Pull Cord - Amy

Asos Cord Dress, Asos Roll Neck Top, Marks and Spencer Belt, Orla Kiely Box Bag, Topshop Velvet Boots

Of all the autumnal textures I've invested in this season, Corduroy is by far my favourite! Adding greatly to my 70's inspired a/w wardrobe, this soft, warming fabric is the ultimate in comfort dressing for me and the perfect material for the chillier weather coming in

As well as this brown cord dress featured here and here, this western style popper dress has been making frequent appearances out recently. Shirt dresses are amazing for layering anyway being able to add underneath and over the top as you please and this one is no exception! To give the cord the centre stage for this outfit though, I layered a striped roll neck underneath for just a pop of interest and focused in on statement accessories.

Have you cottoned on to the cord trend yet?

Orange Blossom Special - Naomi

c/o ASOS Western Suede Jacket & Orange Fur Clutch
c/o Red Hot Sunglasses Chloe Shades
Forever 21 Concho Belt

We love a matching print here at TSOP and this Topshop 70s floral print definitely caught our eye recently. I love the vivid print and colours for AW15 and it can be dressed up or down.

I wore it in a 70s retro way styling it with my new 'Feel The Soul' tee from Urban Outfitters and favourite suede jacket. The trousers would also look great teamed with a chunky knit and winter coat making them the perfect transitional piece. I accessorised the look with big round sunnies and orange fur clutch from ASOS.

What print's are you loving for AW15?

Orange Blossom Special - Amy

Topshop Floral Top, Topshop Cord Dress, Motel Rocks Shirt Dress, Ray Ban Sunglasses, Topshop Belt, Orla Kiely x Clarks 'Bibi' Shoes

Well if there is print for this AW, this is it for me! I fell absolutely head over heels in love with it the minute I lay my little eyes on it and with my favourite pink and orange colour combination, bell sleeves and high neck this top could have been made just for me - no wonder it's been the base for all my favourite outfits this season! Modernised retro florals are all the rage this season (and every season for TSOP) so we couldn't wait to show you two ways to wear this beaut!

Who can believe we're still in that awkward in-betweeny stage this far into October? I'm still living by light layering and this outfit is no exception! I've worn the blouse over a short sleeved shirt dress (my constant white collar is back everyone, sorry!) but instead of option for outerwear, I've opened up my cord shirt dress and worn it over the top for an extra texture!

What do you think of this print? Do you adore it as much as we do?!

Sci-Fi Season - Naomi

 Zara Metallic Co-ord
Vintage Grey Cardigan, Boohoo Clutch
H&M Black Boots
Quay Sunglasses

Sci fi metallics are set to play a big part for AW15 and I could not be more excited! I picked up this incredible pleated metallic co-ord from Zara and have full embraced in Sci-fi season!

I styled it up with an oversized grey cardigan for a cool texture mix and transitional dressing and finished it of with Quary pointed sunnies and monochrome clutch. Dress metallics down for the day by mixing them with denim and knitwear or invest into the trend simply with metallic accessories.

Sci-Fi Season - Amy

Zara Coat, Topshop Metallic Rollneck, Topshop Girlfriend Jeans, Marc Jacobs Sunglasses, Asos Embellished clutch, Clarks Boots

Tis' already the season for all things shiny with metallic sweeping it's way into every fashionistas wardrobe this Autumn. We wanted to show you how it can work in your every day wadrobes - there is no better way than getting some dazzle into direr autumn days with understated silvery tones, so don't feel like you need to wait until party season!

The polo neck is certainly the shape of the moment so this metallic Topshop number was the perfect piece to start with. I tried to keep the rest of the outfit super simple with just a plain black coat ('cape' sleeves allow the metallic to pop out a little more) my new favourite jeans and little black ankle boots. Sometimes less is definitely more but I had to add a statement clutch and a little fur collar too for interest!

How are you showing your shiny side?
