As the nights are longer, it was only a matter of time before we got a little creative with night time shooting! But what a perfect location for our military themed post 'Atten-tion' As you all are probably aware military influences are slowly creeping back into our wardrobes so make sure you are kitted out in style!

I went for a slightly different angle on the military front with a uniform vibe rocking the pleated skirt with chunky knit and a cute little beret which I absolutely love and this look is totally wearable for AW14!

Boohoo are absolutely killing it this season and this leopard print maxi has fast become my new staple coat, infact the whole outfit is from Boohoo showing you can be on trend on a budget and look great! Whether you go all out army this season or go for a subtle barrack babe uniform, we would love to hear your military operation for the season...

Tonality - Amy

H&M Embellished Scuba Top, Topshop Black Shirt, Faux Leather Navy Mini Skirt c/o Missguided, Ray Ban Clubmasters, Bag c/o Paul's Boutique, Topshop Amelie Boots

It is no secret that I love a tonal outfit - I prefer mish-mashing textures, rather than colours, patterns or prints  and tonal dressing is the best way for these to stand out against one another. Having taken on a few colours in the last couple of months, it was definitely time for a go at navy. With autumn well and truly underway, it's easy to chuck those knits and furs together (like we have been doing!) but with the indian summer we seem to have been experiencing, I wanted sleeker textures for this look and the darker colour palette being the AW hint.

Saying that, I kicked off the outfit with my favourite texture of Autumn/Winter, Embellishment. This boxy-shaped, scuba top from H&M is the ultimate in transitional pieces and a nice and easy piece to layer up and down. I, of course, chose a shirt. Another transitional fave has been this amazing navy pleather skirt, again working with tights and without I know it'll continue to be a wardrobe staple.

Are you a tonal dresser? What's your favourite colour palette to play with?

In The Pink - Naomi

H&M Dress, Topshop Skirt, Topshop Sandals, Zara Clutch, Topshop Premium Necklace, Amys Sunglasses

After reading Vogues supplement 'The Catwalk Edit' this week I have been desperate to try out some of the new A/W trends in a transitional way! The trend that I am enjoying is the all pink tonal look named 'A Rose Bouquet' and is described:

'From the palest pinks to dusky damask hues designers drenched the collections in a warm rosy glow. An overtly feminine flattering palette, head to toe rose tones offer a beautiful spin on autumns pre-
eminent trend: the new womanly allure'

Wear pink slinky shapes and sillhoutes to look on trend over the next few months and get ready for pink coats and jackets to take over this winter! It looks pretty and fresh and almost like we are heading into spring rather than A/W which makes a nice change to the dark and gloomy wintery trends.

A softer more feminine take on earlier trend of the year 'All White Dressing' which often was more of a tailored, premium and more masculine outcome. All pink is still premium but with a girly softer edge to it. Pastel pinks are are not everyones cup of tea, I usually steer clear of the girly pastel colours but when worn right and in a tonal way the outcome is stunning and right up my street for A/W- I just need to buy more pink items now!

I wanted my look to be summery and premium- I pulled all my pink items out of my wardrobe to see if I could make it work! The dress is old H&M and I tucked it into my skirt. I love the feminine shape of the top section with the cross over and shoulder ruching. The skirt which is making a huge come back for next season especially this full skirt which is from Topshop. I find the style of these skirts extremely flattering and easy to wear! The two pink items work well together, they are nearly the same shades but just different textures which adds interest. I accessorised this look with silver- a chunky silver premium necklace, skinny black belt and holographic clutch which I absolutely LOVE! Amy's pink sunglasses worked well for the glorious weather and the barely there sandals added to the premium feel.

Are you digging pink for A/W? Lets hope the saying 'Pink makes the boys blink' does us all a favour next season!

Wimbledon Whites - Naomi

H&M Grid White Blazer, H&M White Shirt Dress, H&M Chain, Zara Holographic Clutch, Topshop Reflect Sandals, Ebay Sunglasses

Fashion and style are influenced heavily by everything going on around us- the queens jubilee influenced tea party trends to saw across the high street and Wimbledon is no different with 'Wimbledon Whites' being the unwritten fashionistas order of play this year!

Maybe not the most practical colour for sitting on Henman Hill and eating strawberries and cream but all white dressing looks clean, premium and slick and perfect for that tailored look for Wimbledon. I am going tomorrow and have been playing around with outfits since seeing various Wimbledon Whites post over the last week and felt it was the right way to go... It's not only Murray that has a tonal dress code to stick to!

Let's talk white! Pay way was on Friday which means I have new sparkly items to play with. I love this blazer from H&M the grid print was something Topshop heavily brought into over AW12 and I think it's so wearable and easy to mix up with other monochrome prints. Yes it has black on it but I think this adds a little bit of detail and interest to a tonal look and I wore Black Sandals to balance the black. Underneath the blazer I wore a H&M white shirt dress which was in the sale for £7 a very easy piece to wear and i'm sure it will come in handy. The dress looks great under the blazer with a skinny belt. I went for silvery accessories adding this amazing holographic clutch from Zara which I spotted on a few blogs recently and fell in love with! Statement clutch bags are perfect for clean looks like this and add some interest. Finally finishing off with a chunky silver chain, adding these simple current accessories make the look feel younger and cooler. What do you guys think of all white dressing?

Even if you aren't going to Wimbledon this year- rock white this week in true style spirit!

I'm Styling Crocs - Amy

Look 1 - Primark PU Biker, Topshop White Hawaiian Shirt, Topshop Stripe Shorts, Primark Sunglasses, Freedom @ Topshop Necklace, Vintage Bag via Notting Hill Market, Croc's Retro Slingback in Ultraviolet

Look 2 - Vintage Denim Jacket via Rokit, Topshop Banana Leaf Print Tee, Topshop Banana Leaf Print Shorts, Topshop Sunglasses, Primark Gold Spike Necklace, Primark Rucksack, Croc's Retro Slingback in Fuchsia

If there is anything we love on Two Shoes, One Pair, it's stepping outside of our comfort zone. Last Thursday, we were completely honoured to be invited to Croc's office on Brick Lane where we were took part in a street style challenge with some other incredible bloggers!

The biggest challenge by far for me was there was no black boot option, ha. For the shoot, I jumped at the chance to style the Retro Slingback - a sling back, flat pump that comes in a tonne of colours, and is summery enough to be that perfect summer shoe without worrying about forgetting to paint your toe nails! They also tie in perfectly with all the 50's-inspired summer beach trends around on the high street at the moment which is where I took ideas from for my 2 looks.

The shirt from Look 1 is a Topshop one which matched perfectly with the look I was trying to go for and even better, hosted the perfect colours to go with the Ultra Violet slingbacks. Where the shape is quite oversized, I wanted a super feminine bottom half to go with them so opted for these Topshop white and blush pink striped high waisted shorts to really give me waist and curves and keep the outfit tonal. I finished off with leather jacket and accessories to harden the sweet, girly colours.

Look 2 is my perfect summer outfit. Whether I'm lucky enough to head to the beach, or just be having a wonder around Brick Lane this is most likely what I will be wearing! Must-have print.. check, co-ord..check, oversized denim.. check, shoes I can walk in all day without moaning.. check. I went for the fuchsia slingbacks for this outfit as I thought the pink looked amazing with the green and it meant I could match my lipstick to the shoes! I finished off with fun accessories for a quirky summery vibe

What do you think of the Croc's in mine and Naomi's posts? I've certainly been won over :)
