Shorts, Choies Cut Out Boots, Primark Rucksack

I don't think you can get more me than this bright aztec bomber jacket by Mee Mee. I love the bright prints and it's perfect for me to rock on a night out and make a statement. The colours and print are stunning and the fit is oversized and long which I love as it makes it feel like a retro bomber.
It's also totally on trend with the recent sports trends influenced by Rita Ora!

I have seen Mee Mee around lot's in magazines and advertised on other blogs and this is one website I am pleased to have stumbled across! The product is unusual, quirky and offer something more than your typical online retailer. I am always looking for something new and fresh that no one has and Mee Mee offers just that, fashionable pieces that don't copy the fashion pack.

When I go out I like to wear it loud and wear it proud! You would think I would team the bomber with something toned down- but then it just wouldn't be me!
I teamed it with my net best which I love for layering over things. I layered it over my American Apparel leotard, the print fitted perfectly with the bomber yet the netting made it more subtle. I also love wearing denim under net to create a grunge and textured feel.

Note the photo of the back of the jacket with net and denim- it's a look full of interest and clever layering. I blinged it up with some gold aztec triangle earrings which went perfectly and my favourite red statement necklace from Zara. The tights make it real as it's so bloody cold for nearly June and of course my Choies cut out boots which are my best friend on a night out.. Come to think, of it all the time!

Whatever you are doing this bank holiday weekend do it in style and visit http://www.meemee.com/
and fall in love just like I did!

Happy Bank Holiday All x

Primark Pu Biker, China Print Playsuit c/o MeeMee, Topshop Lace Body Suit, Topshop Avenger Boots

I have been lusting after something china print since last summer and have never found the perfect item so imagine my luck when I spotted this gorgeous playsuit on MeeMee.Com! Not only is it a playsuit (always a preference over a dress for me), it is buttoned and collared, and sporting one of this season's biggest trends - the cut out. Pretty much perfect for me.

Where someone people will see cut-outs as an excuse to get a moderate bit of flesh out, I just see it as the perfect oppotunity to layer up. This gorgeous lace body is an oldie from Topshop but has never been discarded to the back of the wardrobe and seemed like the perfect match for this cut out playsuit. The nude colour keeps it subtle but the delicate lace compliments the china print for a perfect girly outfit.

Amy's Week In Style

I think I'm going to start calling these Amy's Month In Style as I am getting worse and worse, so once again I begin with an apology :(! It always seems like when you have funding (thanks to winning £100 Topshop vouchers on todayimwearing.com!) and events that actually need new outfits like the Company Style Blogger Awards (which is only a week away!) you can NEVER find anything you want. But without money and reason, you could spend a small fortune. Sigh.

Topshop Paisley Horse Print Dress
I have completely and utterly fallen in love with this dress. The shape is so classy, yet sexy and is perfect with a fringed kimono for festivals, with a blazer for an event or a biker for a night out.

Topshop Paisley Horse Shirt
and it seems that I am finding it hard to resist the shirt version too! Again, the shape is feminine and can be dressed open, closed, tucked in. Is it wrong I am desperate to wear these two together!?

Topshop Flamingo Necklace
Sticking with a bit of an animal theme, how cool is this necklace! there is a diamanté version for a hefty £50 but this one is nicer and half the price. Why not have some fun with your jewellery this summer?

Topshop Floral Denim Shirt
You may or may not know by now that I love a good boxy shirt and this acid wash floral number is pretty much made for me! I'd be brave enough to do the double with this and wear with my Mom jeans fron the Jean Genie post for an easy day time outfit

Topshop White Leather Dress
Every girl needs a LWD and it seems I have finally found mine. I tend not to do white due to Starbucks cups being pretty rubbish at containing the coffee and a job that requires me to paint and drill at a moments notice but for those rare moments that I am being relatively careful, I think the tee shape and leather material suits my style perfectly. I'd love to wear this with a bright collar underneath.

Hologram Clutch
A little late on this trend but it's only recently I have even learnt how to hold a clutch (I kid you not) so forgive me!

Nike X Liberty
I have loved all the Nike and Liberty collaborations but have sadly never gotten around to purchasing. I am a massive Liberty Print fan and very fond of a blazer for summer so maybe I'll finally get around to owning a gorgeous pair of these, from their latest release

Back To Black - Naomi

Warehouse Fur Gilet, Topshop Lace Maxi, Choies Black Cut Out Boots, Primark Eye Earrings, Vintage Ethnic Necklace, Vintage Disc Belt C/O- my Mum

Lace is something every girl owns and is great for creating texture to your outfit and making you feel super feminine. Think of new and imaginative ways to wear your lace pieces this summer whether it's layering them over or under something or playing up the sheerness of the fabric. Be inventive with your choices!

For this look I went for a bohemian feel (a look I am definitely experienced in!) The black lace dress is a recent Topshop purchase and is fabulous for layering over shorts and a crop for an ultra sexy festival ready look. I wore it here with denim shorts, chunky black boots and my very furry gilet which gives it that bohemian goddess feel. Lavished in turquoise and vintage accessories it's a look I feel the Olsen twins would be proud of. Of course my 'get out of bed hair' was part of the look ;-)
Take note of the stunning belt which was my Mum's when she was my age, a belt which I have grown to love and looks great with my bohemian style.

However you rock lace this summer be sure to rock it at Glastonbury, Lovebox or Shangrila and make sure you are inventive- mix it with denim, leather and prints for a beautiful textured masterpiece!
