Everywhere is pushing a new lace grunge trend which consists of light and dark lace with a 90s grunge edge. This trend is proving perfect for transitional dressing with the light fabrics and add on layers to take you into AW. I always like adding a touch edge to lace and black lace is always really nice to AW dressing against knits and fur.

This outfit is layer-tastic as always but I really enjoyed putting it together! First I started with the black lace midi dress with a white crisp shirt underneath for a smart edge. I layered a grey t-shirt with white Lace jacket from Quiz which is oh so dreamy! Accessorising with my statement Moxham necklace which is good for a tough edge and black leather accessories…. And of course my fedora which I can’t take of oops!

Other ways to style this trend are by teaming your looks with band tees, 90s monochrome florals and rucksack.. don’t forget chunky black boots! I think it’s such a great trend for workwear or for at a gig, are you guys laced over?
