Petal Party - Amy

Floral Dress c/o Vintage Inclined, Primark Sunglasses, Boohoo Clutch Bag, New Look Sandals

Sometimes, there are just no dresses like vintage dresses - those one off, amazing pieces that fit so perfectly it's like they were made exactly for you. It's a dream when you find them and I am missing my vintage fixes now I'm back in Oxford and there are substantially less places to search for these gems so I'm so happy the Internet has come up trumps with Vintage Inclined, a small boutique on ASOS Marketplace which makes finding those perfect pieces all that bit easier :)

I don't know what I like more about this particular dress - the bold florals, the built in collar, the scallop middle.. Everything about it is spot on for me and my style so the moment spring really sprung I couldn't wait to get out in this! I wanted to let the dress speak for itself (how could I not!) so went for minimal white accessories to keep the look as fresh as the weather :)

To find your own perfect match this spring, head over to Vintage Inclined and use code 'TWOSHOES' at the checkout for 20% off :) you'll thank us later!

I am very excited to bring you these photos in the most wonderful 90s inspired pieces you will ever see! I have been a big fan of Gemma Goldstones collection since laying my eyes on it last year and was super excited to shoot a lookbook for her!

The collection is bold, bright and fun and captures all the best bits about the 90s in one collection! I love to leather two pieces, fishnet and of course the mental fur! Infact I love every piece! It was so easy to style as everything goes so well together and could mix and match the pieces. I accessorised using simple headwear such as my beanie, trusty turban and bindis! My argo boots from Topshop went with the collection so well I just couldn't avoid using them with all the looks- good old Topshop!

Hope you like the lookbook and love the product just as much as me! See the link at the top of the post for where to shop the collection!

Pyramid Song - Naomi

Mink Pink Fringe Velvet Top, Vintage Elephant Skirt, Choies Cut Out Boots, Primark Crochet Bag & Floppy Hat, H&M Sunglasses, Ebay Gold Bindi, Topshop Purple Lipstick

Glastonbury starts tomorrow and we are green with festival envy because we are not going!
For me Glastonbury when I went was an excuse to wear anything I wanted and loved no matter how OTT and fit right in! Festival fashion has been massive this summer and we have already covered it in various recent posts but we feel like Glastonbury needs addressing in true royal style... After all it's the queen of all festivals!

After Coachella and Topshop SS launching a special Festival collection I felt this years festival style is more dressed up, embellished, washed out and tonal with all white dressing playing a big part. It's all about buying into those statement festival pieces; the fringe kimono, washed ripped denim, feather headdresses and embellishment. With ethnic influence always playing a huge part in festival attire I always look to Vanessa Hudgens and Kate Bosworth for true festival style.

My look is tonal, embellished and all in the details. I stuck to a black, gold, cream and brown colour palette and felt the look was a bit more dressed up and grown up which I think is perfect for the season and for Glastonbury.

Let's talk details... The skirt I found on ASOS Marketplace and have I been looking for this kind of ethnic elephant print after seeing it at Coachella. Good old vintage finds always pull through and mean there is no chance of anyone having the same. I love that it's a maxi skirt as it's so easy to throw on and wear at festivals! Mink Pink have brought out a dress in a similar print recently If you enjoy!
The top was a present and a very good one- fringing, beading and velvet all together what more can I ask for. The accessories brought everything together I chose a long fringed crochet bag which I still cant get over it being £6! It's a perfect festival bag and adds texture and interest to your festival look. My big floppy hat made a statement whilst still being subtle and tonal. I always love it with round sunnies! I wore my elephant earrings which I thought add a little interest behind my hair and match the skirt perfectly. I always love to wear ethnic head accessories and bindis at festivals so ran with the gold theme!

Whatever your style- the festival season is the way to show it off! Especially when this year things like OTT floral crowns, feather headdresses and Topshop angel wings came into play! Are you heading to Glastonbury this week? If so what's packed in your rucksack?

Please pack me and Amy! x
