My surprise love for AW14 has most definitely been orange - never a shade I have ventured into before, this season I have taken the trend on full throttle most notibly here and then here at London
Fashion Week. Now the days are getting darker, bright colours are the perfect way to lighten up the bleak and bleary weather, remember that when you want to just turn to all black everything!
This motel jumper is just sooo soft it's hard not to want to wear it everyday. It's comfy and slouchy for easy dressing but it's a little bit of fun too which is why I decided to use it to jazz up a more tailored outfit. The sporty stripes on the shirt work nicely with the boyfriend shape sweat but the 60's esque skirt adds that extra edge of femininity. I wore a tailored black coat to water down the orangey tones a little and to finish the look off simply and sharply.
How are you using colour in your wardrobe this winter? With the shortest day out the way, it's time to get into those summer time vibes again :)
