My hero piece for the transitional period is most certainly the boilersuit. Dresses/all-in-ones make for such easy dressing and the smarter element of a collar and trousers means it's slick and super fast! I have been a huge fan of the shirt dress for so long but I think I have found a new favourite. Not only do they require little effort at the start of the day, by swapping birkenstocks for boots it is a perfect day to night outfit.

This amazing jumpsuit from Missguided is spot on for this time of year, when it's techically still summer but were being inspired by the up coming season. The florals shout summer but the mix of blues is a huge trend for AW14 and the grey suede adds that raw autumal feel too.

I finished the look off with my Quay sunglasses - totally not the shape I would usually go for but make me feel so confident! Quay seemed to have exploded onto the blogging scene this summer and I for one am totally onboard the hype with their statement frames at affordable prices.
