Hotel MOTEL Holiday Inn (Part 2) - Amy

H&M Conscious Collection Duster Coat, Lavish Alice Roll Neck Jersey Top, Floral Skirt c/o Motel Rocks, Ray Ban Wayfarers c/o Asos, Bag c/o Urban Outfitters, Topshop Jolie Boots

Incase you were mislead by the gorgeous sunshine and blue skies, AW is already well underway! Motel Rock's new season collection launched yesterday and my favourite print of the lot is this yellow floral. To show you just how versatile it is, I went for a much smarter look with the skirt as I styled the jacket quite casually - here in yesterday's post

This print is spot on for the transitional period and I wanted the other pieces to fit this criteria too so went for a roll neck tee, light weight coat and peep toe boots. Even though it's the shades of grey that I've matched up in this outfit, the skirt makes sure the combination still stands out in all the right ways.

Check out the rest of Motel's new pieces here and watch out for Naomi's bralet and maxi skirt posts next week :)

This print is amazing seperately, but looks absolutely amazing as a coord too so couldn't resist sneaking a few extra pics onto the end of this post! Which of the 3 looks is your favourite?

Hotel MOTEL Holiday Inn (Part 1) - Amy

Floral Jacket c/o Motel Rocks, Monki Stripe Dress, Asos Grey Fedora, Ray Ban Wayfarer's c/o Asos, Boohoo Oversized Clutch, Adidas Superstar 2

When it's a statement print you're after, there is no better stop than Motel so when they asked us to shoot some preview pieces it was a no brainer. Even better, they chose co-ords that matched our individual styles so perfectly it was cemented once again why these guys are one of our favourite brands and how lucky we are to be working with them.

This incredible floral jacket is out today! It's cropped shape but cord-like fabric makes this the ultimate in transitional pieces and looks even more amazing with the matching skirt which you can see tomorrowww you lucky things. For this outfit though, I pattern clashed with this oversized dress from Monki as the jacket cuts in at the perfect place to make this dress really flattering. I really wanted the yellow to stand out so kept the rest of the outfit monochrome and quite casual for change.

What do you think of this print? Check out Motel's other New In pieces here and tell me your favourite :)

No Sweat - Amy

Asos Cracked Effect Sweatshirt, Topshop Tulle Strappy Dress, River Island Fedora via Asos, H&M Sunglasses, Primark Clutch, New Look Sandals

I feel like I have been waiting forever to share this outfit with you! But I think the impatience is due to the fact I am in love with this combo. I love putting a casual twist on dressy outfits (and a dressy twist on casual outfits for that matter) and a statement sweatshirt is the ideal, easy way to do this all year round. Chucked over the most elegant of assembles gives a slick, sports luxe feel to your look and is your practical pal during summer.

This crazy cool Asos sweatshirt was in the SALE, better than half price and is all about the texture. I love the hard, cracked fabric and structured shape against the light, pretty feel of the pastel pink tulle. I played up more contrasts with a spiked necklace and sandals but matched my fedora to my dress, and clutch to my sweatshirt.

What are your hero pieces this summer? and are they helping or hindering with the weather?

#UOxFESTS - Amy

Khaki Trench Coat c/o Urban Outfitters, Lace Crop Top c/o Urban Outfitters, Tunic Dress c/o Urban Outfitters, Fedora c/o Pretty Little Thing, Gold Leaf Headband c/o Urban Outfitters, Sunglasses c/o Urban Outfitters, Bison Skull Necklace c/o Silver Service Jewellery, Bag c/o Urban Outfitters, Midi Ring Set c/o Urban Outfitters, Boots c/o Office Shoes

Here at TSOP, we are lucky enough to have worked, and continually work, with some incredible companies but we cannot be more excited to share these posts with you featuring our biggest collaborations yet with 2 of our favourite brands, Urban Outfitters and Office Shoes. As huge lovers of 'festival style' it made complete and utter sense to bring you some festival inspiration from these 'go-to' brands who can literally offer you everything you need for whichever festival you'll be attending this year!

