Seeing as summer doesn't look like it's coming out to play, we're already thinking of our transitional wardrobes - bright summery colours in thicker textures are the perfect way to go about this and what better place to start than warming red. When I think of wearing red, I do get slightly scared but it's easier than you think! I always tend to go with patterened red, rather than block, which softens the bold statement.

Knitted tees are already becoming a bit of a thing for me recently and I loveee this polka number that I picked up in the sale. I can't wait to wear it with a little collar and jeans when it gets chillier but for now I am loving it simply with a skirt. I paired it with this Boden skirt to tie together the red and the spots and I know this is going to be a regular combo in the months to come!
