After doing quite casual/daytime outfits in yesterday's Transitional Coats post, I wanted to do a couple of smarter looks for Part 2 to show just how versatile these babies are. I have grown quite a collection of dusters in the last couple of months and a definite must-have for the upcoming season.
This orange 'duster' is labelled so on New Look's website but I think it's a happy medium between a duster and a blazer making it much smarter than your full length duster. Brighter colour outwear looks amazing with completely monochrome outfits to make a real statement. My other love for the new season are these amazing pointed, patent flats that smarten up ripped jeans beautifully.
Other than monochrome with a colour pop, my other favourite statement outfits are tonal. This isn't a new concept by no means but it's set to be huge this Autumn, especially in blue hues. The duster is technically Lilac, so adds a sherberty tone to the grey marl. This jersey playsuit is sooo comfy it feels like pyjamas - who doesnt want to be that comfy at an event? The texture mash in this outfit is crucial when it comes to tonal dressing but finishing off with black and white details can break the look up a bit :)
So there we have it! Which of the 4 looks are your fave?
