Deichmann X Caroline Blomst - Amy

Topshop Blue Coat, Topshop Acid Wash Grey Sweatshirt, Gingham Shirt c/o New Look, Topshop Leigh Jeans, Topshop Sunglasses, Clutch c/o Boohoo, Trainers c/o Caroline Blomst for Deichmann

It takes something pretty special to tear me away from my extensive black boot collection and if someone had told me that that 'something special' was going to be a pair of trainers I would have just told them to, well, jog on. But a couple of weeks ago, we were contacted by the lovely people at Deichmann and were given the opportunity to style up a pair of shoes from an exciting collaboration collection they were launching with fellow blogger Caroline Blomst (of Caroline's Mode) and I knew instantly that I'd found the shoes for Spring/Summer 14.

The 7 style collection boasts everything from tribal print flats to lacey, peep-toe heels offering to every taste and every occasion but it was the digital print trainers that caught my eye - not only is sporty, vintage-inspired footwear the first choice of shoe for fashion's elite to bloggers alike this season, they also looked damn comfy. The colours looked bright enough to cause a well deserved statement but weren't too garish and the print kept them fresh and modern - what more could I want.

These shoes are sleek and smart, yet, cool and casual so I wanted the rest of my outfit to have the same feel choosing a mainly monochrome colour palette with one big hit of colour (that complemented the trainers), continued the square prints with a gingham shirt and the sporty vibe with an acid wash sweat. The best thing is, I could have just thrown the trainers on with a basic smock dress and biker jacket and would have still got an effortless, bang on trend look thanks to these beauts.

To view the rest of this amazing collection (that launches today!) please click here - With guaranteed fit, comfort and quality from Deichmann and a price range of £17.99 - £27.99, which pair are making their way into your wardrobe this Spring?
