Summer Blossom - Naomi

Topshop floral dress, H&M sleeveless shirt, Zara Necklace, Vintage Belt, Boohoo Clutch, Vintage Sunnies, Topshop Sandals

Big florals are making a come back for A/W in rich autumnal colours and oversized prints! You don't have to tell us twice to sport big and clashing florals so we decided to try it out but in a summery spin on it!

For this look I wore my Topshop floral dress which I love the shape of! It's so summery and flattering and I always feel super girly in it which I love for summer! I wore a sleeveless shirt underneath to smarten it up and put a different spin on the dress for a sophisticated summery look. I wore my favourite zara necklace which picked out the colours in the dress and a skinny vintage belt.

A simple look but I felt summery and confident in the outfit. I can't wait for A/W where I can full on clashing florals and all the rich colours and layers. How bad is that, I'm longing for winter so I can start layering! After all winter is so more chic!

Club Tropicana - Naomi

H&M Pineapple Top, H&M Pineapple Bag, Topshop Boutique Jeans, Primark Yellow Wedges, H&M Silver Chain, Primark White Sunnies

Finally the weather is looking more like summer and this means we can play around with the kitsch and summery product! We love cute prints and when discussing what post we could do next, fruit prints was something we just had to cover!

What better way to scream the sun is out than with a fruit salad tee or a pineapple crop top! Since designers like Jeremy Scott made food on clothes hot, the high street is full of fruit prints which add the playful and fun factor into this seasons heat wave! Why stick to plain summery clothing when this is the time to be wearing it loud and wearing it proud!

I went pineapple crazy after finding these perfect items in H&M. Pineapple print crop top and wicker pineapple bag were perfect for the look I wanted to achieve. You must know by now here at TSOP we never take ourselves or our outfit choices to seriously and always remember we are still young girls and love having fun! This post is exactly what we mean. If I can't wear a pineapple crop top at 23, then when can I wear a pineapple crop top?!

I decided to wear it with my new high waisted jeans by Topshop Boutique which I absoloutely LOVE!  The fit is perfect and the ripped knees are just enough for me. I feel so comfortable and confident in them and they look great with a crop top for summer.
Accessorised with a silver chunky chain, white round sunnies and my bright yellow wedges which made the look super summery! The pineapple wicker bag added a touch of playfulness to the look and I feel it's a look Rihanna would be proud of!

Are you being a 'fruit fool' like Amy and myself this season?

Dark Craft - Naomi

Zara Black Lace Dress, Forever 21 Hat, Nasty Gal Bralet, Topshop Boots, Accessorize Necklace, Vintage Sunglasses

Can you believe we are already talking A/W.... Especially with the heat wave thats gracing us this weekend! But this is the perfect time to get your head in the A/W trends and start updating your wardrobe. Grab the fashion magazines which are covering all the trends and the best product on the high street.

Witchy and craft influences always come around during the colder season with lace, denim and leather being key. Since festival took over the high street this summer we have all been wondering whats next and by the looks of the high street over the past week it's turning dark! The summer festival look that was washed out and pretty has toughened itself up for winter with leather, black lace, distressed denim and a darker colour palette. This is the perfect trend for the transition into winter as it's wearable now and can be layered up when it gets colder.

I have gone for a dark almost gothic look which is all about clever layering! The dress is Zara and I absolutely adore the lace. It comes with a slip underneath but I like to wear it with shorts to show of the lace more. I wore leather shorts underneath and layered my Nasty Gal cut out bralet over it which I think looks amazing layered over the lace and softens the S&M style bralet. I wore my new hat from Forever 21 which I love, the shape is dramatic and has cute little stud detailing on the back, I also wore a jet black necklace from Accessorize and finished off with my Topshop black boots.

How are you getting ready for A/W and have you seen any trends you will be buying into?

Wimbledon Whites - Naomi

H&M Grid White Blazer, H&M White Shirt Dress, H&M Chain, Zara Holographic Clutch, Topshop Reflect Sandals, Ebay Sunglasses

Fashion and style are influenced heavily by everything going on around us- the queens jubilee influenced tea party trends to saw across the high street and Wimbledon is no different with 'Wimbledon Whites' being the unwritten fashionistas order of play this year!

Maybe not the most practical colour for sitting on Henman Hill and eating strawberries and cream but all white dressing looks clean, premium and slick and perfect for that tailored look for Wimbledon. I am going tomorrow and have been playing around with outfits since seeing various Wimbledon Whites post over the last week and felt it was the right way to go... It's not only Murray that has a tonal dress code to stick to!

Let's talk white! Pay way was on Friday which means I have new sparkly items to play with. I love this blazer from H&M the grid print was something Topshop heavily brought into over AW12 and I think it's so wearable and easy to mix up with other monochrome prints. Yes it has black on it but I think this adds a little bit of detail and interest to a tonal look and I wore Black Sandals to balance the black. Underneath the blazer I wore a H&M white shirt dress which was in the sale for £7 a very easy piece to wear and i'm sure it will come in handy. The dress looks great under the blazer with a skinny belt. I went for silvery accessories adding this amazing holographic clutch from Zara which I spotted on a few blogs recently and fell in love with! Statement clutch bags are perfect for clean looks like this and add some interest. Finally finishing off with a chunky silver chain, adding these simple current accessories make the look feel younger and cooler. What do you guys think of all white dressing?

Even if you aren't going to Wimbledon this year- rock white this week in true style spirit!

iLashes - Naomi

Lashes Of London Floral Co-ord (Top and Skirt), Topshop White Blouse, Boohoo White Boots, Topshop Socks, Boohoo Clutch Bag, H&M Hat, Vintage Sunnies

Nothing says summer more than florals and I loved the colours in this floral print co-ord! Matching top and skirt from Lashes Of London which you can buy here or from Oxford Circus Topshop! The sun has finally come back out which means I can finally wear some summer clothes and enjoy prints like this once more!

