Suit Yourself - Amy

Two Piece Short Suit, Polka Dot Shirt, Black Oversized Clutch, White Polka Dot Lace Up Boots, Fedora all c/o Boohoo, H&M Sunglasses

I've never really been brave enough to try out any kind of suit as it can be quite difficult to pull off (unless you're Naomi or Arabella G!) and it's not usually my style but when Boohoo asked to dress us for LFW, I jumped at the chance to try something out of my comfort zone. With co-ords still on top for this season and everyone dressing to impress at Somerset House this was the perfect opportunity to give one ago

The short suit is definitely more 'me' than a trouser or skirt and the collarless, short sleeved blazer and loud floral pattern make this a lot more feminine than some of the more androgynous suits around at the moment. In true TSOP style, I decided to pattern clash - the white based polka dot shirt and boots are simple enough to create a big statement without causing an overly loud outfit.

I finished off with a sleek statement clutch (who says size doesn't matter?!) and our hero piece if this season - a fedora. Sadly, this outfit never made it to the cobbles due to weather/travel issues but I cannot wait to wear it to an event this Spring as its the perfect transitional outfit.

Pink Lady - Amy

Topshop Jewel Necklace Jumper, Topshop Cat Print Chiffon Shirt, Topshop Polka Dot Midi Dress, Primark Cat's Eye Sunglasses, Boohoo Patent Clutch, Topshop Aubrey Cut Out Boots

Believe it or not, there are some days I wake up and I want to dress like a really girly, girl - pastels, pinks, midi dresses, fitted knits and Topshop's lady-like trend this Autumn is Margot's World, and even though I'm not quite sure who Margot is, I like her. This trend was seen so much on the catwalk by the likes of Topshop Unique and Miu Miu, I'm so glad so much has been replicated into the high street.

The most memorable pieces from the Miu Miu show were of course the pink polka dots so I decided to start planning my outfit around this gorgeous Topshop midi dress that was a hand me down from no other than my other shoe, Naomi. The length of this is perfectly flattering and the large polkda dots give the outfit that really 50's Lady-like flavour. It's been a while since I've done a really good pattern clash so I thought it was time to bring out this cat motif shirt. There is always an aspect of feminine glamour when our little feline friends are used well in items and I felt the colour, fabric and design of this shirt went perfectly for the look. I finished off with a pastel pink again, (this season's in colour!), soft knit jumper with an embellished necklace to add real glitz to the whole outfit.

You can't do 50's inspired style without a pair of cat's eye glasses so I went for these rather than my traditional circular lenses, but finished the outfit off with black accessories with gold detailing.

Amy's Week In Style

Well what an exciting and jazzy week! (and I am not just talking about the wild prints I am lusting after) We've seen the nation come together with pride and joy over the arrival of our future king so I guess the time has come for me to announce that I, like Kate Middleton (just probably not as glamourously) will be having a baby in 2013 :) The blog will continue as normal other than the fact I will just get bigger each week! If anything style wise has changed, it is only that I have developed a dangerous taste for items I couldn't have afforded even before my life changing news - mainly a new obsession with everything Topshop Boutique! Of course I have to think differently as to how I dress, but I'm still young, still very fashion conscious and will always stay true to my own style but am looking forward to this new wardrobe challenge!

Topshop Liquorice Allsorts Sweatshirt and Leggings
Last Autumn, I went through quite a battle with ebay bidding wars to win a knitted liquorice allsorts jumper and it is most definitely my favourite in a 50 strong collection. I also own the Love Hearts crop tee and legging co ord so it makes perfect sense that I am naturally drawn to this wonderful set

Topshop Tapestry Hold All
Me and Naomi are lucky enough to be off to Kendall Calling Festival with the lovely people at boohoo.com this weekend and this bag would be perfect for our trip

Topshop Boutique Silk Floral Dress
You may have seen this stunning print in Naomi's Week In Style and quite rightly neither of us can get enough! In this classic Topshop Boutique style dress (also in black and burgundy, also adore) this dress is the perfect statement on its own on a hot summers day but I cannot wait to start layering this in the colder months.

Minkpink Urban Outfitters Roses and Polka Dot Jumper
You may also have seen this jumper in our review of MinkPinks AW13 collection but I cannot stop thinking about this jumper. We met in the window of UO at Marble Arch and it was definitely love at first sight. Each Autumn that comes around sees my knitwear addiction get worse and worse and seeing as its July and 30oC and all I want is this jumper, I have reason to believe it's started again.

Topshop Gothic Floral Print Dress
This beautiful dress is exactly the same shape as the pink leopard print one from last week and I am glad I've held out as this print is a lot more me. Again, it's the perfect balance between summer and Autumn with all the collar and layering potential I enjoy from a statement dress. This has gone straight to the top of the wishlist!
