As you all know, we were super excited for last night and it definitely lived up to our expectations! The Company and Missguided ladies really pulled it out the bag this year hosting the Missguided Fest at The Oval Space in Hackney on quite frankly the most beautiful british summer evening. We were greeted with BBQ food and ice-cream and Company's incredibly, beautifully gorgeous street style photographer Holly McGlynn. It was so lovely to catch up with lots of lovely bloggers and meet so many new ones too!

We still can't quite believe we got the Highly Commended prize in our catergory! and want to say a huge congrats to Shope and Shore over at London's Closet for a well deserved win! Just being there was an honour in itself and the love and support we are continually shown from fellow bloggers, companies and you, our readers, is what makes this all so worth while. We love you all to bits and are completely over the moon with all the success you've helped us have in the last year :)

Get Ready With Me (1 Week To Go) - Naomi

We are incredibly proud/grateful/lucky to have been shortlisted for Best Blogging Duo at this year's Company Style Blogger Awards and with just 2 weeks to go, preparation is already well underway! As it's you, our beautiful readers, who got us here in the first place, we'd like to share our excitement with you are letting you 'Get Ready With Us' in 2 sneak peak posts :)

1 week to go! We are getting very excited to Company Blog awards and as the 7 day countdown is well underway there are some serious fashion and beauty prepping going on behind TSOP's doors! Amy and myself have never heavily been into beauty and make up, infact this is our first post like this! But it's nice to share with you our secrets as well as our style tips. Miss Guided have been amazing in providing us with my beauty and style needs for the awards so massive thank you for this  MG :-) Thank you so much for all your support with TSOP we are so proud to be in the awards again and it's all down to you guys! I hope you enjoy my getting ready post- my little dog Roxy even joined in for the fun! All product featured is linked below.... 

Skin Care

I am a huge fan of Origins skin care. I honestly feel like my skin gets so battered living in London and needs time to repair quickly and be hydrated. The Origins Energy-Boosting Moisturizer makes my skin look and feel amazing. I especially like it for moisturising my eyes and make them feel awake and bright. Also prior to the event over the next week I will use twice the Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask which does wonders to my skin and restores hydration and makes it look glowing and healthy! I never used to be into proper skincare until I tried these products and saw the amazing results. I will also keep my skin tanned by using the St.Tropez everyday moisturizer! 

Hair Care

I have to admit I am a lazy girl when it comes to hair and have always been into the roll out of bed messy look! For the awards I am going to of course style it up probably with loose curls and a floral headband from Crown & Glory. Product wise I swear by Aussie Serum to keep the frizz away and a quick spritz of hairspray to keep it in place!  

Make Up

For me my make-up is always based around the statement lip colour and big eyes. I will be using the Barry M Smokin' Hot Shadow & Blush Palette to do a smoky eye and a pink cheek to look fresh on the night! I will be using Barry M Lip Paint In Coral Blush for a nice bright statement lip that goes with my dress :-) I swear by Benefit Browzings for groomed and defined brows and a line of eyeliner i'll be good to go! I also love Soap & Glory Peach Party Blusher & Bronzer I use the lighter shade as a highlighter on my cheek bones and in the corner of my eyes to brighten them up.

Nails

For the awards I am going to wear a nice coral colour underneath this amazing Barry M Treasure Chest Glitter Nail Polish I love big gold glitter and thinks it looks super sparkly for the awards night!

Music & Drinks

I have been finding a reason to drink my champagne for a while now and this is definitely it! Amy can let her hair down for the first time since having Ivy and we will both definitely be toasting to a successful year of TSOP and another year of being best friends, success and a baby :-) 

Music wise I will be getting ready to a 80s mix! I love trashy 80s music and particularly love this mix on Soundcloud... Listen HERE!

Outfit

A quick preview of my accessories for the awards are my 3D floral clutch which work perfectly with my new Miss Guided Platforms. I like the feel good when I'm getting ready to went for this AMAZING Monochrome Co-rd which makes me feel super confident and tanned! The Coral Blazer and Headchain are also from Miss Guided! Amy and myself have some pretty exciting outfits for the awards next week so stay tuned for snaps!

Manchurian fashion student Megan's fashion blog is most definitely the best one we have found in the last few months - and I want everything in her wardrobe (that's if I don't have it already!) Having undergone an amazing transformation from What's New Pussycatt to Pages By Megan, it's hard to believe that she has only been blogging a year or so!

Shope and Shore at Londons Closet

Our favourite blogging duo and a complete inspiration to us! These gorgeous ladies have to be two of the nicest people we have met since we have been blogging! Having won Best Blogging Duo at the 2013 awards, they are going for Best Personal Style this year as they are two for the price of one!

Charlotte at Lurchhound Loves

Another relatively new find for us is Charlotte from Lurchhound Loves. We love her style and her great blog and know you all will to! She is also super nice and has supported us along the way so we are supporting her to!

Lydia at Fashion Influx

We have followed Lydia for a long time now and met her at the Cosmopolitan blog awards end of last year where she won runner up. She is such a lovely girl and has a beautiful blog! Naomi also judged with her at The Grand National a few weeks ago- we are routing for you Lydia!

Lindsey at Ropes Of Holland

Her style is absolutely flawless and after meeting her at LFW it was so nice to finally meet her in person! We love her clean, premium outfits and she always looks gorgeous. Everyone check out her blog, she's a style inspiration!

Geraint at His Name Is Fashion

Working with Gerraint at Topshop we are very happy to include him in this! His blog is very new and so were we when we entered last year and it did amazing things for us. Gerraint has incredible style and we are so pleased he is going for the 'mens blogger' category!
