Other than printed trousers, the other thing I seem to be relying on far too often this summer is monochrome outfits - once again, they're just far too easy to chuck on. Lack of colour needn't be boring though and that's what I wanted to show in these two outfits.

Both outfits have the same baseline idea, one being different stripes and one being different checks. Different 'versions' of the same print is the perfect way to create an interesting outfit without it being too loud and clashy. The stripe outfit in particular has been a go-to outfit the last couple of months and the jeans were only a fiver!

I originally thought about doing a more dressed up and a more dressed down ways to wear these monochrome outfits but I seemed to have gone for a blend of both in both looks, sorry! I toned down the tailored trousers with a boys t-shirt and dressed up the jeans and tee with sandals - I just seem to feel most comfortable in the happy medium :)

Are you a printed trouser fan? If you weren't before, I hope I have given you the courage to give them a go whatever your personal style! Let me know how you get on :)

  4. People often ask whether these fashion combats are the real deal. Well they certainly do have the relaxed cut and styling of genuine surplus trousers but often that is where the similarities end. Parkour Sweats
