The weather has took a turn for the worse recently and it's dawned upon me that autumn is coming thick and fast! This saddens me but also excited me to welcome my winter wardrobe and layers upon layers of texture and prints. Florals always take a much more darker palette and are more covered up, which I will be discussing in this 2 part floral extravaganza!

The first look is based around this ah-mazing Kiss The Sky dress which has gorgeous lace back detailing. A perfect transitional dress which will look great teamed with a shaggy fur gilet and tights if need be! I thought teaming it with my over the knee boots made it slightly more AW. For this look I teamed it with one of my favourite crochet waistcoat and silver jewellery.

The second look I have been dying to shoot for ages! This sheer beautiful maxi with faint flowers all over is perfect for the AW 'Shadow Play' trend and is a subtle move on to the AW flower game. I teamed my Miss Guided sleeveless maxi kimono over it for a beautiful layering piece and focused on a statement belt and bright clutch. I felt like the fur cape get it that extra 'peacocking' effect that would work great for LFW!

Stay tuned for part 2 tomorrow with transitional more flower power!
