Fondant Fancies - Amy

This post is in association with www.vouchercodes.co.uk

Look 1 - Vintage Jumper via Reign, Vintage Check Shirt via Beyond Retro, Topshop Jamie Jeans, ASOS Scallop Bag, Vivienne Westwood Melissa Shoes

Look 2 - Sparkle and Fade Pink Overcoat via Urban Outfitters c/o ASOS Fashion Finder, Topshop Jazzies Jumper, Miss Selfridge Oversized Lemon Shirt, Lilac Wrap Skirt c/o Missguided, Pink Boohoo Clutch, Primark Mint Socks, Topshop Gilmore Court Shoes

We love a style challenge over here at TSOP so when we were asked by Voucher Codes to find 3 pastel items between us within an £80 budget to update our wardrobes ready for Spring/Summer 14, I left the starting block way before anyone had the chance to say 'ready, set, shop'. The high street has so many affordable options when it comes to new season updating but with this naff weather and recent entering of motherhood, I decided to do my bargain hunting exclusively online.

Piece 1 - ASOS Scallop Bag £30
Pastels in spring time is definitely not a new trend so why not invest in a piece that you know will come back time and time again? This ASOS bag is perfect for just that and when put together with vintage items and jeans, you know you're on to a perfectly simple yet stylish outfit that will never go out of fashion

Piece 2 - Missguided Lilac Wrap Skirt £12.99
Missguided are an obvious 'go-to' when it comes to shopping with a budget. The skirt has made a huge comeback in a variety of shapes but the wrap skirt has really been a hit and when you can grab two huge trends for only £12.99 why look anywhere else? To make a real pastel statement, dig out older pieces from your wardrobe and go head to toe in the trend! Just one modern shape included in the outfit updates the whole look completely.

Naomi's Week In Style LFW Edit

I have been looking for my perfect LFW outfit for next weekend & have been really inspired by the SS14 runway looks. The 'Wanderlust' trend seen on Vogue make me very excited so I have tried to recreate the runway look in a high street way! All from Boohoo so a fraction of the price! Stay tuned next weekend for snaps of me at LFW wearing this amazing ensemble.

I love the contrast of the blue against the paisley and leopard print- also a great way to dress up a bohemian look which is perfect for LFW.

I love this playsuit, great print and a nice floaty shape which is perfect for layering things underneath and over. Love the idea of the blue shirt underneath!

How amazing is this! Great piece for layering up in cool ways. I love maxi kimonos as they create so much drama especially in the wind creating a animal print waft!

The purple colour goes amazing with all the prints and colours in this outfit and adds a touch of texture and glamour. I'm a sucker for coloured fur stoles and this ones stunning!

This necklace will set the outfit of perfectly and add detail under the shirt collar. The tassles are bang on trend and it's a great statement piece.

These are amazing- aren't they! They are also super comfy which is one of the most important thing when walking around LFW all day! They look amazing and can see these quickly becoming a wardrobe staple for me. They also come in holographic!

This is a gorgeous statement bag and combines my 2 favourite things - a rucksack and fringing! I love the colour and think it will brighten up the look and the stud and fringing detail is so bohemian chic.

These are blogger style essentials! Don't forget about all the little details escpecially your hands and these multipack of gold rings are a perfect way to make sure you are styled up head to fingers!

We were asked by favourites of ours Boohoo to take part in the Boohoo #OWNIT campaign where you style up new key styles and shapes in different ways. I have been after a pair of culottes for a while and thought it would be a great and interesting piece to style up in 2 different looks.

I am really buying into the monochrome trend at the moment, it's such a clean way to transition into spring and always looks fresh and slick. I found the culottes really easy to wear and decided to go with a smart look and a sporty look showing they are a key piece to own for the season.

For the 1st look I mixed up monochrome prints mixing the Boohoo floral top with my grid print blazer. With monochrome looks there is scope to mix up geometric prints and not look overdone and worked well with my new rucksack from Primark and black fedora.

For the 2nd look I went for sport luxe and felt my fishnet white sporty top and clean monochrome blazer worked really well with silver accessories. Dressed down with a beanie but still dressy with my black and white boots from Faith.

Culottes really surprised me being so easy to wear, flattering and great for when the weather starts to pick up and an alternative to a black trouser. They are bang on trend and would be a great piece for LFW next week!

#OWNIT - Amy

Look 1 - Swing Dress c/o Boohoo, New Look Boyfriend Coat, M&S White Shirt, Fedora c/o Boohoo, Topshop April Boots

Look 2 - Swing Dress c/o Boohoo, Pink Blazer c/o Boohoo, Topshop Circular Sunglasses, Primark Black Clutch, Boohoo White Sandals

And to view the #ownit campaign click HERE

This has got to be my favourite Boohoo campaign to date! Their #ownit competition focuses on this Spring/Summer's key shapes and the many ways in which you can wear them - I don't know if I had more fun styling my own outfits or getting inspiration from all the other fabulous bloggers taking part!

It was a no brainer for me to go with the Swing Dress as I love a good t-shirt dress at the best of times and this geo print, slinky number seemed perfect for the transitional period. I decided to do two looks, day and night, to show just how versatile this is on a day to day basis

For my day look, I layered boyish pieces (oversized coat, fedora, sharp collar and boots) for an
androgynous feel so it contrasted the girly shaped dress. It's a modern way to dress up the 60's inspired prints that are huge at the moment!

For my night time look, I wanted to wear the dress in a more feminine way but still not too feminine so went for the oversized blazer but in a pastel shade, and heeled barely there sandals but with a little ankle sock for a bit of an edge

How would you wear the swing dress? Or are there other shapes this season you're more in love with? Either way, don't forget to tag your IG photos with the #ownit hash tag to be in with a chance of winning a brand new wardrobe! Then you wouldn't have to chose a favourite ;)

I love feathers so when asked to style up this gorgeous jersey dress with feather skirt - I found it no problem! From website Your Fashion Bible it's a gorgeous piece that is great for day and night check out there website HERE! I styled it up in my usual bohemian way layering the dress with a gorgeous floral maxi kimono by Topshop Boutique. My blue fur stole always adds a touch of colour to the winter season and looks great against the white and floral.

Went big on accessories with my layered necklaces from Topshop which I have worn to death and Meli Melo clutch bag which matched my snakeskin boots perfectly. A very eclectic look all around texture and prints. Don't be scared to experiment with textures and prints in the transitional period into spring- after all summer is on the horizon (we hope!)
