Monthly Must Haves (August) - Naomi

The last few weeks the weather has dropped and my head is totally in AW14 mode. Boy I love summer but I am welcoming AW with open arms and i'm totally ready for layers upon layers of fur, print and texture! Online and in-store are full of AMAZING transitional pieces and coats and this is the time to snap up the best of the best! I'm collecting my  pieces now so be quick to make the transition and get ahead of the AW game! Here's what I am absolutely swooning over this month, it's a good'un!

Who said jumpsuits are just for summer? This new jumpsuit by Love is the perfect autumnal piece with a gorgeous folk inspired painted print which is so on trend! Layer it up with fur and knitwear to transition into winter!

You all know I love a choker and Topshop are absolutely killing it at the moment with all their gorgeous styles. This one is super cute and has nice autumnal colours.

I am dying for a pair of printed flares and they are so HARD to find! I came across these on Instagram by a website called Novella Royale and fell head over heels in love. They are incredible and come in lots of different prints... A PAIR IN EVERY PATTERN PLEASE!

I always like to include some pieces that I really love but I am just never going to afford and this is one of those items! These boots are made for walking, running, sleeping and dancing. I just love them so much I want to die. The gorgeous snakeskin and tan together is so right but the £330 price tag is so wrong :-( A girl can dream....

I saw this on the gorgeous Megan from Pages By Megan who works for ASOS and fell in love. I love a statement fur stole and this one is so unusual with the flash of green and red. It would look great for now over a leather jacket - infact it will look great over EVERYTHING!

I wore a Sunita Mukhi bag at LFW last season and have been in love with them ever since. They just contacted us about working with them again and this is top of my wish list! I love a backpack and the eye and beading gives a black backpack a 'Naomi' edge..

I know Amy is lusting after these beauties to! I love the pony skin top with the chunky heel and they are the perfect clean black boot to make a statement with any AW outfit. Also being from Urban Outfitters you know they are going to be seriously good quality and it's worth investing in for a essential black boot!

I discovered the Urban Outfitters US site this week and advise you all to check out the A-mazing product! I found this cape and the other cape on this wish list on the site & would definitely pay the shipping for these beauties!

A girl can never have too many hats and this one is so beaut for AW14! I love the shade of brown and the shape of it and can't help but think I NEED it for my AW hat collection!

These are such a good shape and I love the really orange and vibrant tortoise shell print. There a nice winter sunny to prepare for the winter sun (haha!)

Another amazing find on the UO US site! This time slightly more expensive but for a Pendleton cape it's worth it... Wait- and its reversible! I'm totally won over!

Ughhh I have been dreaming about this coat since I saw it on the A+O Instagram. It's just divine and actually is made for a queen. That queen will be me at LFW next month- how do you think I should style this bad boy?

Naomi's Week In Style

Now is the time to be buying into those A/W key pieces, over the last week few weeks you can now really see the trends start to develop and the key pieces to come through! It may be tropical weather outside but this is the time to start creating your amazing A/W wardrobe and be one step ahead! WARNING: This features a lot of Topshop (the product it just to good!!)

1. Topshop Oriental Trouser

I love a printed trouser and when this came in earlier this week I knew it was a purchase! The gorgeous oriental style print with the rich green colour is really original and striking which also comes in a dress! I think there great to wear now but also great for winter with boots and knitwear!

2. Boutique PVC Skirt

Since the Topshop A/W Unique Show PVC is something everyone will be buying into next season! Whether it be jackets, skirts or bags Topshop have got it covered especially with this Boutique grey mini! Snap it up before it sells out! Would look perfect with opaque black tights a killer boot and oversize knit for winter!

3. Zara Statement Necklace

There is never a time where I don't want the whole Zara jewellery collection and the new collection never fails to amaze! What arguably Zara do best and for amazing prices... Statement necklaces! Is one is just stunning with its baroque and pearl design- a definite show stopper for next season! Wear with a shirt, jumper and statement trouser for a A/W ready outfit!

4. Topshop Tulle Midi Dress

The simplicity of this dress yet the possibilities make this high up on my wantlist! Reminds me of the opening for Sex And The City where SJP wears the little pink tutu dress! For me I see it styled up with a chunky black boot, grungy tee or jumper over it and some fishnets!