My festival must have this season is a light weight trench/duster coat. I swear it has rained at every festival I have ever been to so outwear is always the first thing on my list and this style offers rain coverage without being too heavy to carry around the rest of the time, and happens to look incredible. The best thing is I know this khaki number is going to carry me through my muddy weekends and beyond, prepare to see this in a lot of posts over the transitional period! For now though, I of course went for a floral and tile print shift dress but layered it with a lace crop - this added texture and interest as well as being weather appropriate for all scenarios. The darker colours make mud look slightly less obvious (who am I kidding) and is a subtle nod towards the grungier festival styles.

Becoming a mama has made me slightly more sensible than I previously was and I even managed to think practically when it came to accessorizing! but planning sensibly doesn't have to come at a detriment to your style. My best friend, the fedora, is definitely another staple festival piece for me as is a bag big enough to fit in all those essentials! Most importantly, festivals cause indescribable pain to my tootsies so it's important to think carefully when it comes to shoes. These sturdy, hard-wearing, real leather boots are spot on for comfort, have no faffy laces and look a lot better than wellies.

Whilst Naomi is having the time of her life at Glastonbury (definitely not jealous..) I have been dressing the part anyway and getting myself excited for the rest of the summer! and now you guys can follow our adventures on instagram using  #TSOPxFESTIVALS for live updates and outfit inspiration :) woo!

Sweater Weather - Naomi

C/o Mee Mee MinkPink Street Art Jumper, c/o Boohoo PU Gilet, Topshop Veil Beanie, Oh My Love Maxi Kimono, Primark Rucksack, H&M Fur Stole, c/o Faith at Debenhams Boots

Possibly Amy's most favourite post ever! I reckon we could do a whole year of jazzy jumper posts and Amy would Have one for everyday! The weather is most definitely feeling like winter so we thought it would be a great time for the knitwear and coats to come out to play! For some people it's a sad time but for us it's an exciting time as we do favour winter dressing. The heavy layers and theatrical dressing that creates drama and amazing outfits is what we are all about.

If you are a regular TSOP reader then you will have read our post about the Mink Pink AW13 campaign featuring Chloe Norgaard. We were drooling over the fun and quirky knitwear a few weeks back so I am really excited to be shooting this!

The jumper is Mink Pink and from website Mee Mee which is a definite check out for all you fashionistas! It's called the street art jumper and I absolutely love the bright colours and almost paisley print on it. I knew when first seeing it that it needed to be styled in a grungy way and imagined it with fishnets and chunky boots so I worked my look around that adding I'm some killer items ask I went.

I love mixing textures so the mix of denim, leather and knitwear excites me! I didn't want to cover the jumper up to much but as it was cold I layered it up with my Boohoo PU gilet and fur stole. I love that you can seethe pattern and colour with the arms on show. Clever layering is perfect for now whilst the weather is changing. I was really clever (well I think so!) and layered a long net kimono underneath which created a nice 'waft' as I like to call it. I love my ripped denim Levi's poking out as it really creates that grunge feel. Lets talk about my new obsession my veil beanie from Topshop- I think there an amazing head turner for AW13! Although I do advise anyone that has time to go and buy some net and a cheap beanie can get busy with a little bit of DIY for a cheaper version. Other accessories I layered up a few rings that I tend to wea daily and my trusty backpack.

Last but not least lets talk shoes- we were asked to do a project with Debenhams shoes and style them up in 3 different looks. Of course we lovea style challenge and when looking at the range I came across these beauties which I wore to LFW because they look so great. A mix between a smart trainer /boot with lace up front, mid heel and gorgeous white piping detail along the side. There Faith and only £65! I have seen a lot of boots around like this and think there perfect to add a little bit of a sporty feel to an outfit which makes a nice change from a classic boot! I had no problem styling them up- make sure you check out our next few posts featuring our new shoes and how to style them!

I have linked everything above if you want to check it out and I hope you enjoyed this look as we really enjoyed our jazzy jumper shoot!
