Going Away To College - Naomi

New Look Varsity Jacket £15 (sale), Topshop Grey Sweat £22, Charity Shop White Shirt £4, Topshop Elephant Earrings £12.50, Topshop Yellow Pleated Skirt £65, Topshop Polka Dot Pop Sock £4, Topshop Reflect Sandals £70, Ebay Transparent Clutch £11

I never thought I would learn to love varsity so much, but since finding this jacket this week I realised I can chuck it over most outfits and be good to go! I love the contrast of wearing a floral or aztec print under the jacket- you can be really experimental to make it look you.
The jacket has leather sleeves which makes it feel premium and has an 'A' patch on it which in my eyes clearly stands for AWESOME! If you are looking for a varsity jacket head to Topshop, Miss Guided or for vintage head to Rokit or Beyond Retro and pick up a truly original one!

For this look- a grown up way to wear varsity I went for a crisp white shirt with a speckled grey sweat over it which has the smart but casual element to it. I originally planned to wear a tailored trouser with this outfit but it didn't feel me, I like feeling girly and this skirt makes me feel just that!
Plus it meant I could add a little detail on my feet with the polka dot socks and a barely there sandal. I'm sorry for using my transparent clutch AGAIN- but it proves it really is a fantastic buy and goes with everything. I will put it down in the next few posts! To make it extra Naomi I added my new Topshop elephant earrings which I was lusting over in my last weeks style post! I always feel unfinished if I don't have a statement piece of jewellery on and I think these add just enough bling and sophistication to the outfit.

I felt very confident in this outfit and think it would be perfect for work or shopping with friends- varsity has sure won me over this season! If you don't fancy a varsity jacket then buy into the trend with a beanie, slogan varsity tee/sweatshirt or even as simple as sewing your own initial patch onto a old denim jacket or sweatshirt.

Be ready for the 'College Of Style' this summer and look the very best on campus!

Going Away To College - Amy

Topshop Varsity Jacket, Topshop Geometric Burn Out Shirt, Topshop Gold Bead Sweater, Topshop Black Leigh Jeans, Topshop Andre Boots

First of all, sorry once again for having an outfit overloaded with Topshop! Despite being paid to be a 'Brand Ambassador' I do shop in other places, I promise.

I could't resist buying the varsity jacket from my wishlist last week! As I said, I liked the calmer colours in this one compared to the H&M one I already own so decided I wanted to do a bit more of a 'grown up' look with this one, rather than the fun clashing colours of School Daze. I wanted to keep the jacket as the main focus so kept a monochrome palette for the rest of the outfit but used little details like the geometric burn out on the collar, gold beading on the jumper and playing with a pop of colour by matching my lips to the 'A' to add some interest.

It just goes to show the varsity jacket really is this seasons must have item! And it's not too difficult to dress up and dress down, depending on own style preferences.

How would you wear the varsity jacket?

Naomi's Week In Style

Topshop Grey Astix Canvas Boot, Nasty Gal Fishnet Crop Top,  Topshop Metallic Sweat, Topshop Elephant Jumpsuit, Nasty Gal Daisy Denim Jacket and Jeans, Topshop Black Varsity Sweat, Topshop Elephant Earrings, Topshop Floral Co-ord Bralet & Skirt, Topshop Safari Wide Leg Trouser

When I compose my want list each week I realise just how random my style is! From a fishnet long sleeve top to a pair of wide leg floral trousers- consistency is out the window! My mum always tells me wear what you want while you are young and this is something I have definitely inherited in my style. I used to be scared of print and out there style but now I like to try everything and make it my own.

This week as always my want list is as long as my arm but I have narrowed it down to my top 9 must haves for this week to share with you all!

1. Topshop Astrix Grey Boot
An absolute bargain at £40 and they look incredible on! I love the sporty style of them with the platform esq heel. These are perfect day shoes for me at work and look very current- they also come in black.

2. Nasty Gal Fishnet Crop Top
I love anything fishnet- fishnet tights for going out with chunky boots.. yes please! I love this top I think it would be great worn with some vintage denim shorts or layered underneath t-shirts or dresses to add grunge to any look.

