Palm Springs - Naomi

Topshop Bralet, c/o Boohoo Clutch Bag, H&M Sunnies, Choies Harness
c/o New Look Sandals

Tropical and palm prints are key for SS14 and there are some amazing pieces around the high street! As you know we are huge Bill + Mar fans and I fell head over heels for their gorgeous palm print items from the SS14 collection! The print also comes in a crop top and skirt combo and a shorter dress.. I want it all! I love the rich palm print, I went for the maxi dress as I thought I would wear it the most. The jersey fabric is really nice and soft and I love the oversized t-shirt shape of it.

I accessorised the look quite unusually with a bralet over the dress then my harness belt. I thought it actually worked quite well in and loved my new Chelsea Doll necklace with it to finish it of. The sun was shining was shooting this so went with my black New look sandals, round sunnies and a simple black clutch. Palm prints aren't just for the beach or holiday! Mix some of the prints into your summer wardrobe to look fresh and on trend.

Naomi: Bill + Mar Cross Print Bomber, Topshop Bralet, c/o Daisy Street Tie Dye Jeans, Primark Sunnies, c/o Skinny Dip Clutch Bag

Happy Good Friday! We hope you are all having a lovely start to your long weekends full of friends, family and loads of chocolate :)

Our bank holiday heroes are fashion brand Bill and Mar who's show stopping prints and fabulous shapes are guaranteed to fit whatever you're doing with your four days of freedom. We fell totally head over heels with these amazing bomber jackets that bring that urban edge to a simple tee and jeans or even that little black dress.

Amy wore:
I decided to wear my tropical print bomber with this must-have coord from Topshop. The monochrome means the bomber can take centre stage yet the pattern clash makes the whole outfit stand out from the crowd!

Naomi wore:
I teamed mine with my tie dye jeans from Daisy Street which are super 90s! I thought they look perfect with a little black bralet and skinny dip box clutch. All the focus on the amazing cross print bomber so I simply accessorised the look with white sunnies and a palm leaf earrings.

Bill + Mar Christmas Shoot - Naomi

Photography by Annabell Yeung

My love for Bill+Mar started when I wore the marble maxi dress for the Cosmopolitan Blog Awards earlier this year and since then I just can't get enough of the gorgeous prints, the edgy shapes and that Bill+Mar stamp that keeps the edge with dressed up pieces.

The Christmas collection has done exactly that and taken every girls favourite elements- sequins and sparkle and turned them into edgy statement pieces that are guaranteed head turners!

I picked my two favourite pieces from the collection to style up which was firstly the 'Like A Diamond' playsuit. The sequin shorts have a sheer shirt top half with risky sequin pockets covering your boobs, I LOVE IT! For fashionistas generally rocking the small boobs it makes you feel sexy and that you
Can show off in other ways with the sheerness! I styled it with my statement fur coat from Miss Guided
And holographic clutch. I felt fishnets and my chunky Argo boots set this look of perfectly and For that ultimate vamp look a dark purple lip!

The second item I picked was the 'Like A Star' Maxi Dress with cut out sides! Another risky but gorgeous piece that shows of your curves perfectly! Styling this with a knee high pop sock and a chunky boot. A statement silver necklace and textured cardi from Sister Jane's new collection. I always go for a statement clutch especially for going out so went for a snakeskin grey one with this look.

I kept the colour palette for both looks monochrome to focus on the sparkle and sequins, which I think worked really well. Be sure to check out Bill + Mar Christmas Collection available now at http://www.billandmar.com

Solar Sparkle - Naomi

Bill And Mar Marble Dress c/o Little Black Dress, H&M Pink Fluff Jacket, Topshop Necklace, Personalised Solar Sparkle Satchel c/o Zatchels, Topshop Argo Boots

Bill and Mar dress from the fab collection of party dresses at LittleBlackDress.co.uk

Just a quick post for you guys mainly to show off my new bits and pieces and how amazing well they go together!

The dress is amazing Bill and Mar Marble print which is similar to what I wore at Cosmo Blog Awards but in shorter form and brighter colours. I teamed it with this amazing fluffy jacket from H&M which I just couldn't resist buying! I felt it looked great with the dress and it all worked amazing with my new personalised Zatchel, I was lucky enough to be invited to their boutique opening in Westfield recently and chose the solar sparkle satchel which has my name and two shoes one pair engraved on it! Accessorised the look with my chunky silver necklace, and my Argo boots for that tough look against the pink fur. I absolutely love this look and think the colours and textures work perfectly to brighten up a dull and miserable day!

What are you wearing to cheer yourself up in this weather?

