I am adoring all of the bright and bold colours around the high street at moment, none more so than cobalt blue, but with the sun shining and a real feeling spring is on it's way I wanted to get creative and colourful with all 3 primary's - one of this season's up and coming trends

Zara seem to be getting it right for me every week at the moment and this week's find was this silky open back tee. It may be sunny but it's still pretty chilly so I layered up my outfit around this amazing focal piece, going with thinly striped bodycon and chunky boyfriend coat for 3 contrasting shapes, textures and patterns.

To freshen and clean up the look, I went for all white accessories rather than black which was a huge excuse to test drive my new amazing sandals from New Look which I just couldn't wait for summer to wear

Onwards and Upwards

After a hugely successful 2013, over here at TSOP we vowed to make sure 2014 was going to be even better for us, so what better excuse for a bit of a spruce up? We'll take any excuses for a make over!

First in line was our domain name - if you hadn't already noticed, we have finally become www.twoshoesonepair.com! Even the simplest of changes make us so happy, and we are so proud that we felt our blog had earned its .com status (though I think I was more proud of making the actual switch as it's probably the most technologically advanced thing I've ever done)

As well as a bit of a layout clean up, we've been lucky enough to have a brand new header designed for us by the extremely talented Kami Anderson please check her out at www.kamianderson.co.uk and on social @iamkamofficial for more of her amazing work!

With all if this in place and some incredible collaborations happening in the very near future, we just wanted to take this oppotunity to thank you all for reading and supporting TSOP and making this so exciting for us

Lots of love
Amy and Naomi

I have been itching to tell you about this project for weeks and to share the amazing imagery! I was fortunate enough to have been asked by Holly McGlynn to work with her on a project for Levis for their new range of jeans 'Revels'

'Revels' are part of a revolutionary shaping jean which uses ground breaking liquid shaping technology that shapes, lifts and lengthens your body. Being a girl you will know how difficult it is to find a Jean that's both flattering and doesn't reveal everything when you bend over! Levis who actually invented the first ever pair of jeans have once again helped us find our perfect fit!

After years of sourcing, designing and hundreds of fittings around the world from San Francisco to São Paulo, to Stockholm to Shanghai, Levis is finally proud to introduce their new range....make way for Revels girls!

Extremely talented photographer Holly McGlynn asked 10 bloggers of different styles and shapes to take part in the campaign and style the new fit jeans in their own way. We each chose our perfect style of Revels and wash and put our stamp on them with our own very individual outfits.

I styled my Bold curve Revels in 'Sundown' wash of course in a festival/bohemian look and stayed true to myself. I don't usual wear jeans but Revels have converted me, they fit and feel amazing and you can dress them up or down! I styled them with a vintage shirt and blazer I love all the bright colours and clashing prints for an almost folk style. The headband picked out the colours perfectly and brought all the look together. I went big on accessories with statement necklace and chain belt with simple black studded boots!

We shot the looks in the amazing Epping Forest! Both Holly and myself were caked in mud and freezing cold to bring you these amazing shots which I hope you enjoy! We also experimented with coloured smoke bombs which looked incredible in the forest.... There's always danger on the shoot with Holly!

On Thursday we celebrated the project launch at the Levis Revel room at Somerset house for London fashion weekend which was a night of champagne and smiles! All of our photos were up on a big board for everyone to see and I was alongside some amazing blogger babes!

Levis loved the images so much that they are using them for their social, website and in stores worldwide! I feel so lucky to have taken part in such a wonderful project and with such amazing people such as Holly and the girls at Levis! It's definitely one to remember :-)

Suit Yourself - Naomi

All items c/o Boohoo, Matching Suit Boohoo Boutique SS14
Sunglasses- Forever 21

I'm a big co-ord fan and I also am a big Boohoo Boutique fan so this post works hand in hand! I saw the SS14 collection at the press day a few months ago so have been excited for the new collection to launch for a while! I love the oriental esq prints and the blue colours as it looks fresh for spring.

Printed suits are nice to mix and match and also look great together for a chic easy look. I teamed this suit with a blue shirt & Tassle detailed accessories for a smart yet bohemian look. The winter sun was in full glory this weekend so I made the most of wearing my sunnies and cut out boots! Major credit to Boohoo and all their wonderful SS product at the moment!

Are you getting suited up this spring?