I decided to layer a white shirt underneath with a cute detail on the collar, yellow frilly socks picked out the yellow in the print and look super cute with my Boohoo cut out white boots! I never like to be too girly so added in black accessories including my clutch bag, hat and sunnies. Also my black leather jacket was perfect to throw over this when the sun had gone in. I love the print and colours and the style of the skirt made it very flattering. Lashes of London is always amazing quality and fit which always shows.... A definite site to check out for you summer fashionistas!

How are you enjoying the sun this weekend? Hope you are wearing your sunday best!

A Week In Barcelona - Naomi

I have just got back from the wonderful Barcelona and had an amazing time with wonderful people! Lots of crazy parties for Off Sonar Week and exploring the stunning streets of Barcelona!
I documented my outfits to share with you all, I hope you enjoy!

River Island Swimsuit, EBay Vintage Denim Shorts, Vintage Tan Belt, Primark Long Necklace, New Look Short Necklace, Primark White Sandals

For the first night I wore a River Island swimsuit with my vintage denim shorts. I love the plunge neckline, gold Aztec design and low back. Off Sonar parties are cool so a swimsuit/leotard and short combination are perfect to carry you from the day to night parties.

River Island Feather Headband, EBay Crochet Swimsuit, Primark Aztec Shorts, Vintage Silver Armlet

The 2nd day to Memoria day party I wore a bright and bold outfit- the headband was a last minute find from River Island I was super excited to wear it! I wore my black crochet swimsuit with aztec shorts from Primark which I love. I felt super confident in this outfit.

ASOS Ombré Swimsuit, Ragged Priest Ombré Shorts, Primark White Belt, eBay Floral Glasses

We went on a boat party which was loads of fun and I decided to go for an all ombré pastel look based around my new ASOS swimsuit which matched perfectly to my denim shorts. accessorised with a thin white belt and crochet bag and my amazing floral sunglasses.

Vintage Embellished Bralet, Handmade Floral Skirt, Topshop Indian Headband, Primark White Sandals

We went to El Row which was carnival/fancy dress mayhem so I decided to wear my floral skirt that I made for a previous fancy dress and last post Garden Party. I wore it with my vintage embellished top and indian gold headband for a floral Indian goddess look.

Here are a few last photos from my trip! Hope you have enjoyed....

Feather Hearts - Amy

Look 1 - 'Bad News Babes' tee c/o Feather Hearts, Topshop Crochet Collar Swing Blouse, Topshop High Neck Stripe Bodycon Dress, H&M Hat, H&M Sunglasses, Primark Rucksack, Converse via Schuh

Look 2 - 'Bad News Babes' tee c/o Feather Hearts, Boohoo Blazer, Topshop Skull Leggings, Topshop Skull Necklace, Boohoo Clutch, Topshop Aubrey Boots

I've always loved a good statement tee - from band tees to iconic films in my teens to more fashionable slogan tees now I'm a tiny bit more of a grown up, I just can't get enough. Your classic, slightly oversized shape is the most versatile item to have in your wardrobe and a good statement on the front can really turn heads and show off what you're all about! Feather Hearts seem to have it spot on and have all styles, shapes and slogans to suit every fashion conscious (or not!) person out there and are fast becoming one of my favourite lesser know brands.

To show just how versatile these tees can be, we both opted to do a more casual/daytime outfit and a smarter/nighttime look. I then mashed the 2 looks together to go out to dinner straight afterwards which proves anything goes with this tee!

For my day time look, I wanted to stick to a monochrome colour palette but use subtle details on the coordination for interest without taking the emphasis off the slogan tee. I think I look like a very 21st century Wednesday Addams (ha) with the cute crochet collar and bow and the striped bodycon dress compliments the oversized nice perfectly. I stuck to all black accessories, again so the tee was the main focus! and kept to converse to cas the outfit down

For my night time look, I wanted another statement item to go with the tee and these Topshop leggings seemed perfect. To play up the leggings I went for a skull necklace, and chunkier boots but to give it a bit more of a chic and lighter finish threw my white Boohoo blazer over the top!

What do you think of Feather Hearts and how would you wear this tee?

Punk's Not Dead - Naomi

Primark Checked Dress C/O Frankie, Topshop Premium Feather Cape, DIY Studded Short, Topshop Corset Belt, Topshop Wooden Heel Boots

After the recent Met Ball the fashion world has gone crazy for 'Punk'! With the mixed reactions of some of the outfit choices and designers bringing out their own punk collections in honour, who would of thought it would of caused so much controversy! To us it looked like ALOT of fun and a chance to be experimental- which we are all for at TSOP!

As usual we decided to take our own spin on things and take punk into our own hands! We have got a feeling it's not the last time we will be sporting fishnets, checks and studs this season (or at least we hope not!)

We had so much fun with this look in our own version of the Met Ball! After all that is what our blog is about us having fun with new trends and ideas, we hope you can be inspired by this look even if it's just by the more wearable pieces checks and studding.

For this look I went for a dressed up punk look- rocking Frankie's Primark checked dress which was perfect! Layering it with my DIY studded collar shirt and my peacock feather cape which I just love! I wore a killer pair of black high boots and a corset belt to finish it off. Making sure I got my favourite elements of punk into my look; checks, crisp white shirt, feathers and leather!

I wonder what the theme will be next year? I'm hoping for 20's after the recent Gatsby craze! We are also hoping there's an invite for TSOP in the post ;-)
