It is only officially Autumn when the Docs come back out - good bye pool slides, so long peep toes and hellooo big chunky socks and weatherproof boots. Any shoe that is both fashionable and practical is a winner in our books but the DM is such a classic, it is definitely our most essential wardrobe staple.

My favourite pair are my cherry reds and this is fast becoming my lazy day, go to outfit this Autumn. I will happily wear my docs with just about anything but the layers and little added extras to this essentially 'jeans and t-shirt' look are what makes this simple and chic. The black and grey tones keep the outfit quite androgynous but the statement coat adds the perfect feminine touch and even better, colour matches so perfectly with my boots.
