Out and About: Press Days SS16

Amy - Stripe Jumper c/o Boden, H&M Roll Neck Top, Topshop Leopard Print Skirt, Clarks Chinaberry Boots

Naomi - Beyond Retro Vintage Coat

Just as the days are getting even greyer, we are reminded that Spring will come around again soon by all the incredible press days around this time of year that are showcasing brighter and more colourful S/S wardrobes, and SS16 might be the brightest one yet!

Boden
We certainly enjoyed the ride into next season at Boden's incredible airline-themed press day which had everything from a carousel catwalk to a first class lounge! Suede, patterned shirts and stripes featured heavily across the product and bright bold primary's mixed in perfectly with the pastels.

Arcadia
We got to see all our favourite high street brands under one roof at the Arcadia press day this season and cannot wait for all this product to come out! Favourites by far were Miss Selfridge's endless collection of lace/crochet/floral folky dresses fit for any Bohemian Queen, they were simply gorgeous and keep your eyes peeled for Topshops ' Artists Impression' trend, a modern 60's offering with print and pattern galore

Fondant Fancies - Amy

This post is in association with www.vouchercodes.co.uk

Look 1 - Vintage Jumper via Reign, Vintage Check Shirt via Beyond Retro, Topshop Jamie Jeans, ASOS Scallop Bag, Vivienne Westwood Melissa Shoes

Look 2 - Sparkle and Fade Pink Overcoat via Urban Outfitters c/o ASOS Fashion Finder, Topshop Jazzies Jumper, Miss Selfridge Oversized Lemon Shirt, Lilac Wrap Skirt c/o Missguided, Pink Boohoo Clutch, Primark Mint Socks, Topshop Gilmore Court Shoes

We love a style challenge over here at TSOP so when we were asked by Voucher Codes to find 3 pastel items between us within an £80 budget to update our wardrobes ready for Spring/Summer 14, I left the starting block way before anyone had the chance to say 'ready, set, shop'. The high street has so many affordable options when it comes to new season updating but with this naff weather and recent entering of motherhood, I decided to do my bargain hunting exclusively online.

Piece 1 - ASOS Scallop Bag £30
Pastels in spring time is definitely not a new trend so why not invest in a piece that you know will come back time and time again? This ASOS bag is perfect for just that and when put together with vintage items and jeans, you know you're on to a perfectly simple yet stylish outfit that will never go out of fashion

Piece 2 - Missguided Lilac Wrap Skirt £12.99
Missguided are an obvious 'go-to' when it comes to shopping with a budget. The skirt has made a huge comeback in a variety of shapes but the wrap skirt has really been a hit and when you can grab two huge trends for only £12.99 why look anywhere else? To make a real pastel statement, dig out older pieces from your wardrobe and go head to toe in the trend! Just one modern shape included in the outfit updates the whole look completely.

Amy's Week In Style

How quickly does time fly? Today sees the first wave of SS14 Unique pieces hit Topshop stores and that could only mean one thing - it's nearly Fashion Week (Definitely does not seem a second since the last one) Let the outfit planning commence!

Miss Selfridge Pale Blue Coat
Goodbye pale pink, hello pale blue. This is the statement pastel colour coat this time around and there are some total beauties on the high street, this one being my fave coming in at £85

Topshop Unique Silver Brocade Strappy Dress
The most beautiful strappy dress I have laid my eyes on. Style with a grey tee underneath and vintage denim jacket in the day or with killer heels and your staple leather biker at night

Boohoo Two Piece Short Suit
The perfect co-ord for SS - Somerset House, we're coming for you!

Topshop Coin Bag
Cute, clean and simple, the circular bag is popping up everywhere at the moment

Topshop Moto Denim Sequin Sweatshirt
Denim, sequins and sweatshirts - 3 of my favourites rolled up into one wonderful package. I am obsessed with this

Topshop Unique Sketch Star Boilersuit
I am loving all the boiler suits around at the moment. As I big lover of shirt dresses this was the obvious next step for me and the slinky satin ones Topshop have been treating us to take utility dressing to a whole new level of sleek and sexy

Topshop Gingham Leggings
I am totally on this gingham bandwagon at the moment - monochrome and check, again some of my favourites. The shirt, tube skirt and fluffy a-line have not curbed my growing obsession yet - oops

Boohoo Holograhic Boots
The perfect statement boot for £30? Yes.

Naomi's Week In Style

A very sparkly week in style post just in time for New Years tomorrow! If you still don't know what your wearing for New Years celebrations then this might help you - there's still time! Whatever you are doing for New Years make sure you do it in style and have the most fantastic start to 2014! May it be a very successful and happy year for us all!

1. Miss Selfridge Embellished Dress

Embellishment is a must to stand out at New Years and this dress is perfect. Gorgeous Grecian style with amazing detailing a perfect party dress.

2. Boohoo Net Skirt

These are fab to wear with a sequin or dressed up top and look super chic! Different to a dress and bang on trend- Carrie Bradshaw eat your heart out!

3. River Island Head Chain

I am partial to a head chain/ accessory and this one is amazing! It looks like it has more structure than my other ones and I love all the detail! Perfect to dress up a simple outfit or dress.

4. All Saints Dress

All saints do sequin dresses so well and you will wear them to death so definitely worth the money! This one is a gorgeous shape and would look great dressed up with heels or dressed down with chunky black boots and a leather jacket.

5. Miss Selfridge Body Chain

These are great to dress up a simple top or black dress and look great! If you don't want to invest in a new outfit but want to look amazing then buy into a body chain like this- they are great pieces to have in your wardrobe especially for the festive period!

6. Miss Selfridge Embellished Top

This is super cute and I absolutely love the ethnic style embellishment! Will look great teamed with a skirt and a fur jacket.

7. ASOS Fur Clutch

It's all about mixing texture to create amazing and interesting outfits so this clutch is absolutely spot on for that! Mix sequins, PVC and embellishment with the fur clutch to be party season ready!

8. Topshop Fur Jackef

AW is an excuse to look like the snow queen and totally rock it so make the most out of fur and sequins. This cream fur jacket is gorgeous and is so much nicer than black. It will look great with a sequin dress underneath for a night out.

9. ASOS Mesh Insert Dress

This dress is super sexy and a mesh insert is always a head turner for party wear! ASOS are great for bodycon dresses like this and this one is top of my list and it's in the sale- winner!

Have a great new year everyone!