5. Zara Blazer & Skirt Co-ord

From the new collection this co-ord from Zara is super cute and perfect for next season! Throw on with jersey or knitwear underneath and focus on accessories! Amazing bag, boots and statement necklace! Such an easy outfit to look amazing and premium.

6. Topshop Premium Aztec Sequin Jacket

I'm like a magpie when it comes to sequins and sparkly things and I love colour so this jacket ticks all boxes for me! Quite an old piece but still perfect for the rest of summer and when it starts to get a bit cooler! It speaks for itself so I think a clean tailored outfit underneath with a nice clutch and heels would be a head turner!

7. Topshop Gold Sunnies

Stunning shape and really quirky these are fab for our blog posts! We are wearing sunnies on nearly every shoot at the moment as the weather has been so fab and I think they really finish of summer looks. We are always looking for new shapes and quirky designs and Topshop are always w,axing for that and there always good value at £16!

8. Nasty Gal Flatforms

Since JW Anderson for Topshop brought out similar last season I have been after some Flatforms! I love the simplicity yet modern twist on these and think for winter with socks and tights would look great and a different alternative to boots which I always wear!

9. Topshop Fur Jacket

The fur has started to hit down.... Can you believe it?? But I am so excited by big, crazy, over the top fur jackets so this pleased me a lot! In true Topshop style this is no exception with its thick fur and gorgeous rich colour it would look great with a printed dress underneath and boots! I think I'm going to need a new wardrobe for my fur jackets this year!

Dark Craft - Naomi

Zara Black Lace Dress, Forever 21 Hat, Nasty Gal Bralet, Topshop Boots, Accessorize Necklace, Vintage Sunglasses

Can you believe we are already talking A/W.... Especially with the heat wave thats gracing us this weekend! But this is the perfect time to get your head in the A/W trends and start updating your wardrobe. Grab the fashion magazines which are covering all the trends and the best product on the high street.

Witchy and craft influences always come around during the colder season with lace, denim and leather being key. Since festival took over the high street this summer we have all been wondering whats next and by the looks of the high street over the past week it's turning dark! The summer festival look that was washed out and pretty has toughened itself up for winter with leather, black lace, distressed denim and a darker colour palette. This is the perfect trend for the transition into winter as it's wearable now and can be layered up when it gets colder.

I have gone for a dark almost gothic look which is all about clever layering! The dress is Zara and I absolutely adore the lace. It comes with a slip underneath but I like to wear it with shorts to show of the lace more. I wore leather shorts underneath and layered my Nasty Gal cut out bralet over it which I think looks amazing layered over the lace and softens the S&M style bralet. I wore my new hat from Forever 21 which I love, the shape is dramatic and has cute little stud detailing on the back, I also wore a jet black necklace from Accessorize and finished off with my Topshop black boots.

How are you getting ready for A/W and have you seen any trends you will be buying into?

Pushing Daisies - Naomi

Topshop Floral Crochet Dress, Nasty Gal Daisy Denim Jacket, Topshop Daisy Necklace, Primark Black Clutch, Topshop Frilly Socks, Topshop Wedge Sandals

Daisies was an obvious post for us as its something we have both newly introduced into our wardrobes. Daisy prints are bigger than ever in bold statement prints like my jacket or in a more subtle way in Amy's burnout tee. We love it on everything and it's so right for the summer and feeling super feminine. I like the mix of daisy prints with textures like lace but then adding denim or leather to toughen the look up. Go for that contrast with this look-  add a frilly sock with a black boot for that girly with an edge feel. My favourite daisy prints are the vintage inspired black with white daisies, urban outfitters stock loads of this in cute dresses which look amazing with big chunky black boots and a denim jacket!

