Since buying my leopard print Zara boots a few weeks ago I have become completely obsessed! I haven't took them of and think they work with so many looks, I love mixing animal print with florals, metallics and lace for a vibrant edge. This look is all about the touches of animal pint to your outfits in the form of a clutch and boots. This is a good and cheap way to get involved with the animal print trend for AW14 and will update your everyday AW outfits.

I styled it around the leopard print and kept to a neutral colour palette wearing my TrendTwo beige coat which I absolutely love the fit and colour of, it worked really well with my beige Boohoo hat! The lace dress is from the H&M Conscious Collection and I just absolutely adore it, I thought it added a soft edge against the leopard print. Of course my Sunglasses Shop favourite sunnies gave the look that chic edge!

I love animal prints and anything generally with cute animals on so this post is playful and fun! I absolutely fell in love with this cute little white playsuit from Ark online, it's the perfect little summery playsuit! I went for an unusual combination and all out animal-tastic teaming it with my favourite leopard print maxi kimono from Boohoo which I have worn to death since getting it! I seem to have developed an unhealthy obsession with kimonos and now own about 20! They really are my statement piece for throwing on all year round and make a statement. 

I wanted this look to be a balance of fun and premium so layered up my blue shirt underneath and a heel to smarten it up. I almost feel like I look like a fashionable zoo keeper with my floppy hat but I really enjoy it and as you guys know I never take my outfits too seriously and like to be a bit theatrical!  Finally I went with a round pair of sunnies and my favorite Aspiga pouch bag which is absolutely stunning and been my godsend for a little summer bag.

I love a good statement shirt - if it has a collar and something jazzy all over it I will probably have to have it so when I saw this amazing Lavish Alice number I freaked a little. Animal print has been hugely popular the last few years following VB's cats and Topshop's swans but it doesn't get much better than bright pink flamingos. Yet it does, as the lilac detailing is the perfect finishing touch to this piece and gives it that SS14 twist.

Following on with the flamingo theme, it just felt right to wear this with my Topshop fluffy pelmet skirt. It may be a little too literal for some but despite the similarities to flamingos themselves, I liked the soft, fun texture of the skirt against the crisp tailoring of the shirt and the pastel pink allowed the print to stand out. it also happens to match perfectly with these pool slides from Zara which have barely left my feet the last couple of weeks, they are the comfiest things in the world and haven't rubbed once!

With any sickly sweet outfit, I always like to 'rough it up' with a biker and it'd have been rude not to get the lilac fedora in when it was spot on with the shirt! I think I am bordering on obsessive with the headwear at the moment but they just finish every outfit off perfectly!

Is anyone else sick of this rainy, gloomy weather? Shooting has been hard work this week and i'm sure fellow bloggers will agree! On the other hand my Another8 Leopard print Jacket and shorts have been the perfect ensemble to keep me both dry, cool in the humidity and still look great!

I only recently discovered Another8 and I am totally hooked! They have gorgeous clean cut pieces in amazing shapes and cool prints. I have worn this matching jacket and shorts to death since it came through my letterbox before holiday and we are super glad to be working with such a great brand! Animal print is great for summer with festival season coming up, and I loved wearing it on my holiday in Morroco last week. 

I styled it up with my Lavish Alice crop top and Moxham necklace, I wanted to go for quite a clean but still bohemian influence so added my feather clutch and New Look cut out heels. The weather was horrible when shooting so went for my trusty black fedora to hide away my frizzy mane!

Get some rawr! back into your wardrobe, and the best thing is you don't even need to wait for the weather to settle down. Leopard print will always be around, especially in late summer through to Christmas but seems to be taking on a sleeker and sexier feel for AW13, so get Kat Slater out of those fashion police brains.

This dress is a super old topshop one that just seems to never go out of fashion. The buttons and mini collar detail make it perfect for day wear but the sheer material gives it that dressier edge.

I wanted to lighten the outfit up as I usually stick to black with this dress but the white works better than I thought it would! The sunnies, cropped blouse and barely there sandals are just enough flashes of white to keep the outfit looking clean and fresh! Of course, I can never do an outfit too clean so finished off with an oversized denim jacket and darker lip colour

I love a bit of leopard print just as much as Kat Slater (just kidding!) but I do love it in small doses or in vintage/mixed up prints! Animal prints usually stick around every A/W in one way or another and this year leopard print and pony skin are the animals to take inspiration from!

