Best Of January Sales - Amy

I hope you have all had an amazing few days - and if you have braved the shops then I really take my hat off to you! Deep in my food induced coma, I have been scouring the internet for my favourite pieces and for the first time in a longgg time I've actually been impressed with what's on offer. Here are the links to my favourites:

As Naomi rightly said, it's so easy to get sucked into the impulse buying especially if you have been lucky enough to recieve Christmas vouchers so my first point of call when looking for sale items is what's already in my saved lists on Topshop and Asos! Either way, let us know what you find :)

Christmas Homeware - Amy

Is there anything better than re-inventing your home for Christmas? I love all the little additions that pop in December, and I don't even mind if they're not traditionally festive! Here are some of my favourites from this year, and if you want to see a few more, please see my Yahoo post here :)

Ikea Bed Linen
Just incase I didn't have enough stripes in my life, I now sleep in them two! I love this double sided duvet cover and I cannot wait to wake up in this on Christmas morning

Feltball Stocking
I have become OBSESSED with feltballs recently - they are such a cute alternative to the traditional decorations. As well as a little garland, and full on wreath of these beauties, I also love this 'grown-ups' stocking

Ikea LED Wreath
This minimalistic LED wreath is a fresh change from the usually busy Christmas decor

Ugg Slippers
I cannot believe I have Uggs on a wishlist but these look so damn comfy!!

Paperchase Wooden Christmas Tree
Get into the true Scandi spirit with a wooden tree this year, and what's better, no pine needles!

Paperchase Glitter Baubles
Another modern twist on a classic decoration - there's no such thing as too much glitter!

Cath Kidston Organiser
Oh I love a good list and with so much to do around Christmas time this little baby is a life saver!

Paperchase JOY Decoration
There's always room for typography, even at Christmas and they just so happen to match those sheets

Marks and Spencer Stag Tea Light Holder
I fell in love with this the moment I saw it! What an incredible centre piece :)

Tinsel Town - Amy

H&M Grey Coat, Topshop Holly Jumper, H&M Stripe Shirt, Debenhams Faux Leather Skirt, Vintage Tartan Scarf, 'Fritha' Boots c/o Public Desire

Is it me, or is the build up to Christmas always more exciting than the day itself? My absolute favourite festive activity is to mooch around Christmas markets with friends, indulging in mulled wine and endless food most importantly wearing a good Christmas Jumper!

This was the chosen jumper (out of my vasttt collection, eek) for doing our first weekend of Christmas markets at Waddesdon Manor. I love the minimalist approach of this cream knit, with just a hint of sparkle with the gem berries. I chose to continue the festive theme and layered it with a 'candy cane' shirt and festive tartan but kept it wearable by finishing off with blacks and greys.

The 12th December was National Christmas Jumper Day and this always signals the real start of my obsessive knitwear wearing in the run up to the big day! Light-hearted and snuggly, what is not to love about them? How are you wearing your Christmas Jumper this year around? Check out some more of our ideas here at our latest Yahoo #GOTG post :)

Femme Fatale - Naomi

Frock On Vintage Beaded Cape, Topshop Green Silky Jumpsuit, Forever 21 Headband, Primark Earrings, Topshop Argo Boots, H&M clutch, H&M Fur Stole

Since I have got back from Gambia I seem to be sporting an unusual winter orange glow- it's real tan I promise! Hence me looking a lot browner than usual in my latest posts - I'm embracing the winter glow ! It was amazing to shoot with Amy again so we met up for a quick coffee and shoot - our favourite things to do! This is our take on a trend that is big across the high street at the moment with Topshop calling it Chateux Femme. Pajama style silky dressing with fur, heaps of embellishment and texture in rich colours. A very Christmassy trend with pieces like feather capes, fur and kimonos being key.

I went for a bit of a clash and wore my green leopard print silky jumpsuit- this is bang on trend with the slouchy pajama shape and silky fabric. I thought my beaded cape from Frock On Vintage worked really well over it and my fur stole added a touch of glamour. I wanted to toughen the look up so stuck with my Topshop Argo boots so it wasn't to girly. Accessorising is key for this look so be sure to have something statement - a necklace, earrings or cape. Of course I went for more than one, my big sparkly earrings set of the cape perfectly and my floral headband was a really cute finish that I think I will definitely be rocking more. Finally my snakeskin clutch (yes I have mixed snakeskin and leopard print) but this trend is all about playing with texture and creating wonderful head turning outfits!

What statement pieces are you wearing for the party season?