I wore my Topshop crochet floral dress which I fall in love with every year. The detailing of the floral crochet looks so beautiful on and I haven't seen one like it since buying
It. I wanted to show off the sleeves so wore my Nasty Gal daisy denim jacket which you have seen as a co ord in a previous post but the sleeves zip off allowing me to wear it as a gilet perfect for summer and not to ruin the look. I accessorised it with one of my new favourite necklaces my daisy chain and a black clutch. Don't forget the little details like the frilly yellow sock poking out of a chunky sandal. I didn't want to make the look too girly so added the tougher pieces like the black clutch, black shoes and black denim gilet. I also went for a statement lip colour- which I have not stopped wearing since I brought it! I love a deep purple lipstick and find it is a bit different than your standard pink and red and looks great with dark hair!

What are your thoughts on the daisy hype this summer... Will you be pushing daisies like TSOP?

The Clash - Naomi

Rokit Vintage Aztec Shirt, Topshop Aztec Skirt, Zara Necklace, Primark Rucksack, Topshop Aztec Cap, Topshop Black Sandals

Nothing pleases me more than print with print especially when we're talking aztec! With recent safari trends heavily influenced by Kenzo, the high street have gone print mental where the rule 'everything in moderation' goes out the window.

Aztecs are the easiest prints to wear together and make work as the bright colours compliment each other and you can make it look like an accidental clash of amazingness! Add lots of jewellery and a bag to finish of your look.

Here I wore my vintage aztec shirt which thankfully my wonderful Amy convinced me to buy! The skirt is Topshop and definitely too big for me but I bought it anyway because the print is stunning and I couldn't find it anywhere! I love the way the print in the two pieces go so well together but still clashing (accidental amazingness!) I finished the look off with a statement necklace, chunky belt and my rucksack which has my life in it at the moment! Last but not least, I added my favourite thing at the moment.. my aztec hat! Of course, from Topshop - how amazing is it?! I can't wait to rock it in the summer with some sunnies.

Be bright and bold this season! Aztec is in every girls wardrobe so go hunt, pull out all your aztec and experiment with your prints and most of all have fun! Girls, this is one look we certainly wont be wearing at 40 but can we rock it in our 20? HELL YES!

Are you all longing for summer as much as me? I heard we are in for a scorcher this weekend. A perfect excuse to experiment with those favourite summer prints!

East Meets West- Naomi

Topshop Oriental Print Top, Topshop Oriental Pelmet Skirt, Topshop Boutique Floral Maxi Dress, Topshop Neon Floral Necklace, Mac Rebel Lipstick, Nasty Gal Sunglasses, Topshop Black Sandals, Topshop Kate Moss Leather Jacket

This trend is every fashionistas oriental dream! Think clashing prints in silky fabrics, neon statement jewellery, your coolest sunnies and of course a high side pony tail which I am definitely going to be sporting this summer. The trick with the clashing prints is to try and pick out the same colours in each piece or add in a bright statement necklace will bring all the colours together in the outfit. Also for a quick and cheap oriental touch use your old floral silk scarves tied round waist as a sash/belt. Don't be scared to experiment with this trend and have fun with the prints.

I love all the silky fabrics and floaty kimono esq pieces that make this trend feel premium but so cool and fresh for the season. In this weeks magazines there has been lots of oriental references and product coming through on the high street especially Topshop launching 'East Meet West'. Head down to Oxford Circus and look at the window to gather your inspiration for how to wear- I promise you if you go in you won't come out empty handed.. Dangerous!

To tone the the trend down buy into it with an oriental print kimono, a wide leg statement printed trouser and throw on a leather jacket- buy statement pieces in oriental print and mix in with your own wardrobe. Or if your like me and like to go a bit mental wear it all together! Go for really dark lips to finish of the look and a killer shoe. Print and floaty fabrics with an eastern feel are a winner in my eyes and this look and trend makes me very excited for the season ahead... Roll on summer....

Flower Power - Naomi

Nasty Gal Daisy Floral Denim Jacket & Jeans, Primark Pink Sheer Shirt, Topshop Aggro Studded Boots, Topshop Cut Out Sunglasses

So call me crazy but I have decided to rebel against the antarctic weather and put a bit of 'Spring' into my wardrobe. You can't scream 'Summer is coming!' more than in this amazing neon daisy denim co-ord from one of my favourite sites Nasty Gal! I love it as a co-ord but also love the endless amount of possible outfits using the jacket and jeans separately. It was actually in the sale (maybe because it's quite brave!) but when I saw it I knew it was something I needed in my life and to get me out of this cold weather hatred!