Nothing beats wrapping up in fur and knitwear and the luxurious layers but at the moment with the temperatures in the high 20s everyday, high summer is still in full swing. I wear alot of bohemian influenced prints and textures and dressing for summer is where you can really experiment with those summery and bright patterns!

Double leopard print on paper shouldn't work but nothing stopped me trying! The leotard is one of my favourites from Beyond Retro and looks amazing with denim shorts and boots. The shorts I have wanted for ages and are Mink Pink from Urban Outfitters- I LOVE the print and fit of them as they are super high waisted and look great with a crop. I love the clashing prints together and the different textures which give the look depth and interest. I wore my fringe kimono over it for a bohemian esq look and perfect for a hot day where I don't need a jacket. Of course accessorised heavily and with a statement bit of bling. The tiger necklace is one of my all time favourites from Zara and the little turquiose one is New Look. I wore my wide brim hat which always finishes of an outfit. I need to stop wearing hats- obsessed much?! Sandals and bare legs for a hot day and sweaty hour of shooting for me and Amy! Finally finished of with my favourite gold round sunnies and black rucksack. 

This outfit was so natural for me to pull for the blog and one I felt super confident in. After all this is my area of expertise.. Busy and printed!

Amy's Week In Style

Well isn't this long over due! I'll cut to the chase and just get to the clothes but apologies that this is the first in a long while! I've gone dress insane recently - I don't know if it's the bare legged weather, the throw on and go practicalities of a statement dress or my graciously changing body shape ;) but I just can't get enough! I've thrown in a couple of other pieces for good measure though :) I hope everyone has been enjoying the sunshine and making the most of their summer wardrobes! It'll probably snow next week so make it count :)

1. Topshop Leather Dress

I am doing everything I can to find an excuse to spend £175 on this stunning leather t-shirt dress but alas, I need to win the lottery!

2. Topshop Boutique Silk Shirt Dress

I have however treated myself to this divine pink utility style shirt dress. It's 100% silk so feels stunning to wear, blush pink is going to be huge this AW (check out Naomi's 'In The Pink') and the oversized shape means it'll suit everyone. Watch out for this in a post soon :)

3. Topshop Leather Panel Jersey Dress

As if I didn't have enough grey jersey Topshop dresses! But this is a nice compromise from 1. And just as stylish and easy to dress up and down as you please with trainers or a heel

4. Cos Peter Pan Collar Dress

Already preparing for Autumn, I have totally fallen for this girly Cos number. As I said, I love a Greg dress and this needs to be part of my collection 

5. Topshop Monochrome Grid Dress

This dress has a silky feel to it but at £38 is a total bargain. Monochrome is set to stay around for AW and this dress is a perfect transition as it looks amazing on its own now, but I'm excited to layer it with a collar and opaque tights later on in the year :) if the dress isn't for you, check out the equally as amazing cropped shirt in the same design!

6. Topshop Animal Neon Dress

Same as 5 really! Animal print is also set to be huge in the up and coming season so why not start now but in summery colours?

7. Topshop Knitted Lace Detail Crop

I love this corally colour that's around at the moment and this crop has the perfect girly edge with the lace hem. Again, perfectly transitional being cropped and knitted. I'd wear this over a black maxi dress to suit pretty much every weather and occasion. 

8. Topshop Fluffy Tee

AW is always all about the texture and I have fallen in love with this fluffy tee! It's so cosy looking :)

9. Topshop Aran Knit Cardigan

AW staple - get it now to make the most out of it! But beware of over wearing, they're literally addictive 

10. Topshop Bib Blouse

I found one of these for a fiver in the Topshop sale a couple of weeks ago! And I'm expecting most elements of this shirt to come back in in the next few weeks. What a find!

11. Converse

Everyone's favourite trainer is still going strong and seeing as my white ones have been torn to shred, I've purchased a pair in this season must have colour - pink. Classic shoes but in seasonal colours are always guaranteed to be worthy of those hard earned pennies.
