ASOS FF Collaboration: If You've Got It, Haunt It - Amy

'This post is number 5 of 5 in a special series we have done for Asos Fashion Finder on why the pink coat is most definitely this AW13's essential purchase by showing you how it can be worn with literally every other trend around this season'

Sparkle And Fade Coat c/o Urban Outfitters, J W Anderson for Topshop Knitted Bat Jumper, Marks and Spencer's White Shirt, Topshop Black Tulle Ballerina Dress, Topshop Fur Bobble Beanie, H&M Black Fur Stole, Topshop Avenger Boots

Any 'holiday' is an excuse to dress up and just because its Halloween, it doesn't always just mean fancy dress! For our 5th and final look for Asos, we wanted to do something seasonal but also something fun so seeing as it was October, it made sense to get into the spirit of things (ahem)

For my centre piece, it had to be this iconic jumper by J W Anderson for Topshop. His ghoulish knitwear caused quite a stir last autumn selling faster than it took for them to even arrive instore! So it's good to see it can be revived every October :)

I wanted to keep the outfit monochrome like the jumper so went for a white, sharp collar and then went for the slightly witch, black ballerina dress with the tulle detailing for texture

Sparkle And Fade Coat c/o Urban Outfitters, Sister Jane Geometric Print Dress, Primark Mint Socks, Topshop Martina Geek Shoe

Geometric print has never really been something I've ever bought for myself but the second I saw this dress I fell head over heels in love with it :) it is another wonderful creation from sister Jane and the same shape as the gorgeous tartan number I was raving about a couple of weeks ago :) but this time with the cutest little gems on the collar, making it arguably even better!

With such a statement dress I wanted to keep accessories to a minimum so pulled out some of the gorgeous colours in the dress so matched the socks and clutch and to go for the ultimate girly, 60s look I wore my white geek shoes to finish off :)

ASOS FF Collaboration: Think Pink - Amy

Tonal dressing can be one of the most exciting challenges to achieve and if done well, can look so slick and provide a real wow factor. After the busy winter floral look, a tonal statement seemed the perfect contrast for Look 3

The key to tonal looks is really playing on texture to create interest so I have opted for my pink boutique silk shirt dress (which I literally cannot stop wearing!) and contrasted the silk with a cropped, boxy bobble jumper. To keep the focus on the 3 main pink pieces, I thought it was best to finish the outfit with black accessories of sunglasses, rucksack and tights but added an extra little bit of pink in the form of shoes it the colour didnt look too blocked up top :)

Sparkle and Fade Pink Coat c/o Urban Outfitters, Zara Checkered Dress, Boohoo Clutch Bag, Topshop Astrix Boots

You will have seen in recent post 'Pretty In Pink' that I'd been after my perfect pink coat and after battling between the Topshop and Zara best sellers I thought I'd made my peace with the situation until I saw this beauty. The shape id desired in the perfect material. Finally, I'd really found 'the one'

For our first look, we wanted to show you the sleeker side of check. I was in awe of the Celine show last February as I love a quirky fabric and the shapes were all perfect so when I saw this dress in Zara there was no hesitation in it being added to my wardrobe.

With such a statement coat and dress going so perfectly together, I wanted to keep the rest of the outfit very simple so went for my Astrix boots with matching lips and just plain black patent clutch for texture.