For this look I wore the co-ord with a bright pink shirt from Primark- don't get me wrong it looks fabulous with a white shirt but I wanted to really bring out the neon colour in it and make it pop. I certainly got alot of attention walking around central London in this, sharing the love for 'Flower Power' around the city and reminding everyone that it is actually spring! Don't you just adore the Topshop sunnies in the last photo- with cut out frames that go to a point at the top and at just £16 grab them now before they go! HERE

Daisy print is trending all over SS2013 so wear it loud and wear it proud! Whether it be an all over print or in the little details- everyone can introduce it into your wardrobe and adapt it to your look. After all nothing is prettier and more feminine than a daisy! See below for two of my favourite fun daisy pieces of the season and where to buy them.

Peace out flower child's x

Monochromatic - Naomi

H&M Black Hat, Topshop Gem Earrings, H&M Black & White Printed Blazer, H&M Mesh Jersey Top, Charity Shop White Shirt, Frock On Vintage Black Pleated Maxi Skirt, Beyond Retro Leather Belt, Ebay Transparent Clutch Bag, Topshop Heeled Boots,

Since working at Topshop I have been converted to bright colours and print but sometimes a monochrome outfit makes the most amount of impact!
Black and white gives a premium and boutique feel, so any day you are stuck for what to wear then think 'If in doubt wear monochrome!' You can never go wrong in black and white and will always look clean and ready to take on your day!

For me this look was all about the blazer I have hardly ever worn this stunning piece brought from H&M a few years ago but the print and shape is really cool! Originally I planned to just wear the shirt underneath it but I added in my H&M netted jersey top which I think really compliments the print in the blazer and adds texture to the look. The pleated skirt was one of my best vintage buys for £20- I adore the fabric and the way it wafts when I walk making me feel ultra feminine! The good thing is with a monochrome outfit is you can indulge in oversized and statement accessories and it won't look to busy.
I wore my hat to top of the premium feel, oversized studded gem earrings in black and white which I purchased in the last sale from Topshop and haven't put down since and finally my transparent clutch bag which is a big part of my life at the moment!

I love this look and you can tell by my smile I felt extremely comfortable and happy shooting it-
despite the fact It was also about -5 outside and 20 mile an hour winds in central London when we shot this yesterday hence the windswept look going on!
The show must go on!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend,

Way To Wear Céline T-shirt - Naomi

Céline Tshirt, H&M Aztec Textured Jacket, Zara Red Necklace, Beyond Retro Black Leather Belt, Ebay African Print Shorts, Ebay Transparent Clutch Bag, H&M Felt Hat, Topshop Aggro Patent Studded Boot, Vintage Gold Round Sunglasses

Everyone has gone crazy for the famous Céline t-shirt which has recently featured in many famous blogs/ magazines and has been worn by style enthusiasts all over the world. What I love about it, is it can be dressed really slick with a tailored trouser or blazer or it can be styled with clashing prints/ to a certain trend. It's so iconic and simple that for me it's a fun style challenge to dress it up in different ways.

I wore it here just as I imagined it pre owning - as a safari inspired look and mixed it with clashing prints (typical me!) I think it works really well and adds texture and depth to the outfit.
Again it's all in the accessories to compliment the prints- very on trend transparent clutch bag which I just can't get enough off (sorry if I keep using this everyone!) Statement Zara necklace, hat, shades and a belt! Wow you would think thats over accessorised...But for me it's just enough busy for this outfit to give it that wow factor.
I hope you all enjoy the look as much as I enjoyed shooting it- stay tuned for Amy's way to wear the  Céline t-shirt next week!

Today Amy and myself braved the freezing cold wet weather to shoot 3 new looks for the blog.... Now thats dedication! We will post over the weekend so be sure to keep checking in at 'Two Shoes One Pair' for your ultimate style fix.