Suit Yourself - Amy

Two Piece Short Suit, Polka Dot Shirt, Black Oversized Clutch, White Polka Dot Lace Up Boots, Fedora all c/o Boohoo, H&M Sunglasses

I've never really been brave enough to try out any kind of suit as it can be quite difficult to pull off (unless you're Naomi or Arabella G!) and it's not usually my style but when Boohoo asked to dress us for LFW, I jumped at the chance to try something out of my comfort zone. With co-ords still on top for this season and everyone dressing to impress at Somerset House this was the perfect opportunity to give one ago

The short suit is definitely more 'me' than a trouser or skirt and the collarless, short sleeved blazer and loud floral pattern make this a lot more feminine than some of the more androgynous suits around at the moment. In true TSOP style, I decided to pattern clash - the white based polka dot shirt and boots are simple enough to create a big statement without causing an overly loud outfit.

I finished off with a sleek statement clutch (who says size doesn't matter?!) and our hero piece if this season - a fedora. Sadly, this outfit never made it to the cobbles due to weather/travel issues but I cannot wait to wear it to an event this Spring as its the perfect transitional outfit.

This post is long overdue but following on from Amy's lovely post on Wednesday it's my turn to blog vintage! This post is to celebrate my new role at Beyond Retro as 'Online Creative Content Manager' I am absolutely over the moon and could not be happier in my new role! I have been doing it for 3 weeks now and my role is to come up with ideas for the shoots, style them and provide all creative content for the website. Big role for a new year!

Amy and myself have always been massive vintage fans and since working for Beyond Retro it has mad e me realise just how wonderful the world of vintage is! There is no better feeling than finding a one of gem that no one has, intact I have found quite a few since starting at BR and really amazing prices.

Anyway.... down to the outfit! I found this AMAZING maxi dress in the Dalston store a few weeks ago and fell in love. I love the 1970's and metallic so me and this dress was a match made in heaven. I styled it in a really bohemian way with fringed jacket and bag and my fedora. I felt the fur stole gave it that glamorous edge but stuck to my chunky boots from Boohoo for a smart casual feel. I literally love this dress and makes me excited for more vintage finds!

Although you can't tell in the photos it was actually freezing and raining when we took these photos- excuse the moody face!

Vintage Denim Jacket via Rokit, Vintage Dress via Beyond Retro, Fur Collar via Grandma's Wardrobe, Vintage Bag via Notting Hill Market, Topshop Astrix Boots

As you may know, my beautifully talented other shoe has recently got a new and amazing job with my favourite vintage brand, Beyond Retro. When I was at college, I'd make my way up to London just to sift through their glorious vintage pieces so as well as being incredibly happy for her in terms of her career, I was so excited for her to be working with such amazing unique product.

This dress is one of the best things I have ever found in here. The frills give it a really feminine feel and the multi coloured squiggles make it playful and fun and it is one of the easiest things I have in my wardrobe to just throw on and glow. I get so many compliments about whenever I wear this dress out and the drop waist pattern means it is bang on for this Spring Summer!

For this outfit I decided to wear it quite simply but with other vintage pieces. This over sized denim jacket is a firm staple in my wardrobe and the sunny day meant I was able to wear it out without too many layers! The fur stole was appropriate for early February and actually belongs to my grandma (thank you!) and the little vintage bag from Notting Hill is perfect for all those little day essentials. To completely modernise the outfit, I wore my Astrix boots from Topshop to finish off the ensemble :)

LFW AW14 - Day 3

Beyond Retro Dress, Jacket & Clutch
Choies Green Skirt, Boohoo Boots, Forever 21 Sunglasses
Corlette Belt

Featured in photos- Gemma Talbot, Arabella Golby, Maddie Killick, Deighas

Day 3 of London fashion week and we finally saw some sun! It felt like Spring is on the horizon and everyone was outside enjoying the winter rays! I thought I would bring some florals to Somerset House and I was so pleased with my outfit choice! I was lucky enough to get snapped by Vogue, Elle and Marie Claire.... I feel like my life is complete!!

I went for Beyond Retro vintage dress, jacket and clutch. I love how the colours all compliment eachother yet it's slightly mis-matchy. I wanted to add some volume to the outfit so wore my Choies full skirt which I absolutely adore the shape and clinched it in with a black Waistbelt. I wore my new favourite shoes from Boohoo which felt looked great with the skirt and of course a pair of sunnies which were needed for the bright sun! The last photo is from LFW Daily paper which I was lucky enough to be featured in - I am over the moon about it!

I hope you have enjoyed my LFW outfits, I certainly enjoyed this season and soaked up the wonderful London atmosphere and style!
