Nothing beats festival attire and this year festival has took a whole new approach than the mad clashing bright prints. Think tonal, washed out and all white dressing which is all a about the detail and layering. Wear white lace, fringe, tassles, embellishment, denim with tan accessories and you will be good to go!
Topshops new festival window which also sports the white festival dressing and huge feather headdresses willl get you super excited for the season ahead! Since Coachella I have been lusting after everything festival and with the high street bringing out the most amazing product I just can't resist. Read my week in style where I have done a whole wish list on my festival needs.
Where are you heading this summer- Glastonbury, Field Day, Bestival, Lovebox or Shangrila? Isn't England amazing for festivals!!! Wherever you are going make sure you do it in true festival style.
I'm heading to Sonar in June and then Bestival in September so my festival wardrobe needs to be on top form- staples like the kimono worn in this look will go to both and offer endless amounts of outfits. I tend to look to eBay for one off vintage finds that no one will have, like my elephant waistcoat in post *California Dreaming*
Buy into statement pieces like a embellished kimono or short that will make your look feel so much more premium. Choose your prints wisely and stay away from cheaply printed Aztecs, go for embroidery, beading and crochets and keep accessories to a minimum but with maximum impact like a feather headdress, bumbag or floral headband.
This is one of my favourite looks and how I feel most confident (in a field, covered in fringing with a cider!) For more festival inspiration head down to your nearest Topshop or look at style photos from Coachella and start planning what's going to be in your rucksack for festival season 2013.
Can't even pick out one thing to comment about ahhhh I love the whole outfit so much! You look super coooool x