Naomi's Week In Style

Topshop Grey Astix Canvas Boot, Nasty Gal Fishnet Crop Top,  Topshop Metallic Sweat, Topshop Elephant Jumpsuit, Nasty Gal Daisy Denim Jacket and Jeans, Topshop Black Varsity Sweat, Topshop Elephant Earrings, Topshop Floral Co-ord Bralet & Skirt, Topshop Safari Wide Leg Trouser

When I compose my want list each week I realise just how random my style is! From a fishnet long sleeve top to a pair of wide leg floral trousers- consistency is out the window! My mum always tells me wear what you want while you are young and this is something I have definitely inherited in my style. I used to be scared of print and out there style but now I like to try everything and make it my own.

This week as always my want list is as long as my arm but I have narrowed it down to my top 9 must haves for this week to share with you all!

1. Topshop Astrix Grey Boot
An absolute bargain at £40 and they look incredible on! I love the sporty style of them with the platform esq heel. These are perfect day shoes for me at work and look very current- they also come in black.

2. Nasty Gal Fishnet Crop Top
I love anything fishnet- fishnet tights for going out with chunky boots.. yes please! I love this top I think it would be great worn with some vintage denim shorts or layered underneath t-shirts or dresses to add grunge to any look.

3. Topshop Metallic Sweat
I am such a magpie, anything metallic and shiny and i'm all over it. This jumper has that premium sports luxe feel to it and I think it would be great smartened up with a blazer/tailored trouser and premium necklace for work but I can also see it for going out with shorts or layered over something printed... with fishnets and boots (of course)!

4. Topshop Elephant Playsuit
Safari is a trend I will heavily buy into this summer as I love all the prints and bright colour. This elephant print is gorgeous and also comes in a trouser if you don't feel like braving a jumpsuit! I can't wait to wear this in summer with a bright bandeau underneath, clashing bright aztec jacket and lots of tribal accessories.. Roll on Summer!

5. Nasty Gal Daisy Matching Denim Jacket & Jeans
I have been super naughty this week! Living on beans on toast so I could buy this matching co-ord from Nasty Gal. Daisy printed anything is super hot for this summer so when I saw these had gone into sale I was delighted! Both came to around £40 which I think is fantastic. They will be great worn together but I can already think of endless amounts of outfits for them worn seperately aswell. I can't wait to shoot this co-ord next week so keep an eye on the blog!

6. Topshop Varsity Sweat
I am still on the fence about buying a varsity jacket because I don't know if I will wear it enoughe although i'm sure I can be convinced if I find the right one. I love this new sweatshirt from Topshop. I am going to wear this with a stripey long sleeve top underneath so you see the stripes on the arms, metallic silver skirt and platform trainers. I think this sweatshirt is great and can be smartened up with a white blazer and rope chains.

7. Topshop Earrings
Since seeing these on one of the Topshop SS campaign images I had to have them! Worn on the image with yellow cheetah crop top which I have, silk bomber jacket and a short. I love a big earring and this is one I will be wearing throughout summer.

8. Topshop Floral Co-ord
On one of the most iconic images of Topshop SS 2013 you can see why everyone wants to get their hands on this beaut floral matching bralet and skirt. This is one I will be saving for holiday or praying for some sun in London this year! I love the skirt is high waisted for a more flattering style.

9. Topshop Safari Wide Leg Trouser
Amy will hate me for this (haha!) But I LOVE them- and they also come with a matching kimono! Daydreaming the other day about summer in London with my sunnies and this gorgeous print. I think it would love fab with lots of jewellery, tan shoes and bag. A premium safari summer look!

Lastly, since purchasing my Celine t-shirt I have gone tee obsessed!
Check out Doll Boutique who have done a Mean Girl collection of tees including 'So Fetch' and 'You Go Glen Coco'. At £35 they are so cheesy but I can't help but want to rock the 'So Fetch' one. Everyone loves a bit of Mean Girls. Doll Boutique also have an egyptian collection with the eye on which I j'adore.
Another popular tee is Black Scores 'Queen Delevingne'. All hail the supermodel that we all love you can now wear her round all day! This tee has been worn by Rita Ora and by many fashionistas who share the love for Queen Cara you can buy it now for £40 from Black Score online!

I am very excited for summer this year and as you can see by my want list I am starting to collect already! Think I am forgetting that it's still freezing outside and longing for summer already. It's always good to be prepared and plan for the season ahead this way I don't panic buy and try and create a capsule collection.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week.
