The full skirt has made a huge come back this season and there's no suprise why! It looks super chic even paired with a jersey and converse- it's a quick staple piece to guarantee you are on trend and making a statement. It's practicality with the longer length makes it perfect for day wear and I know I will definitely be sporting one at London Fashion Week next month. Look to my images for inspiration you don't have to be a trend follower to wear this look, just be simple and let the skirt do the talking. Team your statement piece with a jersey, cropped jumper and leather jacket for a clean stylish outfit that's SS14 ready. Go for a staple bag and shoe that compliments your look- if you are wearing a jersey tee go for a dressy shoe and clutch to capture the street style vibe and get the smart/casual balance. Key style icons for this look are Alexa Chung and Olivia Palermo who carry of casual chic with a panache so take note girls... The trick is to look effortless!

I styled my first look around my red tulle skirt from Boohoo which I wore with a casual cropped striped tee. I love the mix of textures, the jersey and tulle work really well and look great with a leather. I went for a clashing shoe and felt the leopard worked really well with the stripes, accessories kept to a minimum with amazing statement necklace from Ziba, rings and a small PVC clutch.

Do you love my necklace? Ziba are giving you the chance to win a £50 voucher! See how to enter below....

Post Christmas Glitz - Amy

Sequin Kimono c/o Motel Rocks, Topshop Velvet Fringe Tunic, Boohoo Wide Rim Hat, Primark Pink Fur Stole, Topshop Anchor Cut Put Boots

What's the best way to cheer up this dreary month? I know it's easy to want to hide away at home in old sweatshirts revelling in despair about tighter waist lines and suffering bank balances but injecting a little glitter into your January will leave you feeling goddam fabulous and this kimono is pretty much perfect for banishing both of those post-Christmas blues.

When the gorgeous people at Motel offered us a piece for the festive season, I was days away from giving birth so my usual go-to bodycon dress was a definite no-no, as I had no idea what state my tum would be in by the time I'd get around to wearing it so this incredible sequin kimono seemed the perfect option - all the show stopping glitz I needed for Christmas without being self conscious and if anything it was a distraction from what was underneath it! So if one too many cheese boards/mince pies/buckets of baileys were consumed, no one would ever know! Even better, this incredible piece is now half price over at Motelrocks.com

Velvet seemed perfect for mixing up the textures so this beautiful Topshop dress (also in the sale!) was an ideal match for an easily done, 'Wow' outfit. I finished off with a big rim hat and fur for a more sophisticated look.

Let's Skate - Amy

Topshop Oversized Check Shirt, Cheap Monday Roll Neck Tee Dress via Asos, Topman Striped Bobble Hat, Freedom for Topshop Eagle Necklace, Topshop Black Rucksack, Topshop Sports Socks, New Balance 410 Trainers

With Christmas over and done with for another year, it's time to get ready for SS and this year the skate trend is going to be huge. Check shirts with board shorts, beanies and backpacks and Californian causal attitude are must haves so dig out that old pair of Vans.

This outfit is skate influenced with a bit of a twist - I've minused out all the loud colours from the trend to create a more grown up and fashion forward, monochrome look but have used all the key pieces.

I started with the boyfriend shirt with its long shape giving a more modern take on just your average check shirt and paired it with a boxy t-shirt dress with a roll neck collar for a sleeker feel yet the slouchy shape keeps the cas element. The jet black against the check creates a nice mixture of texture without any garish slogans or patterns too!

Accessories are what makes this trend so a bobble beanie and rucksack were essential but it's this seasons 'it' shoe that really sets the perfect tone of sleek everyday wear.

Let's Skate - Naomi

Topshop Beanie, Urban Outfitters Stripe Tee, H&M Net Top, Vintage 80s Shorts, Topshop Grey Jumper, Triangl Swimwear Bag, Nike Trainers

In the new year it's always nice to take a relaxed casual look into spring. After the glitz and glamour of Christmas and new year it's nice to dress down and embrace springs coolest trends. Skate was a massive influence on the M Missoni Resort Collection SS2014 and the influence can be seen in recent photoshoots and look books. The skate look played with the California girls vibrant and unconventional attitude to fashion- youthful and fun!

