What's the summer without a good holiday? It feels like every blogger is off gallivanting in their Triangl bikini in some deliciously hot country and although I may be a teeny bit jealous, I have just had the most amazing little break here at home, down in Cornwall. With high temperatures and pure sunshine, I was able to play with my holiday wardrobe properly and have even come back with a tan! So for those of you enjoying the sights and sounds of our very own beautiful country, here's my holiday tips!

Day 1 - OOTD

I wasn't expecting the weather to be this good! So had thought my Topshop trench (sale, £15!) would be a lifesaver and it wasn't used beyond these photos. 

Day 1 - OOTN

We were staying in a resort previously intended for members of the Navy so I couldn't resist getting aboard the theme in these nautical-esque shorts. To save on packing space, I took just one pair of day shoes (black slides) and one pair of night shoes (black mules) knowing these would both work with everything

Day 2 - OOTD

Looe is one of my favourite places in the world and there is no better beachwear than striped dunagrees. I wore contrasting black everything else so they could really stand out.

My favourite day outfit by far! Inject tropical brights into your holiday wardrobe to feel super sassy and I am totally onboard this shirt as a skirt trend, two looks for the price of 1!

English Roses - every great british getaway needs a floral print. This Asos dress has been worn and worn this summer and works perfectly with this thick knit for chillier evenings

Is anyone else sick of this rainy, gloomy weather? Shooting has been hard work this week and i'm sure fellow bloggers will agree! On the other hand my Another8 Leopard print Jacket and shorts have been the perfect ensemble to keep me both dry, cool in the humidity and still look great!

I only recently discovered Another8 and I am totally hooked! They have gorgeous clean cut pieces in amazing shapes and cool prints. I have worn this matching jacket and shorts to death since it came through my letterbox before holiday and we are super glad to be working with such a great brand! Animal print is great for summer with festival season coming up, and I loved wearing it on my holiday in Morroco last week. 

I styled it up with my Lavish Alice crop top and Moxham necklace, I wanted to go for quite a clean but still bohemian influence so added my feather clutch and New Look cut out heels. The weather was horrible when shooting so went for my trusty black fedora to hide away my frizzy mane!

Animal Skins - Amy

Admittedly, I am a total sucker for typical high street brands like Toppers, Zara, Primark etc but it really excites me to find (and completely fall in love with) something lesser known. East London newbie, Another 8, are exactly that and I am head over heels for their slick designs.

No photograph will ever do this dress justice. I thought it looked amazing when I saw it online but it is a million times better in real life being the perfect shades of blue and cream, spot-on structured shape and really high quality material. How often is is that that happens with ANY brand? Well known or not, it's not often. The jacket is equally as wonderful, being that exact shade of blue I've been after all season - expect to see this in a lot of upcoming posts.

I couldn't resist pairing the dress with these cute pointed flats - I'm not even a leopard print person but it seems once I pop I can't stop and I'm not the smallest bit sorry!