Cosmo Blog Awards

Amy: Gorgeous Couture Dress, Primark Necklace, Zara Clutch, Topshop Boots

Naomi: Bill + Mar Dress available from spottedonceleb.com, eBay Headchain, House Of Harlow Clutch, Kat & Bee Ring

On Wednesday evening we attended the Cosmopolitan Blog Awards at the OXO Tower on Southbank. We were super excited as it was such an honour to be shortlisted for this especially after only being around in the blogging world for 6 months! We were more calm and confident about this awards than the Company ones earlier in the year and we just wanted to have fun and meet some amazing bloggers. That we did!

The event was full of wonderfulness such as a photo booth, cocktails on tap, nibbles, nail bar, hair bar and hot guys in suits! We met up with other bloggers in our category Lydia from FashionInflux and Lily from Lily Kitten - you must check them out! We were all up for 'Best New Fashion Blog' we couldn't believe we were up against blogs that were 2/3 years old and that we have been following for a long time- we felt so lucky to be in a category with so many wonderful girls. The awards happened at about 8pm and it was great to see who won- we discovered lots of new blogs! In our category fashioninflux got highly commended (which was well deserved!!) and Lovecloth won!

Due to being at work all day and having to get up at 5am for work on Thursday morning we had to call it a night at 8.30 (dam early mornings ruining our life!!)  We picked up our goody bags which were jam packed with freebies and also the heaviest thing in the world! But super amazing! My photo made it on the Cosmo website in the Style Gallery which I was super excited by! We will quickly talk through our outfits....
Being a blogging duo we wanted to go with looks that complimented eachothers perfectly. We got sent amazing dresses from Gorgeous Couture so Amy wore her pink maxi dress with holographic necklace and clutch which picked the purple out in the dress I wore. I went for this Bill + Mar marble maxi which you can buy from spottedonceleb.com I think it worked really well against the pastel pink and looked great with my headchain which I have been dying to wear and House Of Harlow box clutch.

We hope you enjoyed both our looks and we just want to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who reads our blog and voted for us! We feel so lucky to have come so far in 6 months doing something that we love and enjoy so much who knows where we could be in another 6 months!

Naomi's Week In Style

I am loving the winter pastels at the moment and especially where the weather has still been quite mild it's a great look for the transitional time with some wonderful pieces coming through on the high street! Of course me being the magpie that I am I have thrown in some metallic and shiny wonderfulness which I do hope you enjoy!

1. Topshop Blue Fur Stole

Drooling over this fur scarf, how stunning is the colour!!! It would look absolutely amazing with the silver metallic tee (number 3) I think it's a perfect update for your standard black or brown fur scarf.

2. Topshop Boutique Floral Dress

This print is perfect for the winter florals trend and has been featured a lot on celebs and fashionistas alike at LFW! Amy and myself have a soft spot for Boutique and find the fit and material are always worth paying that little bit more for. A definite investment piece!

3. Topshop Metallic Tee

This is quite an old piece but I think it will be great to team with a pastel midi skirt an give an edge to the AW pastel trends. Also I love metallic silver with coloured fur.. Heavenly!

4. Topshop Boutique Pink Dress

A perfect dress to throw on, look on trend and carry you through from day to night. Team with killer boots and statement jewellery to stand out from the crowd or pull of a tonal pink look by throwing on a pastel pink winter coat.

5. Bill & Mar Marble Maxi

This dress is stunning and was recently spotted on Rita Ora! I love the print and colours and think it will look amazing with some statement jewellery. A great maxi for every season and a great buy.

6. Boohoo White Net Midi Skirt

I fell in love with this as soon as I saw it and think it will be great teamed with knitwear and fur with some grungy boots for the whole pretty grunge look. As usual with Boohoo great product at great prices!

7. Topshop Metallic Flats

A gorgeous update for your standard black or brown flats! Give a modern twist to any outfit and your feet will be the shiniest exclamation point of your outfit! Match accessories with a silver clutch and necklace!

8. Zara Statement Necklace

I love a statement necklace and have started collecting Zara's every season. This season has t disappointed with the necklaces and jewels bigger than ever! I thought this looked great with all the colours in the post and perfect for a tonal pink outfit to add a bit of bling.

9. Zara Pink Coat

Everyone has gone nuts for pink coats and literally they have been flying off the high street! Everyone is doing there own version and my favourite is the classic Zara one. I think if your investing in a winter coat you should invest well and spend a bit more for the quality and warmth to ensure it will last you season after season and still look great. The style is classic and long which I think will look amazing over my winter outfits.
