Day 2 was a much quieter day for us and after the rushing around all day Friday we were glad for it! We were able to chill out and catch up with our favourite bloggers aswell as heading over to Fashion Scout to watch a few shows.

After a very colourful first day and with the weather being so up and down we went with our Urban Outfitters outfits for Day 2 as they were less layers incase of insane heat like Day 1! Naomi started the day by getting her hair styled at Blue Tit Dalston by Kamila which got the day of to a very good start! We continued our takeover for Lookbook.nu & Red Hot Sunglasses on Day 2 so got lots of snaps of street style and sunnies.

Naomi was lucky enough to head to the House Of Holland show later on in the day which was at Victoria House. The show was unbelievable with a 60s flower power vibe with glitter make up and just got out of bed hair - we want the whole collection! It also had a star studded FROW including Alexa Chung and Rita Ora to name but a few!

We hope you have been enjoying our LFW updates, stay tuned for Day 3's antics tomorrow!

After weeks of planning and preparing, it is finally London Fashion Week and for the first time in a long time, the sun decided to shine over Somerset House for Day 1. This threw a small spanner in the works when it came to outfits as we were a little hot but that certainly didn't spoil our day!

We kicked off the day at the Company Magazine/Office Shoes Blogger Breakfast and then headed straight to our first how. Sleek silhouettes and updated art prints from J S Lee followed by a cheeky photo with frow favourite Millie Mackintosh. We then caught the Bora Aksu show which was filled with delicate lace and the most incredible purple veil. I think we could see Naomi in most of this collection!

After some lovely catching up on the cobbles with some of our favourite bloggers, we were lucky enough to see Jean-Pierre Braganza and Fyodor Golan before the day was out. Which was your favourite show from Day 1? We're completely torn!

As you all know folk style and influences plays a huge part of my wardrobe and style. Anything with intricate detailing, pattern and rich texture is right up my street which is why I found covering this trend so easy and fun!

The weather is still really warm for September and I am so ready to layer up for the colder weather now! Until then I am going for items like this ASOS fur scarf and just pretending it's cold enough to wear it but I am just totally obsessed. I love the unusual colours and thickness of it. I brought this paisley dressing gown from a charity shop a few weeks ago and think it's great! Perfect for layering and for autumn. I liked the clashing paisley against my In Love With Fashion paisley palazzo pants which are such an amazing shape with the high waist and wide leg and I have worn them to death for September so far. Don't be scared to mix patterns and colours. I always think the best folk looks work with a warm, rich autumnal colour palette.

I loved teaming the crochet body with this look for the texture and detailing and it always look great with layers of necklace and against the fur. My trusty black fedora finished of the look with my Aspiga Beach beaded clutch seeing out my last few weeks of summer in style!

This is a perfect transitional folk look for now and I already love it, I just can't wait to be draped in knitwear and fur in a few months! How are you wearing this AW14 trend?

H&M Furry Gilet, H&M Duster Coat, Topshop Folk Coord (Shirt and Shorts), Pretty Little Thing Fedora, Ray Ban Clubmasters c/o Red Hot Sunglasses, Necklace c/o Lucet Mundi, Primark Bag, Topshop Velvet Boots

Bestival last weekend signalled the end of festival season but it seems that the folk-y feel to the summer's  favourite looks is coming through into AW too. What better excuse do you need to layer up all sorts of patterns, prints and textures? Even in these ever-changing temperatures, this is the perfect transitional trend by wearing as much, or as little, as the weird weather allows.

Naomi is the queen of the this trend and has that amazing ability to match all kinds of crazy pieces and makes them work! but for those of you not so brave, a statement printed coord is the perfect way to go about this. The folk print on this shirt and shorts combo couldn't be better for this kind of look and the 'ginger' tones just scream warm, autumnal afternoons. It may be warm enough to wear shorts without tights (just) but it isn't so warm that I feel naughty for getting my furs out already! I just can't wait to get cosy in all the new stoles and coat I've got lined up but this gilet is spot on whilst I wait for winter.

What's In My Handbag For LFW? - Naomi

With London fashion week only a few days away our attention turns to those last minute outfit tweaks and a strict beauty regime!

Here are the things I just can't live without for LFW (I think I'm going I need a bigger handbag) of course tickets to shows and endless amounts of business cards for networking and to give to photographers. Someone gave me a cute business card holder last season and I will be taking it again this season to collect them all in!

We were lucky to be gifted some amazing sunnies from Red Hot Sunglasses so these Stella McCartney lovelies will definitely be coming everyday with me - we are also doing a takeover for them on Instagram so stay tuned! I like to take a few pairs of sunnies to suit my mood and mix it up a bit throughout the weekend. This season I will  also be representing Beyond Retro, Urban Outfitters, Alice and Olivia, Daisy Darche and Sunita Mukhi bags.

A pen and notebook for making notes on trends and contacts is essential especially while working at LFW. I also have accreditation through work this year so will be great to make notes from the presentations and talks.

Let's talk cameras: the iPhone for quick instagrams, the Nikon for doing street style for Lookbook.nu (if you see us don't forget to get snapped) and the film camera to experiment with. Well equipped in the camera area this season and it's good to have multiple devices!

Last but not least beauty products! Being outside and running around all day means quick fixes are needed. A good lip balm for those dry lips and a variety of statement lip colours to take you from day shows to night drinks. Also nail varnish on hand for those dreaded chips!

Our busiest day is Friday this season with various events and shows and we will be updating through social everyday so be sure to keep up with us at @twoshoesonepair

Who else is around this season? We can't wait to catch up with our favourite faces and meet loads of new stylish ladies! If you see us so come and say hi :-)

What's In My Handbag For LFW? - Amy

With just a couple of days to go, the final preparations are being put in place - outfits are being finalised, tickets falling on the doorstep and bags are being packed, so we thought we would give you a little insight into what we've been getting up to in the lead up to the biggest weekend in the fashion calendar.

Obviously the most important thing to take is a camera! The street style around Somerset House is just too amazing for words and it's so good to use these for inspiration, if not anything else! We will of course be bringing you a full round up of our own outfits too next week. We have both been really selective when it comes to our outfits this season and I am so pleased to say I am working with some of my favourite brands - Another8, Urban Outfitters and Motel. These BarryM polishes from the AW14 Gelly collection may be a little hint on a colour palette..

We will also be working with the wonderful people at Red Hot Sunglasses on some guest posts and we will be proudly sporting our new sunnies on, what seems to be, a glorious weekend! This makes a lovely change from the rain and SLEET of the last two fashion weeks!

If you are going to LFW, please tweet us when you're there so we can meet you! We are so excited to see some other bloggers that we only ever really get to see at fashion week and of course, we love meeting new people too! and don't forget to keep an eye out across social for what we get up to :)
