iLashes - Naomi

Lashes Of London Floral Co-ord (Top and Skirt), Topshop White Blouse, Boohoo White Boots, Topshop Socks, Boohoo Clutch Bag, H&M Hat, Vintage Sunnies

Nothing says summer more than florals and I loved the colours in this floral print co-ord! Matching top and skirt from Lashes Of London which you can buy here or from Oxford Circus Topshop! The sun has finally come back out which means I can finally wear some summer clothes and enjoy prints like this once more!

I decided to layer a white shirt underneath with a cute detail on the collar, yellow frilly socks picked out the yellow in the print and look super cute with my Boohoo cut out white boots! I never like to be too girly so added in black accessories including my clutch bag, hat and sunnies. Also my black leather jacket was perfect to throw over this when the sun had gone in. I love the print and colours and the style of the skirt made it very flattering. Lashes of London is always amazing quality and fit which always shows.... A definite site to check out for you summer fashionistas!

How are you enjoying the sun this weekend? Hope you are wearing your sunday best!

Pushing Daisies - Naomi

Topshop Floral Crochet Dress, Nasty Gal Daisy Denim Jacket, Topshop Daisy Necklace, Primark Black Clutch, Topshop Frilly Socks, Topshop Wedge Sandals

Daisies was an obvious post for us as its something we have both newly introduced into our wardrobes. Daisy prints are bigger than ever in bold statement prints like my jacket or in a more subtle way in Amy's burnout tee. We love it on everything and it's so right for the summer and feeling super feminine. I like the mix of daisy prints with textures like lace but then adding denim or leather to toughen the look up. Go for that contrast with this look-  add a frilly sock with a black boot for that girly with an edge feel. My favourite daisy prints are the vintage inspired black with white daisies, urban outfitters stock loads of this in cute dresses which look amazing with big chunky black boots and a denim jacket!

I wore my Topshop crochet floral dress which I fall in love with every year. The detailing of the floral crochet looks so beautiful on and I haven't seen one like it since buying
It. I wanted to show off the sleeves so wore my Nasty Gal daisy denim jacket which you have seen as a co ord in a previous post but the sleeves zip off allowing me to wear it as a gilet perfect for summer and not to ruin the look. I accessorised it with one of my new favourite necklaces my daisy chain and a black clutch. Don't forget the little details like the frilly yellow sock poking out of a chunky sandal. I didn't want to make the look too girly so added the tougher pieces like the black clutch, black shoes and black denim gilet. I also went for a statement lip colour- which I have not stopped wearing since I brought it! I love a deep purple lipstick and find it is a bit different than your standard pink and red and looks great with dark hair!

What are your thoughts on the daisy hype this summer... Will you be pushing daisies like TSOP?

Naomi's Week In Style (Festival)

It's a month until I go to Barcelona to PARTAY and of course for me alot of planning goes into the outfits! So the next month I will be focusing on 6 amazing 'Naomi Approved' outfits to rock in Barcelona. I will be sharing with you my secrets and hopefully it will help some of you with building your holiday and festival wardrobes. I am sorry on the swimsuit obsession they were just too good to not share with you!

This week Topshop launched their festival window which of course is right up my street, this year festival has taken an 'all white' approach with white and washed out tones being key. Infact all white dressing has become apparent all through the fashion world and something that looks so god dam fresh going into summer! Take note readers!

Of course I have gone mental bright and print crazy (oops!) here are the things on my Barcelona wishlist.... I hope you enjoy!

1. Runway Dreamz Woven Shorts $115

I have wanted these for ages but they are very expensive! I love a statement short and think that pattern on these are so unique and original. They would be so easy to wear with a bikini, tee or jumper and boots. Perfect for Barcelona and perfect for Bestival end of summer. They come in loads of other patterns equally as nice... how cute are the pom poms!!

2. ASOS Woven Detail Swimsuit £35

I always find amazing swimsuits that I just love to wear with denim shorts and loads of jewellery. I spotted this in the recent ASOS Magazine and fell in love. The woven detail on the front is just to die for and would look great with some denim high waisted shorts, chunky ethnic jewellery and a bumbag. NEED!

