With just a month to go, we are on the brink of party season and the question on everyone's mind is 'what am I gunna wear?!'. Year after year the 'stress of the dress' is worse than the hangover the following morning but if there is one high street band that have always got your back(-less), it's Toppers.

When it comes to my ultimate party dress, it's got to glitter! and this slinky little number has got all my favourites, a high neck, a bold print and the biggest confidence boost a mama needs! Despite the curve hugging material, it's flattering and comfortable - not often you can say that!

Capes make the perfect party-wear as it means you don't have to completely cover up but can remain cosy! and I tied the look together with black accessories to let the dress get the attention it deserves - the faux fur collar, snaffle buckles and tortoiseshell heels give the whole look a TSOP-signature vintage feel which compliments the modern metallics of the dress to create my ideal 'night-out outfit'

Cape Of Good Hope - Naomi

As we move into summer the cape still plays a big part on SS15 trends, I updated by choosing a crochet cape which is perfect for festival and summer wear to throw over pretty dresses. I also have a suede cape which is a great alternative to the winter cape and on trend with the 70s vibes.

I styled it with a lacey dress from Zara with my favourite ASOS flares for a textured bohemian look which is perfect for summer everyday and festival wear. I have also seen lot's of cape style tops on the high street which are great summer layering pieces to throw on over your shoulders.

What do you think of our capes for Spring looks?

Cape Of Good Hope - Amy

Topshop Cape c/o High Street Outlet, Dorothy Perkins Stripe Tee, Topshop Button Up Skirt, Ray Ban Wayfarer, Daniel Footwear Suede Boots

Despite the Spring finally rolling around, it doesn't seem like the cape is going anywhere! We may associate the blanket with the cosy layers of Autumn but there are plenty of ways to work a cape into your SS wardrobe too - if done right, these babies are going to be your best friend when it comes to festival fashion and for all the fun inbetween too!

Clever layering techniques are key for the cape this season round and this amazing Topshop cape has come in perfectly handy just for this! I managed to grab this total bargain at High Street Outlet, and although it's tehnically winter wear, it definitely works best over a simple tee. I decided to go for maximum impact of my lower layer to went for a contrasting stripe. I kept it tonal and went for a simple yet statement, season 'must-have' skirt to finish off the outfit to create a slick, yet summery look!

How are you styling your capes this Spring?

Rock 'n' Roll - Naomi

Look 1: c/o Tara Starlet - The Caroline Cape In Mustard, H&M Black Roll Neck, c/o Miss Guided Fur Trim Mini Skirt, Vintage Beret, New Look Chain Shoes

Look 2: c/o ILWF Pink Jumpsuit, H&M Black Roll Neck, c/o Smashglam Necklace, c/o Boohoo Fedora, c/o Boohoo Maxi Sequin Kimono & Black Clutch, Deichmann Heels

The roll neck has played a huge part on Amy's and mine wardrobe this season and with the 60s influence on AW14 trends it's both on trend and the perfect layering piece that every girl needs in her wardrobe! They are so cheap to pick up in H&M and Primark and will be your answer to endless amounts of outfits this season. Layer them under sleeveless dresses to make them winter appropriate and tuck them into a mini skirt with long boots for full on 60s vibes!

For my day look I went for a simple black mini skirt with my roll neck, focusing on the amazing 'Tara Starlet' mustard cape. I have been after the perfect cape and this is the one, I love the shape and colour and it looks great over winter floral dresses! The roll neck worked perfectly under the cape with a winter beret and little black boots.

For the night look I styled up my new favourite glitzy piece my Boohoo maxi kimono which is the ultimate partywear piece! I styled it over this amazing ILWF pink jumpsuit which I love the gorgeous pink colour. The roll neck was a great piece to layer underneath this, especially with the cold weather at the moment!

Are you guys as addicted to your roll necks as us? We would love to see how you style yours!