3. Topshop Metallic Sweat
I am such a magpie, anything metallic and shiny and i'm all over it. This jumper has that premium sports luxe feel to it and I think it would be great smartened up with a blazer/tailored trouser and premium necklace for work but I can also see it for going out with shorts or layered over something printed... with fishnets and boots (of course)!

4. Topshop Elephant Playsuit
Safari is a trend I will heavily buy into this summer as I love all the prints and bright colour. This elephant print is gorgeous and also comes in a trouser if you don't feel like braving a jumpsuit! I can't wait to wear this in summer with a bright bandeau underneath, clashing bright aztec jacket and lots of tribal accessories.. Roll on Summer!

5. Nasty Gal Daisy Matching Denim Jacket & Jeans
I have been super naughty this week! Living on beans on toast so I could buy this matching co-ord from Nasty Gal. Daisy printed anything is super hot for this summer so when I saw these had gone into sale I was delighted! Both came to around £40 which I think is fantastic. They will be great worn together but I can already think of endless amounts of outfits for them worn seperately aswell. I can't wait to shoot this co-ord next week so keep an eye on the blog!

6. Topshop Varsity Sweat
I am still on the fence about buying a varsity jacket because I don't know if I will wear it enoughe although i'm sure I can be convinced if I find the right one. I love this new sweatshirt from Topshop. I am going to wear this with a stripey long sleeve top underneath so you see the stripes on the arms, metallic silver skirt and platform trainers. I think this sweatshirt is great and can be smartened up with a white blazer and rope chains.

7. Topshop Earrings
Since seeing these on one of the Topshop SS campaign images I had to have them! Worn on the image with yellow cheetah crop top which I have, silk bomber jacket and a short. I love a big earring and this is one I will be wearing throughout summer.

8. Topshop Floral Co-ord
On one of the most iconic images of Topshop SS 2013 you can see why everyone wants to get their hands on this beaut floral matching bralet and skirt. This is one I will be saving for holiday or praying for some sun in London this year! I love the skirt is high waisted for a more flattering style.

9. Topshop Safari Wide Leg Trouser
Amy will hate me for this (haha!) But I LOVE them- and they also come with a matching kimono! Daydreaming the other day about summer in London with my sunnies and this gorgeous print. I think it would love fab with lots of jewellery, tan shoes and bag. A premium safari summer look!

Lastly, since purchasing my Celine t-shirt I have gone tee obsessed!
Check out Doll Boutique who have done a Mean Girl collection of tees including 'So Fetch' and 'You Go Glen Coco'. At £35 they are so cheesy but I can't help but want to rock the 'So Fetch' one. Everyone loves a bit of Mean Girls. Doll Boutique also have an egyptian collection with the eye on which I j'adore.
Another popular tee is Black Scores 'Queen Delevingne'. All hail the supermodel that we all love you can now wear her round all day! This tee has been worn by Rita Ora and by many fashionistas who share the love for Queen Cara you can buy it now for £40 from Black Score online!

I am very excited for summer this year and as you can see by my want list I am starting to collect already! Think I am forgetting that it's still freezing outside and longing for summer already. It's always good to be prepared and plan for the season ahead this way I don't panic buy and try and create a capsule collection.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week.

Varsity Jackets at the ready....We are heading back to our School Daze this season with an urban feel. I wore it with a twist and threw in a metallic skirt and sleeveless blazer for a more grown up look but then kept the casual cool with a beanie, checked shirt round waist, rucksack and my favourite item EVER at the moment my H&M net long sleeve jersey which I can't help but layer with everything it adds a sport luxe feel.

School Daze - Amy

H&M Varsity Jacket, Topshop High Neck Polo Crop Top, Topshop Polka Dot Bodycon Dress, Topshop Belt, Topshop Avenger Boots, Barry M Lip Paint in Sunset

The classic varsity bomber is definitely back. New trend Urban Education is a more grown up twist on our collegic faves. The idea is to mix younger pieces (slogan tees, ripped jeans) with more classy pieces like barely-there sandals and a clutch. Sadly, I am not one for either of those things so have made this slightly more 'classy' (and warmer!!) with the crop polo neck top underneath the bodycon dress - what can I say, I love a bit of jersey!
What do you think about the return to school trend? and how would you wear it?