Keeping the skate look fresh and current and not look like your still 15 is to add in tropical prints and sexier pieces like a Bralet under a hoody. Queen Cara is a style icon for this look and she carries it of with a pancache - take note girls!

I went super casual with my look and laid back. The bright short gives it that edge and carefree edge that captures the skate essence. Layering is key the netted top under the stipe tee added I. A great edge! Simply a jumper around my waist and beanie creates the skate look and the Nike trainers made the look sporty yet interesting. The bag is actually from my Triangl Swimwear but I think it works perfect with this look - sporty Luxe feel!

Are you guys getting your skate on for SS14?

Florals will be an obvious choice come spring, but we'd prefer to break them out early. A sweet bouquet is just the right remedy for the gloomy winter weather. Lead by Givenchy, D&G and Erdem. The flowers of the moment are set on a black canvas rather than white - and during these dark winter days we are all about the moodier palette.

We were asked by Bank Fashion to cover winter florals, which is a trend I have worn throughout winter to brighten up my wardrobe. Bank has recently had some amazing new floral product hit down so it was an easy choice for me to make with this gorgeous velvet Playsuit and fringed kimono both by brand Ribbon. I felt like the patterns worked well together being slightly mismatchy yet still complimenting eachother. I love both pieces and know this is going to be a staple outfit for me from now until summer! It's never to early for me to break out the floral crown especially in this rich red colour which makes it perfect for winter. The floral crown is from http://www.stephanieverafter.com/ and you can get them in a variety of amazing colours! I accessorised this look with my Topshop Layered necklaces which complimented the look and a simple belt from UO.

Are you breaking your florals out early ahead of spring?

Triangl Swimwear - Naomi

Bikini c/o Triangl Swimwear
Buy Coco Moonbeams Bikini HERE

I was asked by wonderful swimwear brand Triangl to do a review and did think it was mental in January but I am actually glad to cover some swimwear as I go to a Morocco in a few months! The bikinis are really cool with mismatching tops and bottoms. I love the use of metallic and net together and think they are the answer for fashionable girls on the beach!

The packaging is super cute and it came with a matching silver bag for the bikini to go in which is so handy for the beach! I got size M in the top and bottom but could of done with an S in the top. I think its great you can choose sizes in both as if your like me I always have to get different sizes due to being slightly pear shape. The bikini is very thick and supportive fabric which means no getting out the pool with a saggy bikini bottom or them falling down! You get what you pay for- great quality and fit!

I have showed the bikini in full at the top and got a bit creative with the last 2 images styling it up In a skate esq outfit which is bang on trend for SS14! I will definitely be rocking the bikini in a look like this over summer- the bikini top is actually a similar shape to the Alexander Wang bralets so I think it works great under a shirt like this!

Whatever your holiday plans for 2014 make sure you head to Triangl for your swimwear!

Amy's Week In Style

Hello! As if it's been a whole month since I last blogged, and what a month it has been - I am now an extremely proud mumma to a beautiful little lady, Ivy Jean :) After a hairy couple of weeks we were home for Christmas and now we're all settled in I am raring to get shooting again! Even with a newborn, I cannot stop myself from online lusting (how naff were the sales though?!)  and here's what I'm loving this week!

Topshop Clean Rib Jumper
So this comes in every colour and I settle on grey?! I'm loving clean, minimalist looks at the moment and this goes perfectly with a white collar, black ripped knee skinnies and the NB trainers with a little sock

Cheap Monday Roll Neck T-Shirt Dress (Asos Exclusive)
I am still loving high and roll neck collars and this is perfect for the transition into SS14 looking good with knitwear and boots or bare-legged with sandals.

Monki Stripe Dress
Oversized Patterened T Shirt Dress? Perfect disguise for my 'almost gone' tum! And only £18 - perfect chuck on and go item

New Balance Grey 410 Trainers
Who'd of thought I'd be lusting after actual trainers? The Skate trend set to be massive for SS14 has inspired me to get out all my old vans, and treat myself to the must have casual shoe

Topshop Vinyl Tote
A more practical bag than my little vintage shoulder bags in an exciting, modern texture

Topshop Gingham Skirt
Having loved all the gorgeous check skirts around in the Autumn and unable to buy or wear any of them, my patience has paid off as my favourite one of all has only just arrived! My first 'New Mum' treat!
