Topshop Crayon Co-ord Top & Skirt, Topshop Floral Headband, Primark Yellow Wedges
As discussed in last weeks post 'Two Can Play That Game' co-ords are like a modern suit. For me it's all about the printed ones for summer in matching: top and skirt, blazer and short, top and short. There are endless options on the high street. There are so many amazing printed ones in Aztecs, tribal, safari and oriental prints and they are great even if you do choose not to wear them together just add them into your own wardrobe to smarten it up.
I feel the most confident I have felt in ages in my new floral co-ord and anything that brings confidence is definitely the right decision. The light print is in a gorgeous green blue and white feeling summery and light, the fabric is really soft which makes the skirt float nice when I walk, the longer length in the skirt makes it practical for work but also for going out with the two splits in the front... (Cheeky!) I have seen this on a few people and it looks amazing on everyone! With only showing a tiny bit of midriff you won't feel over exposed yet still showing off the co-ord look. If you don't like showing of your arms go for a light soft blazer or kimono shape to cover up.
I didn't want to over accessorise the look but I felt the floral headband picked out the colours in the print so well and added something spectacular. Shoes I went for a bright wedge which adds a pop of colour and look great with the skirt. I'm feeling super summery after this post, what have you been buying for summer?
Gorgeous outfit!