3. ASOS Swimwear

ASOS are working it this year with swimwear! Also spotted in their recent magazine this fantastic Ombre Plunge Swimsuit and Leaf Caged bikini top are both amazing to throw on with shorts and a big hair accessory and be good to go! I always find the shapes on swimsuits are so flattering and different. These both are definitely at the top of my list!

4.  American Apparel Sunflower Shorts £56

Big love for this new print by American Apparel, I think there fantastic for summer and would look great with a crop or bandeau and a sunflower headband. They are expensive but know they will fit amazing and be super high waisted so very flattering. The print also comes in a shirt! Co-ord potential?

5. River Island Gold Plunge Swimsuit £29.99

There is always time in summer to look and feel like an egyptian princess. Draped in gold and heavily accessorised- Cleopatra is a look thats always in my wardrobe. I LOVE this swimsuit the plunge and low back makes it super sexy, throw on with a short, sunnies and sandals and be good to go.

6. Ebay Hippy Flower Sunglasses £2.50

My friend had these as fancy dress and I fell in love. One of my looks for sonar is going to be 'pastel ombre' and these glasses are exactly what I need to make my outfit stand out. At £2.50 they are a perfect accessory for holiday or a festival.

7. Topshop Flatform Wicker Shoes

I am going to be on my feet alot and need something super cool but also super comfy! The flatform wicker canvas shoes came into Topshop and think they are so right. The extra bit of heel will make me feel more confident than a flat in shorts but still be comfortable. It's not often comfy and cool come under the same category so I think this will be £60 well spent.

8. Etsy Handmade Feather Earring

Etsy is a wonderful site for unique and original items. I love these handmade oversized feather earrings. They come in a rainbow of colours to pick from! I love matching outfits with accessories and these will be perfect to finish of my festival look.

9. Etsy Vintage Crochet Crop

Crochet is a must, I love the texture and depth it adds to an outfit. It makes you automatically feel more boho chic. Go for a simple black or cream crochet crop and team it with a bright printed short like the Runway Dreamz ones in this post. Coachella eat your heart out!

California Dreaming - Naomi

Ebay Elephant Vintage Top, Ebay Denim Shorts, Primark Leopard Floppy Hat, Topshop Adonis Boots, Vintage Brown Belt

Was anyone else dreaming of Coachella last week and drooling over some of the ensembles that the celebrities and fashionistas were rocking? Well I wanted to kill myself but yet still put myself through the pain of looking because I couldn't get enough of some of the outfits this year! Coachella is called a festival for the good looking and it's certainly that- its got the 'Coachella Cool' factor which everyone lusts over.

I don't know whether I was more excited over Kate Bosworth sporting items from the 'Topshop Festival' collection which will be out in high summer or whether it was Katy Perry in the D&G co-ord, but whatever it was it sure got me going and like every year Coachella is one of those things I really need to do!

For me the festival season is where I can really show my true colours! You don't have to tell me twice to wear my one of five feather head dresses! I love everything festival, bright colours, layering, textures, clashing prints , accessories, big chunky boots, bumbags, glitter and sunnies. What's no to love?
Any excuse to rock messy hair, minimal make up and be covered In mud I'm all for it!

I have been so impressed with my latest vintage finds, they are true vintage originals and came all the way from America. My most recent, the elephant top which is handmade and hand batik and has little wooden buttons. Elephants have made a come back this year in summer safari trends and as seen at Coachella. The shorts are also vintage, I love the colour and print on them. I wore them together because I wanted the look to be quite tonal all the rich browns together and finished off with my huge leopard floppy hat which would be essential for me at Coachella. Less is more with accessories, a simple belt and sunglasses were enough to finish off this look. Oh and don't forget the trusted backpack which would be clearly full of wonderfulness at a festival: glitter, headdresses, wet wipes and alcohol!

Different festivals around the world have a certain style to them like an unwritten dress code, so we are going to do a Glastonbury inspired post to show the difference and we know you guys are super excited about Glastonbury aswell! Keep your eyes peeled over the next few weeks for more festival vibes.
