Bizarre Love Triangl - Amy

Indy Bikini in Holly Hyde c/o Triangl Swimwear, Boohoo Fedora, Topshop Sunglasses, Customised Tie Dye Tee c/o Cordelia Hearts, Leopard Slip Ons c/o Daniel Footwear

My absolute most favourite way to get into the summer mind frame is to go out and buy a brand new bikini! Even if I'm not going abroad, it's always nice to prance around in the garden attempting to get a bit of colour (especially when I have to stand next to this travelling babe who is topping up her Gambian tan in Morocco as we speak!)

Because of this yearly ritual, I don't traditionally spend a lot of money on decent swimwear but as my shopping/financial habits have changed dramatically this year it made sense to invest in something worth the while. Luckily, I didn't need to spend a penny thanks to the incredible people at Triangl and I got the best quality bikini going, in a style and pattern that is certain to see me through a good few seasons of swimming and tanning even with my ever changing body shape! The neoprene material is so comfy and doesn't do that unflattering cling thing most swimwear does when it's wet.

I know loads of people worry about the sizing of Triangl products so I based mine around Naomi's previous Triangl review she did (here) back in January and went for an L for both parts. I am a size 10 trouser size and 8/10 in tops and dresses but having only recently been blessed with boobies I wasn't entirely sure what to go for. I was happy with the sizing as it wasn't too snug but the tie string nature of both parts meant I had the flexibility of it fitting exactly how I wanted it to.

Naomi rightly said in her post that the best thing about us shooting together is the fun and laughter we have and the confidence we give each other to be proud of who we are! and nothing shows it more than agreeing to do skimpy bikini post just 4 months after having a baby, and just another reason why I wear my specially made TSOP tie dye tee with nothing but pride :)

When blogging and doing our posts we have a laugh and lots of fun with it! Especially the rare but special occasion I go back to oxford to shoot with Amy! Blogging with your best friend means you have the confidence and passion together to blog about what we truly believe in and boy do we love Triangl!

It's that time of year again for swimwear and cover up shopping and Triangl always have the answer. Amazing quality, prints and quirky finishes and they fit like a glove! They do come up on the small side I am wearing a M top and L bottoms! The good thing is though they don't fall down and definitely won't get saggy when getting out the pool on holiday!

I have come to the conclusion that every girl needs a Triangl bikini for summer even if it's just for sun bathing in your garden!

It’s that funny time of year where we need a light spring cover up for the fluctuating weather. Miss Guided have a fab range of spring light jackets which are perfect for when you need that extra layer to throw over your perfect spring ensembles. Check them out HERE!

Monochrome outfits always look perfect with a statement spring jacket and I went with a sport luxe look with the amazing palm print skirt. I love the organza cropped shirt which I think looked great with my Triangl Bikini underneath for a pop or neon and interest. This shirt has fast become a staple in my wardrobe for day and night. The shoes were a great monochrome addition with the plastic strapping and accessorised with my round sunnies and black clutch bag. The jacket is my perfect spring cover up, its beige trench style makes it easy to throw on over any outfit and look city chic! I loved it with this sports luxe feel outfit, I thought it looked premium yet cool.

Whats your perfect spring cover up?

Naomi's Week In Style

I have been completely submerged into the wonderful world of vintage print and texture since starting my job at Beyond Retro a month ago. Everything I have brought has had a massive folk presence and has just got me super excited for holiday and the festival season!

I'm going to Morocco in May for a wedding and a little holiday so I'm starting to buy things for that. I want my wardrobe to have major Morocco vibes so have been opting for rich colours and prints.... Obviously!

1. Beach Cafe Sunchaser Pants

On holiday you always want easy things to throw on by the beach or pool to be both cool and stylish. These trousers are going to be my godsend for holidays this summer. They fit like a dream, are super comfy and are amazing pastel crochet! What more can I ask for?!

Since working with them previously I have absolutely fallen head over heels for their bikinis. The fabric and fit makes such a difference and I'm very excited to wear this new animal print one which I think would look amazing with a headpiece and floaty kimono!

3. eBay Headpiece

I'm always on the lookout for unusual jewellery and headpieces and this is just divine! A great statement piece to wear at night and will dress up the most simplest of outfits with a glamorous touch... All for £10!

4. Folk

The folk and world traveller influences which are now hitting the high street heavily for SS14 have got me all in a tizzle! It just gives me
excuses to wear more pattern, colour and texture... Yes I said MORE (if that's possible!) go to town this season to create breathtaking ensembles!

I have the biggest soft spot for Moxham! My black leather necklace I got for my birthday is my all time favourite and the new collection has got me very very excitable! White connecting segments which make up this piece of art which also comes in a bracelet and wait..... A headband!! Shut the front door! I need it all...

6. Beyond Retro Folk Jacket

I'm not just saying this because I work for them but vintage is the answer to recreating runway looks and trends. This jacket is obscenely good and perfect for the folk SS14 trend. Mix vintage with high street and you will realise... Vintage is the key!

7. eBay Beige Cape

Since watching the burberry show over and over again and wanting to re create every single look I came across this beauty on eBay! This beige cape is my must have piece for spring. Perfect to team over floaty dresses like the burberry show and be good to go for SS14. Great find!

8. Jeffrey Campbell Boots

I have wanted a pair of animal printed boots for a while now but haven't found the right pair. Until now! Jeffrey Campbell never fail to amaze and these quirky boots have a hidden wedge inside which I really like! It's always nice to have a bit of a lift- even better when no one knows! Really unusual print- definite purchase!

9. Burberry

I know it's the AW14 show but I just want it all right now! Looks like this are perfect for spring layering floaty dresses with light capes and ethnic influences in the accessories. This whole show is basically my dream so you will have to excuse me if I try and dress like this for the foreseeable future!

Triangl Swimwear - Naomi

I was asked by wonderful swimwear brand Triangl to do a review and did think it was mental in January but I am actually glad to cover some swimwear as I go to a Morocco in a few months! The bikinis are really cool with mismatching tops and bottoms. I love the use of metallic and net together and think they are the answer for fashionable girls on the beach!

The packaging is super cute and it came with a matching silver bag for the bikini to go in which is so handy for the beach! I got size M in the top and bottom but could of done with an S in the top. I think its great you can choose sizes in both as if your like me I always have to get different sizes due to being slightly pear shape. The bikini is very thick and supportive fabric which means no getting out the pool with a saggy bikini bottom or them falling down! You get what you pay for- great quality and fit!

I have showed the bikini in full at the top and got a bit creative with the last 2 images styling it up In a skate esq outfit which is bang on trend for SS14! I will definitely be rocking the bikini in a look like this over summer- the bikini top is actually a similar shape to the Alexander Wang bralets so I think it works great under a shirt like this!

Whatever your holiday plans for 2014 make sure you head to Triangl for your swimwear!
